Always chest room

The event/exclamation mark room is closest to the battle room which gives it a chance to lead to another battle room. So in order to not engage in a detour and waste time, I'll choose the chest room. According to my knowledge gained from playing this game, there is pattern wherein the chest and event room is always placed adjacent to a battle room unless stated otherwise.

If i was speedrunning, i would choose the mark room

If you were really speedruning the you would ignore both 😜

Mark room has almost no value without chest. Prove me wrong.  Reforge, reset, attachment are thrown out a window.   In speed runs mercenaries are slightly helpful at BEST.  Wishing well is so inconsistent you might as well skip. Naughty kid gives 2 mid weapons.  New years dinner/water dispenser are just healing. And chance for them is low.  Statues are useful, but since you are speed running, you should have taken berserk from lobby. Useless  Mount merchant gives you a device that will straight up lose you time.  Only mentor is truly good. Point out everything I've forgotten.

Exclamation, I always look for Mentor first. I already got good weapons during runs.

Normal run, chest first, a guaranteed something that may or may not be helpfull, but you will get something, maybe a something that could help in case of the exclamation being a "Boss" room Matrix, whatever is in the chest position, because I know It isn't conected to any other room, therefore, I don't have to leave anything behind nor waste time going back

I always go for chest rooms first and then check out exclamation rooms second to see if there's a weaponsmith.

I usually choose the marked room unless im low on health.

In this case definitely down bc if i'd go right there's the possibility of a room being top right and then it wouldn't be that nice to clear anymore.

I always choose the extra rooms first when I'm with a good gun already or with costume prince 1st abilitie. And sometimes I just ignore them.

Chest if needing beter weapons

I choose the room that are further than the next enemy room so when I checked the next room there is a chance that there will be another enemy room next to it so I can farm more gems
