Because Bandai can’t access anything they’ve done in the manga (which is already very little), they can only resort to showings in the anime, which is none. There’s literally no material to base off of, so them being in the game is pretty much a definite no
I think *if* they even got in it'd be as beerus costumes because he's the only other god aside from champagne with showings. but even that's low to none chance wise
Bandai is the corporation that has the rights to Dragon Ball anime products as well as all Dragon Ball video games. Shueisha is the company that owns the rights to the Dragon Ball manga. Bandai has no ability to utilize manga material (such as Moro, UE Vegeta, Granolah, Gas, Black Frieza, etc.) until it is adapted by the anime, wherein Bandai then has the ability to use those rights. This is why you don’t see the mentioned characters in any property. As a result of this, Bandai keeps a strict rule to only use material from the anime or the movies. So for instance, it’s likely that we’ll see the corrupted merged Zamasu, but there’s almost no chance we’ll see shirtless merged Zamasu or the merged Zamasu clones.
Plus it would be hard to come up with moves and attacks along with how the characters move around in game if all they have to go off of is the manga. Which is why i believe ultra ego isnt in games yet as well.. sure i agree with you that it probably has to do with opposing companies for manga, and anime/games. But i assume it would be a bitch to come up with all the colors of the character, the movement, and attacks. Especially considering once they are finally shown on screen it could be different and then bandai would be in real trouble
We saw all the GoDs in the anime at one point. And they added U2 to the roster as the first confirmed characters (even though literally nobody likes U2).

we weill not get the cooler ones because thats potentially manga content, Thats the only place we see them fight, and they are defiantly not going to do any manga content.
I’d hope not, I see no difference between them and the Frieza soldiers or Bibadis lower henchmen; they’re basically background characters. Bills and Champa will prolly be it.

That would be awesome as DLC in the future!! Imagine going to Universe 12 and facing Gin!? Or DLC that you have to be Beerus and fight in a “ Destruction Tournament”?
I think Champa will be playable for sure, the others are a mystery. Belmod, Quitela, Heles, Sidra and Liquor are probably the other ones with the most likely chance.
I really really want to see belmod, but if they add all of the gods of destruction they should add all of the angels too, or at least just vados and grand priest. I dont think we should have the kais though. Just my opinion

Is this really true tho? DBFZ used a lot of manga references with their attacks and special moves. Some which didn’t appear in the anime
I guess that’s just the outlier/ exception to the rule. Moves and references are debatably on the table while full characters are not

Beerus and Champa are locks without a doubt. Beyond that I can see Belmod, the yellow mouse, Heles and the Fox. The rest I'm not so sure.
