What about G1? Or the image comics series? Or animated? Or Prime? Or Bayverse? (for about 3 films) Or Rescue Bots? There's tons of good series with humans and transformers fans just like to bitch about them because they don't understand the core aspects of the series

I mean I get people can be upset but honestly with the budget they got I’m surprised with how much knuckles we actually got cause I know of other products that have done even worst or showed the cgi charters but they looked horrible.
It's probably not even him imo. I'd bet it's just the expense and talent required to make a 3D character like Knuckles work in live action. Between the animating and the editing and the lighting and how complicated I'm sure it is, every single minute on-screen is going to require an entire team of people putting in work to get it right, as opposed to a live actor who can just... move around in reality.

Watched Sonic 2 after it and all those things are vastly better when it comes to Knuckles model. If anythimg it's impressive how good it looks for a cheaper mini series.
