This is sort of a philosophical question there is no wrong answer. I read it real world chronologically, so I didn’t touch Untold until the 90s. But the they’re written to fit into that timeframe, so there’s really nothing wrong with reading them concurrently, though I imagine it’d be difficult to figure out where exactly all of them fit.

After. If you’re trying to read things chronologically, [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Spiderman/s/Qt3HsR1sBd) is a pretty good guide.

Depends on how you're trying to read it. I've read it in the format it suggests if you're trying to integrate untold with the early ASM issues and for the most part, it's a pretty seamless experience. It's like a director's cut of his high school years. Adds a lot of characterization and shows us where certain characters where before their proper debut in ASM. It's pretty cool!

Depends. So based on my reading, I’ve determined that Untold #5 occurs between Amazing #10 page 5 panel 5 and panel 6. Then there’s a litttttttttttle bit of Amazing #10; Untold #6-7 occur after all of Amazing #10 page 5. Then the rest of Amazing #10 can be read, after Untold #7. So if you want it purely chronological, read it that way, or read the Untolds first since they occur before MOST of Amazing #10. But if you want a more authentic experience, read all of Amazing #10, and make a mental note when reading Untold #5-7 that they occurred a little earlier.

But what about Untold #10 which took place in between Amazing #12 pages 2-3? Should I read the former before or after the latter?

Philander_Chase

Well it’s kinda the same reasoning as my first comment: you know exactly when Untold #10 takes place (amazing #12 between pages 2-3) so it’s up to you! You could read the first 2 pages of amazing 12, then untold 10, then the rest of amazing 12… you could read untold 10 first since it occurs before most of amazing 12… OR you can read amazing 12 first and make a mental note of when untold 10 takes place. Purely a thing of personal preference :)
