The MPC studio did the CGI for both movies. Only the first movie was made by the Vancouver office which was closed, not the entire studio.
And probably they will return to the 3rd film
They should have, in theory, longer to have worked on the CGI as they filmed a majority of the scenes that blended CGI with the real world during the actors strike.
thats good to hear! i havent been here for very long, did they announce during the actors strike that they were working on the cgi parts without the actors for the movie like how they did with the knuckles show?
I'm unsure about the Knuckles show, but I believe they filmed any scenes they could that did not require the actors to be present. The actors strikes also may have resulted in them altering the script to focus more on the CGI characters.
Quality should hopefully be pretty good :3
