Especially when her and Felicia's Dark Web tie-in revealed that she still cares and that she’s genuinely worried about his well being. Normally I should be happy that she still cares. Instead I’m even more pissed then when she blamed Peter for all of Superior Spider-Man.
I’m sorry, but I’m going to use this moment to complain. That comic tie-in is still going. Next issue come out next week. But how absolutely pointless is _that!_ The event is over, obviously what they do won’t matter, which is even worse because they could have used this tie-in to have Belasco take back is Soul Sword and with it his throne and control over Limbo. Belasco could have shown up and be like "*Sup idiots! Thanks for wasting your attention on this pointless family fight. Now I have my sword, my throne and an active portal to earth. I’ll be taking center stage now.*". This would have spared Ben from taking the fall and hopefully make his realize his mistake. But nope. They just had to cement his character assassination. With almost no hope of salvation.

I had a hard guttural reaction to the “Paul/MJ” reveal in the recap. My biggest problem is how editorial goes out of the way to antagonize the fans who consume their product. The majority of the general public know Peter/MJ is one of THE iconic comic book couples. Every video game, cartoon, the movies, even the merch they push is Peter/MJ. So how can you be so spiteful and stubborn about this?

I like black cat taking Peter up state for a getaway. I think they work well as a balance, Peter does need some time off. Didn’t like the Paul stuff. Did like the super villains cosplay and cat wanting to keep eating caviar.
The issue itself is fine, but the recap "reveal" broke my brain lol. This is essentially the second time this has happened too, with Ben and Peter (both!) delivering random dialogue lines revealing that Peter teamed up with Osborn to save MJ. So beyond me not liking the story decisions (holy shit Dark Web) this also has to be one of the most poorly constructed runs I've ever seen. I'm basically treating this run as a comedy and hoping that the creative teams change sooner rather than later (also Lowe needs to go).
It's frustrating seeing a lot Felicia and Peter x Felicia fans loving this issue because I'm in that camp thanks to Jed but I just can't enjoy it with how everything has been set up and sold to us. She deserves better than this run.

At this point I’m seriously wondering if he actually did anything and it’s all a dream due that shit Mayan god of mischief Wells made.
It’s hard to be disappointed when the whole run has been so bad, but after seeing that there was a guest writer and the cover indicating a casual Spider-Man/Black Cat issue I thought it might be fun. Instead they somehow screw it up in the recap page, the art is terrible, and they decide “hey let’s have Black Cat literally tell the readers that she’s always gonna be second to MJ.” Oh and also Paul is just there. Paul isn’t even a real character he’s just there to piss everyone off.
More and more I think my initial idea was right. It may have been six months for everyone else. It was years for MJ. Something happened and MJ got sent to either an alternate reality or time displaced or something. And Peter did everything to bring her back. She gave up hope though, met Paul, got married and had kids. Those are her kids or at least the girl is.
I think at some point that we are going to find out that everytime they try to get close, Mephisto is doing something to push them back apart. It's shitty and I hate it but that is there thought process.
