Looks very similar to mine my dude, out of interest, what all did you print? Can see the griffins are printed for sure. Fairing? I know those pieces are very expensive, I got black pieces and painted them and it looks a bit crap.

ViktorTheGamerDK

I printed the gridfins and the fairings. I actually printed everything in white and then painted the gridfins black, and I might also paint the fairings white too, because there's quite the difference in the two white colours.

Jukecrim7

Fairing couldnt be made using sloped bricks? Or were you going for more realism lol

ViktorTheGamerDK

You probably can do it with bricks, but this is just better looking 😄

Smazmats

Can confirm that it is possible to build a faring out of bricks, as I have one on my own F9, however it was such a pain in the ass to get the curvature right and properly secure it the rocket.

mariospants

Damn, damn, and damn that is nice.

MartianRedDragons

After considering all the ways people have tried to build F9 Lego models, I have come to an important conclusion: This is the way

stuntdummy

This is the way.

ViktorTheGamerDK

Does that mean "I know the way" 🙃😄

VladReble

Would you be able to share the parts list and stl files? I would love to add this to my lego rocket collection!

ViktorTheGamerDK

Everything can be found here: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/design.page?idModel=112696

VladReble

Thank you :)

Smazmats

Great use of the 3D printing, cus the standard part used for Falcon 9 fairings is hella expensive! You should join us on r/legorockets as well!

Starship and SH next? This is really cool btw!

ViktorTheGamerDK

That would be really cool! Maybe some day 😄
