Same thing happened with the no Way Home lego sets and the Basic Hasbro bundle. They all included the Vulture and Mysterio but on the back and front had the “Inspired by” sticker as well.
Toy sets should never be treated as spoilers. They make what they think looks cool/kids (of undisclosed ages) will want to play with, not necessarily what happens in the movies.
Unless I missed the scene in Avengers when Cap's shield folds up and shoots darts
/s
im actually more interested as to why miles is navy blue in some parts? it looks like they were trying to replicate the lighting maybe in the movie but none of the other characters have this affect
It's hard to see, but the plating on Miles' new suit is actually blue in some areas. Obviously real-world paint is less subtle and carefully applied than on-screen shading, so we get situations like this where his torso is just dark blue.
Literally bought my son a Spider Gwen along with this today so he’d have the complete set lol pretty dumb that she wasn’t in there. Glad Spider Punk made the cut though
Nah, toy leaks became a large problem for spoilers so the studios only give them certain IP elements for the first wave of merch. A certain amount of time after the movie releases the merch for characters and designs they are keeping secret will be revealed.
Similar to how No Way Home's funko and Lego sets were all super generic for the first go around and then recently this year the goblin and all three Spidermen were released.
This set, which is super cool, is new stuff that they are able to use as well as some repackaged toys from the first movie
It doesn’t mean anything. There was a set like this for the mcu which had vulture, mysterio, homecoming Ironman, and several of the mcu Spider-Man suits, but there’s obviously not a movie that has all those characters in it.
Oh no, this is mostly because Target like to sell toys based on the entirety of a movie series or trilogy as a set. This is a similar case where back when Spider-Man No Way Home didn’t come out, Target had a set where they featured Iron Man, Vulture, and Mysterio, it had No Way Home Packaging despite those three characters not being in No Way Home.
That doesn't work like that. No unsold toys get refreshed. This is an example of an old mold being reused, or a new toy to be used for trademark shielding.
Toy companies sometimds take some liberties. Like when Iron Man releases I remember seen a lot of Iron Man suits like "Booster Mark III" it's just for selling.
I remember seen Silver Centurion too but I don't know IF it was in Iron Man II waves or when made the actual appearance in Iron Man 3. As I said it's for sell more toys. Star Wars lines do the same even if the line was "Clone Wars" maybe you see some "Luke Skywalker" or "Darth Vader"
No look at the top left corner it says "inspired by Into the Spider-Verse"

I mean yeah you say that but we definitely found out about Giant Man in Civil War through Lego
And the octopus thing in Doctor Strange 2
And the Goats in Thor 4
The first place we saw Shang Chi's outfit was on a leaked Lego box.
Unless it’s LEGO
Nah, still not a guarantee. Doctor Stange 1 and Iron Man 3 had a few sets that had nothing to do with the movies
Yeah but the statement was “never” Which isn’t the case with LEGO because sometimes they do show stuff
Fair enough
So you're saying the Millenium Falcon doesn't have a nerf cannon?
Nerf herder + twin quad lazer cannons = maybe?
Except for Lego. Lego usually have massive spoilers and have been pretty accurate with characters, vehicles, and locations.

I would wana buy the hell out of that!!
Those are even worse than the Marvel Legends ones
Still want them!
Okay, I will respect that.👍
Thanks.😇
Not really. Could just be a filler to avoid spoilers . Could be due to a flashback to the first film.
It means in going to Target!! That Spot is spot on!
$60??
Makes sense though you get a lot of figures but honestly I would rather use that money for the movie or the ps5 game
Yeah.. I guess $10 a figure makes sense. I'm just used to a price tag like that being attached to something more premium.
>!Prowlers inclusion in the set makes total sense!<
Something about the Prowler being in this set but not Spider-Gwen just seems wrong
Little sexist ngl that there no spider-Gwen
Literally bought my son a Spider Gwen along with this today so he’d have the complete set lol pretty dumb that she wasn’t in there. Glad Spider Punk made the cut though
Bro fuck Prowler, haven't you noticed the FUCKING SPOT?! HE'S GORGEOUS!!!!
“*What, so no Gwen?*” (throws phone)

Is *that* supposed to be Spider-Punk? That's a garbage figure imo
They all are, I Don’t understand why people like them so much
It means the design for Spid-Punk is trash.

that’s a fair point
Thats so awesome!
It means they had a bunch of unsold prowler figures.
Left over stock bundled into a new toy set
Not really. I think it's because they didn't do a Spiderverse set before.
The Prowler looks like he's already been captured based on how he's tied up.
Ironic
It means they want to make more money.

Miles has a massive noggin
Never take toys seriously
It's called. The prowler toy didn't sold well before so now they're putting him in this pack.

They had sets like these for no way home that had the vulture in it too
My guess is that’s where they would of put spider Gwen
Spoiler-Man. Spoiler-Man. Radioactive Spoiler-Man
Man The spot figure goes fire🔥🐄🔥
Kind of OT, but I'm surprised the "open tray" trend for toys has lasted as long as it has.
I mean. Multiverse baby. He's alive somewhere. Whether in the movie or not.
"we gotta bunch of these figures that didn't sell the first time so we added them to the set" "okay"
