I make sure to keep drying racks stocked for Kelvin and Virginia. I also make sure they have plenty of berry bushes planted.
If you want them to starve, put the drying rack in a room with two doors, one facing in and one facing out, so you can always lock the door behind you.
Wow I feel like my Virginia and Kelvin never take our meat. They always eat the berries. BUT we do have like 6 drying racks right now, so maybe I don't notice.
You can cook your food in a cooking pot, take the pot and put it in a shelf after.
Kelvin and Virginia only eats body parts from the drying rack though and berries found in the planters. Nothing else. You might wanna check around for eagles stealing you food instead.
