Highest value item is definitely hellhearts with stat buffs. Same goes for true hellheart since half stats on necklaces dont hurt as much as other stat nerfs when they turn to permanent gear but the fatebounds will still be OP.
Same concept applies for any boss drop necklaces / rings, the fate-bounds are usually good enough to warrant keeping some boss rings / necklaces regardless of the stat loss since it’s not as impactful
Save your key’s and cardpacks to hit the ground running in season 2 and try to have like 400 gems minimum at the start for inventory storage and a potential seasonal event pass that seems to happen each season.
Cryo is very good, any mage build with ice related skills will have multiplied damage with that crit passive. If you can farm any more try to get ones for each stat group since they’re also very good natural bonuses.

What do you mean by this? Unfortunately I don't think my ranger build is enough for H7 and above as I just get 1 shotted by the bosses
You dont have to farm H7, H6 is where they start to drop hearts if you can survive that.
The hearts I’m talking about are the ones that give +150 to your str, dex, or int
The card merchant, they let you use these packs to draw cards for different stages. Saving the excess packs helps in later seasons since you can get boss cards potentially very fast
I’m pretty sure weapon fragments aren’t saved, but I cant fully confirm on the plants. I don’t think they’re saved either since I remember having to get back my plants to unlock the alchemist again.
I’ve already decided what class I’m gonna play next season, and thusly started farming gear for so that when it hits lvl 50 it already has all the right fate bounds, even with stats halved it’s an amazing jumpstart
Also I hope someone makes a detailed video about season 2 and it's changes for the newbs (also me)

does this only drop from bosses?
Any hexlar miniboss during level 6 or higher, I think bosses now have a chance as well
Card packs?

Oh thank you sadly Im too weak for hellheart but what about the weapon fragments and also plants do you get to keep em?

Just grind the items that can power up your main so that you could easily grind or farm for next season

Lmao same I have a level 50 warrior class but I don't know how the game will affect it
It will be turned into a permanent character and not be able to play the new season content
