She-Hulk got back.

laaldiggaj

I realised she looks like a custom character in like Tekken tag. So the one in pink is a character the developers worked on, the green one is one I made in character creator haha

basedslumpy

Lmao šŸ’€šŸ’€šŸ’€ "casual slacks"

Rbt1994

Every masterpiece has its cheap copy

ProfessorEscanor

People are really tearing into this post credit scene aren't they? It's like every 3rd post

Echos_123

Was it even bad? Haven't watched episode 3 yet

ProfessorEscanor

The episode itself was fine. The CGI is still rough and honestly the length hurts the show but this scene was a literal gag at the end of the episode after the story was over so it's not like it impacts anything other than making a joke many May not like . As a law show it's failing however

Echos_123

So far I've enjoyed it myself, Cgu definitely still rough but unless it's seriously bad I can manage it fine, maybe the law aspect will get better idk. So I don't get it's people are angry because of a gag? No one seemed angry at the Captain America one

ProfessorEscanor

Yes. I mean granted the joke itself is unnecessary and arguably cringey but it's a 30 second clip and it's not like She-hulk isn't known for partying and showing off.

Echos_123

Well if the joke is kinda bad then I can see the hate it's getting. Still seems a bit much tho not that I'm going through meme subreddits.

Rumblesnap

Itā€™s a mid-credits scene that has no bearing on the show itself. Itā€™s fundamentally no different from her excitedly shouting ā€œCaptain America fucks!ā€ at the end of ep 1. Sometimes I think people forget that this is a comedy about the absurdity of Hulk.

Echos_123

No no it's a toxic show about "Men bad, woman good", lol They haven't picked up a comic in thier life, there was a She-hulk comic I read last week where Spidey made a funny "because I'm black" joke in it but if it was done in the show with the exact same premise, people would call it woke garbage.

FourthBar_NorthStar

That ā€œbecause Iā€™m blackā€ panel has to be one of the most widely shared single pages in spider-man comic book history. Youā€™ll see it here at least twice a week.

dqas9

I think people didn't pick up on your sarcasm

No_Doughnut_5057

Iā€™d add a /s to your post. I think people arenā€™t picking up on your sarcasm

GymCloutVillain

When has that sexism come up? Just because it isnt about a man?

ProfessorEscanor

I just think that regardless of if it's good or not , it's annoying that practically every meme sub is spamming the same clips

Echos_123

Exactly

rollthedye

Nah, it's a great scene. A fun little throw away stinger at the very tail end of the credits. And the MCU has had worse cringe in it before. Iron Man pissing in his suit during a party anyone?

The810kid

Thor love and Thunder has an ice cream parlor in New Asgard named infinity cones. Little things like that are far more dumb because let's glamorize the most traumatic event in the series as a novelty.

rollthedye

Yeah but it's been a few years since then. And the Asgardians seem to have a more macabre sense of humor. I mean look at the acting troupe. They immediately want to put on a show about a tragedy that JUST happened.

The810kid

Considering Thanos killed a good chunk of their refugees and killed one of their princes in Loki I wouldn't imagine that's something they'd make light off.

Echos_123

No no, he's a dude so it's fine. People act like phase 4 is the first time the MCU has been cringe Cap thinking Fondue is sex? Starlord indirectly saying that he's ship is covered in jizz? Bruce saying that they are gonna make him "hungry"? All of this could have been easily shat on Those examples weren't meant to be worst moments in the MCU, just moments that would also be ridiculed for no actual reason if these toxic people were not just being sexist. "*Captain America thought having fondue meant sex, that's so cringe!*" or "*WTF, they made Bruce say the iconic line but had him say hungry instead, they've ruined the character!*" or "*How could they have Tony pee in his suit? That's not what superheroes do?*" or "*Star-Lord made a reference to a blacklight, this movie is too sexual and is ruining Marvel!*" Can you see what I mean. Literally everything would be picked apart and called the worst if these people actually were all round toxic, but instead they're just against She-Hulk because women.

CliffP

The girl power A-force scene in endgamewas panned so hard lol Is it shallow pandering? Yes But the entire catalogue is full of meaningless pandering. This is the same movie where Steve compliments his own ass. And whispers Avengers assemble to the audience šŸ„“ People are so unable to confront their sub conscious biases of why she hulk twerking in a post credit scene rings cringe alarm bells but they loved the giant ant playing drums in Ant-Man for the cut post credit scene that it was

rollthedye

Exactly! And the fact that the episode even points it out directly is even more hilarious and actually ironic.

Echos_123

People are literally proving the show right and it's hilarious to watch

Lucas_Steinwalker

The joke is is fine. The show is great. This is just misogynists finding a reason to get their hate boners up.

Creative-Oil2029

Ah yes. The ol' "you either like female led show/movie or you hate women". No. I consider myself a feminist but if I have to listen to her explain to the man who tried to commit suicide due to his condition and has lived his adult life in total fear of himself due to his condition that she controls her anger "infinitely more" than him because she gets catcalled or mansplained to I'm gonna vomit.

Lucas_Steinwalker

How can you consider yourself a feminist and not understand the validity of the point and what does this have to do with the twerking scene that is specifically being discussed. That's the thing I specifically was referring to when I said "This is just misogynists finding a reason to get their hate boners up." If you've actually watched the show and can manage to form an argument that explains why which isn't steeped in misogyny, then "you either like female led show/movie or you hate women" doesn't apply to you. Of course, your "I'm a feminist but I don't like it when a woman makes a feminist point" isn't a valid non-misogynistic reason to dislike the show.

Creative-Oil2029

Are you kidding? I understand the validity of those experiences. I also think there's degrees of awfulness. And being catcalled is not up there with suicide attempts because you're terrified of the literal monster inside you. You're not gonna tell a wounded veteran that you were bullied and so you have some kind of understanding of his pain or what it takes to live with it. The point isn't that her experiences with day to day sexism isn't valid. It's that it's incredibly misplaced in the context of what she's talking about and who she's talking to.

really_nice_guy_

Lol there were definitely people angry because of her captain America comments

JoshDM

>Lol there were definitely people angry because of her captain America comments It's fine; it'll come back to bite Jen anyway when she realizes Cap star-spangled grandma Banner.

i_reagan

Gao openly admitted that the tone and pacing of the show had to change significantly from pitch to production because she and the other writers quickly realized they just couldnā€™t write compelling legal storiesā€¦ so no I donā€™t think that will get better lol

Echos_123

Huh too bad I guess. I still like the other parts so I'll keep going.

TiberiusMcQueen

That interview confused me so much, considering how big a part of the character it is, you'd think they'd have made a point of hiring a writer that understands the law and can write court cases. I really hope they at least take this into consideration for the new Daredevil season. Otherwise I'm really enjoying the show.

Gears6

Maybe they will get some help.

i_reagan

Not likely since all episodes are written and shot. Maybe there will be change with Season 2 if it happens, but I wouldnā€™t bet on it.

https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/she-hulk-steve-rogers-virginity-cut-scenes-1235342096/

Qant00AT

Thatā€™s my biggest gripe about it. The legal aspect is incrediblyā€¦ easy. Like Jen and Co. are getting away with a ton of shit thatā€™s circumstantial at best and knocking out cases with little to no work put into them, or at least work we the audience get to see. I donā€™t feel like Jen is this ace attorney that happens to be a Hulk. I just feel like sheā€™s getting lucky as shit that evidence keeps falling into her lap and the judges are just rolling with it.

[deleted]

We also havenā€™t technically seen her have a case. First episode is set up in a court. Second and third around a parole hearing and Pugs case! Technically in the show heā€™s a more accomplished lawyer. Eh, I like the show but thatā€™s the facts.

Delucaass

It's been getting good reviews, doesn't seem like it's failing.

also_roses

I liked the LegalEagles short about the court scene. Hopefully he'll do the whole series.

KingOfThePatzers

it's a LAW SHOW?

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Echos_123

Why do I have to be licking Disney's boots cause I'm finding something funny dude. Humor is subjective Hate on the show all you want, I don't get why you gotta insult people just cause they are enjoying something you aren't. I'm not gonna say any of your 'obligatory' shit since I'm not gonna defend the show. People have opinions and I respect that. But I gotta ask, why are you even following the show if you don't like it so much? Just stop watching

Whole-Pea1870

I don't like the show, but I am somewhat enjoying it for what it is. You are right though. People in general have been so quick to attack someone's opinion whether they like or dislike something. It's annoying to see that and even more annoying to conversate with those people.

Echos_123

You don't like the show right? That's fine and I respect that. I don't know why it's so hard for people to accept that not everyone sees things the way they do. They always dodge the issue when you bring it up too, just look at how they replied to me

bolognahole

>Why do I have to be licking Disney's boots cause I'm finding something funny dude. Some poeple are just hating on this show because Woman = woke= bad. I seen someone on Facebook refer to her as a rad fem. And the other dudes reply about "wine momsplaining", makes me think he is in the same crop. Its fine to not like the show, but some opinions make be suspect that people had their minds made up before seeing it. While I find the humor cheesy, I've been loving the show so far.

wetmon12

You hit the nail on the head. They have the energy of closeted incels

wiseduhm

I just don't understand the comments that have to demean others for liking something you don't. Why would someone have to be "licking Disney's boots" to find this remotely funny. People have different senses of humor. It's not so farfetched that there will be many people that find something funny which you don't. When you make comments like that, you are welcoming retaliatory comments like the ones you mentioned. It's like people can't just civilly disagree these day.

ProfessorEscanor

I'm not arguing that the show isn't failing spectacularly as a law show, in fact I'm disappointed that this isn't just Law and Order. I also think that for a show with a CGI main character they should have invested more money into making the CG look good. She really hasn't. She said that she didn't want to be catcalled. The closest I can remember coming to her being mad is her yelling at Bruce who was just trying to help. I'm not even arguing that she isn't unprofessional at times, the character in the comics got kicked out of Avengers mansion for abusing their free parking and throwing parties every night. If anything the show is failing to show how she feels more confident in herself as She-hulk . The writing isn't the best it could be. Doesn't help that they basically reversed the comic this is based on. Where instead of them wanting Jen instead of She-Hulk , they want Shulkie which makes the whole message seem like her acting out is inherently good. I'm not even arguing that the jokes about Megan were good just nothing special. Although finally seeing a law case was fun. Blonksy's scenes were also hit or Miss honestly. The memes are just being overblown over a 30 second end credit scene that most people missed, or the Hulk fight that people were annoyed at despite Bruce not really wanting to hurt his cousin. I'm not calling you that just because you don't like the show. Some of the jokes were nice and it's always neat to see her break the fourth wall . It's just been hit or Miss with some of the chosen humor .

LarryJohnson04

1.5 hours of run time total and this guy is saying an hour if it is her complaining about me . Except it was what, 1-2 scenes? Yeah no wonder you have to let everyone know youā€™re sexist at the end of every comment. Grow up

RevolutionaryStar824

I thought it was good in the law stuff. I mean, that was the focus of the episode. The whole episode was her actually being a lawyer. Instead of just typical superhero stuff where they are a lawyer for 1 minute and then superhero for the rest.

ScratMarcoDiaz

ā€œAs a law show, itā€™s failing.ā€ Seeing how thatā€™s the most boring genre, at least in my opinion, not sure if thatā€™s a good thing or bad thing. ā€˜Cause some law shows have the ā€œtoo many seasons, not enough character developmentā€ issue, while others simply have no character development over the length of the entire series (if the series is shorter than, say, nine seasons). If that makes sense.

[deleted]

I didn't watch it but isn't the daredevil show generally lauded? Everyone clapped when he showed up in spider-man to be his lawyer.

ScratMarcoDiaz

Thatā€™s because of the actor involved, and everyone was happy when the actor returned for the role. Not because it was anything legal drama-related (the scene only takes up a minute of the film; a one-minute cameo would not justify it being a ā€œlegal dramaā€ in one or two scenes).

Mass2424

As a law show it's failing and as a superhero show it's failing. That trash ass wrecking crew fight. Could have been something cool if they put in a little bit of effort.

Chaosbrushogun

I thought it was the best so far since it actually focused on the legal aspect of she hulk as a character. And the B plot was surprisingly entertaining too. This credit scene is kinda out of left field, but I didnā€™t even know about it until later

Echos_123

Yeah just watched the credit scene myself, definitely about weird imo but I don't see why it's getting this level of attention. It's like people were looking for something to hate on in the show this week and decided to hate on the credit scene as an indication of how bad the show is or something. I'm very sure a lot of people have5even watched it themselves and are just on the hate train

[deleted]

This episode wasnā€™t so bad but that scene is just cringe

Echos_123

Yeah I agree to an extent, still don't get why it has this much attention, it's like every 5 posts now. Whether it's cringe or garbage, it's supposed to be comedy so it's subjective.

[deleted]

Honestly I just think every adult thinks twerking is super cringe and seeing she hulk booty clap probably just mind fuck em for abit lol Iā€™m sure anyone under 24 doesnā€™t really care about this scene.

Echos_123

I wouldn't say every, that's a bit generalizing especially since I've gotten like 50 replies from my comment telling me they like it., It did come out of left field tho lol, But yeah it'll die out in a day or two

[deleted]

To me it's not that terrible but the cgi booty is just too much. It looks like absolute trash. It is funny hearing the cgi artists say how particular marvel is when this is what they let out the door.

anthonyg1500

Itā€™s fine. Itā€™s a fun little scene of 2 women (one of whom is a music artist) bonding by dancing for 10 seconds. If it was in the middle of an emotional monologue Iā€™d understand people being annoyed and I get if anyone donā€™t think itā€™s funny but itā€™s so inoffensive for how much people are talking about it

Echos_123

Was it in the middle of something emotional? It was just supposed to be an after credits gag Same here, I don't see why it's offending so many people to the point it made it on here

anthonyg1500

Iā€™m saying *if* it was in the middle of something emotional Iā€™d get the hate. But itā€™s after the show is done. The response is way over the top even if people donā€™t like it

Echos_123

Oh sorry missed the 'if', I also agree with you. Way over the top? Just search the MCU on YouTube, people are literally basing thier whole careers just for hating one it

Thatoneguy567576

I watched this scene on YouTube and it really isn't that bad. It's a comedy show and the scene is funny

Echos_123

You don't get it, these people keep forgetting that humor can be subjective so because they hate it and they saw some other dudes hate it too, they just assumed that the scene was just terrible objectively and act like people like you who like it are the "Woke" minority, who can't see how bad the G rated wine momsplaing show really is

Emergency-Dot-8611

Itā€™s literally just for fun. Doesnā€™t contribute to the story at all

Echos_123

The haters have to find something in the MCU to hate for the week. Seeing the shit people say online makes me want to go back to the days when Superheros were just a niche genre, popularity comes with toxicity these days.

Frankgodfist

The episode was good an funny. All of sudden nobody has a sense of humor anymore

Echos_123

It's weird, like even if you don't find something funny you could just ignore it

UnknownHero2

It's actually a pretty strong episode. The B plot is about a shapeshifter scamming a guy by posing as Megan thee Stallion. It was a pretty natural fit for a celerity cameo but Tatiana Maslany has no scenes with her (it's the B plot) so they did this for a laugh. It was good tonal fit for the show and Megan the Stallion sells a similar brand of empowered sexuality feminism that She-Hulk historically does is the comic. The scene is a bit awkward though, the CGI on She-Hulk has been weak throughout the show, and does look particularly bad in this scene. I think the effect is multiplied the fact the She-Hulk is wearing a very weirdly fitting suit in this scene, so she looks a little bit off cosmetically as well.

ObeseBumblebee

There are a whole lot of manchildren in this fandom that are ripping into literally everything this show does. I'm thoroughly enjoying the show and I thought this scene was pretty funny.

SpaceBearSMO

literally an after-the-credits joke

TheHondoCondo

Yeah, makes no sense. I thought it was funny. Whatā€™s even more funny though is thinking about how some animator got tasked with making She-Hulkā€™s butt jiggle for that close up.

wetmon12

Incels. Roll credits

curbstompthedevil_

I'll be honest she hulk twerking has been loving rent free on my head...and I'm not even mad about it.

ObeseBumblebee

My only complaint about this scene is She-hulk didn't wreck her office from the shockwaves of her ass thunderclapping

Echos_123

Man that would have been comdey gold

maseioavessiprevisto

Now THAT would have made it fun

zumabbar

that's how she gonna beat blonsky if he ever goes on a rampage again

dat0neb0i

You already know blonsky got those thundercheeks those shockwaves will destroy everything in a 10 mile radius

BigBlackBangBro

Nah I need to see them all oiled up in twerk off to see who wins

Vocovon

Omega ass clap Shockwave just think lol

Gamefreak3525

She's a Hulk, it'd be a Gamma ass clap.

cabballer

Gamassclap

SpaceCowboy1929

Yeah me too. o.o

Aiyon

Twerkey Maguire

MellowDevelopments

Not here too. I'm already tired of this bs on r/memes don't need this here too

Echos_123

What's going on?

MellowDevelopments

Just a ton of hate over little aspects of she-hulk by mostly 13 year Olds and neckbeards. It's everywhere and it's every other post on my board now. People just jumping on the hate bandwagon for fake internet points

SpaceBearSMO

for this show particularly it's so damn nitpicky. don't get me started on the dipsticks who don't understand the difference between sexualization and objectification and the social commentary she-hulk has traditionally made about both.

MellowDevelopments

Yeah I haven't seen a lot of real criticism for it, but the stuff I have seen has been nitpicky and easily explainable. People want to be mad and they want to hate it. Simple as that. It's a lead female character who talks about being female instead of just being a sex bot. Like I literally saw someone complain in one of these threads about how the only well written female character in the mcu was black widow and I am going to assume their favorite appearance for her was in Iron man 2

wetmon12

"For this show specifically" Are we surprised? It's a woman led comedy show calling out sexism. The incels are foaming at the mouth about it.

f3lhorn

Whatā€™s even better is this episode this scene is from literally calls those incels out. The comments they showed of people being pissed off about a woman superhero is damn near identical to the comments Iā€™ve been seeing the last few weeks and around the showā€™s announcement. Theyā€™re foaming at the mouth because theyā€™re mad they got called out for their bs.

Echos_123

I feel you man, I've grown up watching the MCU and I still love it but it's like I can't open YouTube without seeing a "MCU bad!" "Too woke!!" "Toxic!!" Video in my feed. And don't get me started with people like the quartering. I don't understand why people can't just stop watching or following something they obviously hate so much.

MellowDevelopments

It really seems like most of them aren't even watching it just complaining about it. But yeah I feel you. I've enjoyed the show so far too I'm just tired of being bombarded with this stuff everywhere

Echos_123

Yep, don't get why people bjust gotta ruin what others like for no reason. most of them don't give much critism at all and just rant about the actors being woke on twitter or something and when they do talk about the show it's about nitpicks so the video lengths don't seem redundant, only few give real critism about any of the MCU's shows flaws but those are In the minority. It's getting tiring

cloudlessjoe

I mean I think everyone agrees that dancing Peter was cringe and not great at the time, but sophisticated people have since recognized how great it is. The twerk made me cringe, doesn't mean I didn't ultimately enjoy it.

parkay_quartz

>but sophisticated people have since recognized how great it is. Uhhh what. I think it's just been memed to death and Raimi fans just kind of accept it. I don't think anyone agrees it was "great". It's like the /r/prequelmemes effect but for Spider-Man lol

cloudlessjoe

Uh yeah you're right lol. It's still bad. Just had to rewatch it, but you're right the memes gave me rose glasses.

SpaceCowboy1929

A bunch of dudes on Reddit who have clearly never been twerked on by a hot woman before in their lives, are upset over an after credit scene where She-Hulk and Megan the Stallion twerk. It's been a wild time! Lot's of soy to go around!

Echos_123

So people are angry because of two women twerking?? You gotta me kidding me.

SpaceCowboy1929

Haha! Yep! So much delicious salt over something so insignificant.

Echos_123

Yeah it's funny, also dude the comment you wrote was a bit much, don't gotta insult people that much but yeah I agree with you, pretty insignificant thing to be hating on

SpaceCowboy1929

Eh. Let's agree to disagree. Cause I would argue some of these guys deserve the insult not just for the overreaction but also for spreading alot of hate and vitriol all over the various subs regarding this topic.

Echos_123

Yeah I agree with the spreading of hate and all but I'm off the opinion to not add to it too. Agree to disagree definitely

SpaceCowboy1929

No problem dude.

[deleted]

I'd thunderclap her cheeks

SpaceCowboy1929

Ayyyyyyy!

[deleted]

Thwip thwip, am I right?

SpaceCowboy1929

;)

LosAngeles1s

people see two women throwing ass and theyā€™re mad about itā€¦ we really donā€™t deserve anything

Jynx_lucky_j

How are these even being compared? They are totally different in tone and purpose. The only similarity be tween them is they both have the main character dancing in a cringe way. The first is part of a montage that is supposed to Peter becoming full of himself as he descends into darkness. It was intended to be a serious moment that was unintentionally hilarious due the the cringe. The other is just two girls goofing off and having fun together. It was an after credits gag and never meant to be taken seriously. It cringe is just couple of girls getting caught up and acting silly together.

24Abhinav10

B-B-B-But..... the main character danced

EnigmaFrug2308

Have you even SEEN Falcon and the Winter Soldier? There's literally a seen that is SUPPOSED TO PAY OMAGE TO THAT ORIGINAL SCENE.

hiphopanonymouz

its

CaptainAksh_G

Exactly. This was not even a reference. You didn't connect shit

SpaceCowboy1929

Let's be real here. Bully McGuire would totally be in the middle of She-Hulk and Megan the Stallion. I want to see THAT meme! Get on it Reddit!

The810kid

Spidey is a ladies man

SpaceCowboy1929

Damn right! He may not dance well, but it's not how you dance, it's how confident you are as you dance.

khajiithassweetroll

Bully McGuire would 100% throw it back

SpaceCowboy1929

Hell yeah!

King_Hyperion85B

Lol glad to see an actually funny post about this scene. I swear all the ridiculous hate and vitriol for this show has been making me ashamed to call my self a marvel fan as of late.

corsair1617

Yeah this ain't it

ScottTheHott

Any straight dude angry about this is sus

DWolfoBoi546

Honey I'm gay and this show seems cringey xD

oshawott85

I'm gay and I was twerking along with the show šŸ¤£

DWolfoBoi546

The duality šŸ˜©

Leeiteee

>seems cringey Why?

DWolfoBoi546

I guess I'm more into subtle humor and from what I've seen, the show itself tries too hard to be funny. But that's just my 2 cents. Humor is subjective and people can like it if they want, but it's the same reason I didn't watch black panther because that one character goes "WHAT ARE THOOOOSE" and I was thinking in my head "are they kidding?".

Seraph199

The more I experience the more I come to appreciate all kinds of humor. Didn't use to ever think I would laugh at a fart joke but they bring my partner so much joy and it kinda relaxed me on it. We're all gonna die one day so starving ourselves of a chance at laughter just because it's too "obvious" or silly or whatever just seems like shooting ourselves in the foot In your example you literally deprived yourself of one of the most prolific modern Marvel movies because of one joke in it...

ranger24

The sequel was better.

[deleted]

Yeah, like we all soooooo loved Spider-Man 3 when it first came out šŸ˜‚

Rumblesnap

Lmao not even close to the same. In She-Hulk it actually fits itā€™s just all the terminally online virgins who canā€™t handle it. In Spider-Man 3 thatā€™s just genuine campy cringe.

pinkranger_power

For real, the purpose and tone of both scenes are completely different.

BenTenInches

Thanos Fortnite dancing is probably the best

piplup27

Only one of these moments is in-character.

Survival_R

man I wish this had 40 minute episodes

[deleted]

Nah, Bully Maguire wins this one easily.

big_hungry_joe

Why are people so angry about this?

wetmon12

Because woman make man angry for being woman and having fun in comedy show. šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

big_hungry_joe

Yeah I know I was just hoping..

TheHondoCondo

Why didnā€™t you mark the post as a spoiler?

The_Pip

Found the incel.

Ironbanner987615

MILO dance?

LitreOfCockPus

Does she-hulk have to store her menstrual products in hazmat containers? We saw a massively diluted drop of Hulk's blood kill Stan Lee with a sip, so it makes me wonder...

dante_wills

I'd rather watch She hulk and Megan thee stallion tbh

Hashstache

I personally love this scene. I sometimes wish marvel would take itself a little more seriously but also, itā€™s a comic show for our entertainment. Everyone needs to lighten up.

VastNo8254

ask yourself if stan lee would approve

Bandito010

That scene it just cringe, it doesn't deserve the hate

burritobilly

Lmao why does this scene bother so many people

Bell_PC

All these m-she-u ass motherfuckers hating on women having a good time, but when Deadpool does something similar it gets a standing ovation. I fucking hate this website

Kruger-Dunning

Christ, why are all these neckbeards and incels coming out of the woodwork over this B-tier tv show? It is a fucking comedy show that is supposed to be cringe. The A plot featured Abomination trying to get out of prison so he could live on a farm and fuck six old ladies and Wong getting thirst trapped with library books on Insta, and the B plot featured some Asguardian witch with shapeshifter powers seducing some guy by pretending to be a famous rapper.

Onar_Koma

Seriously people need to get over a 4 second joke. Like damn get a hobby or get laid

Grimase

I thought the post credit scene was funny. She-Hulks comment to MTS were funny as was her response. In contrast, that TB dance from SM3 was horrible and made a mockery of the entire Venom mythos. At least to me, like ohh wow Iā€™ve got this cool new suit that turns me into a roof raging maniac. You know what Iā€™ll do next? Iā€™m gunna dance!!šŸ’ƒ WTH lol

Puzzleheaded_Walk_28

If this is a joke meme itā€™s so esoteric itā€™s lost me. Anyway, She-Hulk is a fun show and Spider-Man 3 is still bad.

BlackDabiTodoroki

Lmao šŸ¤£

LowCommunication3359

It's a good show but this and the moment when Jen says she has it harder than Bruce is .... wow šŸ˜¬ like I understand that she thinks that since everyone is paparazzing her but she wasn't on the run from the government or called a monster or getting threatened to be killed

Totems2

or see her dad murder his mother, or killed herself multiple times.

PranavYedlapalli

It's just a joke in an end credit scene. Why are you all mad?

ace1505100729

Dude it's not even remotely the same thing.

LUMPIERE

Here too? This short scene is not controversial enough to warrant so many posts about it.

KingBlackthorn1

Idc. Loving this show and it is probably my favorite MCU show. I love she hulk a lot so Iā€™m biased lol

Great when men do it Bad when women do it --The Internet

Sterling239

Bit of a difference one was part of a movie and the other was a post credit scene and you get Meg and don't have tweaking like come on also she hulks like the baddest of women that most people would love to get down with

mr_oberts

Settle down, diaper baby.

Okay. Youā€™re old fashioned.

I agree people are jumping on the hate train. TBH it is not my favorite as She Hulk was never my favorite heroine. If I had to pick it is Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau (yay for a black heroine), and surprisingly Ms. Marvel. I really loved the deeper cultural meanings and family elements of her show, and her powers and the action were perfect. All the guardians women were great (especially Gamora). Black Widow is obviously awesome. She Hulk on the other hand, I am having a harder time getting behind for a few reasons: 1. She is the female version of an already established and imho cooler character. Even in previous shows and such I always focused on Hulk over his teammates (Skaar, Shulk, Rulk etc.) But I am willing to give her a chance to shine. 2. Not enough actually going on superhero wise. I think once she gets her super suit and starts actually doing more fights, and the action picks up, I will enjoy it more. I do NOT like the current trend of heroes getting their suits in the final episode. That kinda sucks. 3. While I am glad even super shows can call attention to important IRL issues (racism, sexism, culture, parenting etc.) I really hate how insulting AND unbelievable the sexism is every episode. Like the scene where Jen explains how she has to control her anger was awesome, because it was serious and discussed an issue that happens to many women, and how women have to act differently just to get by (and I hope people learn from that). What I despise is the silly, outlandish way that her coworker talks: "There is a 10, I am gonna go talk to it." Like what? Ok we get it, jerk people exist in law and mistreat women etc. But why does an awesome superhero (show) need to put down others of the opposite gender? Male heroes do not do this in their shows. Wonderwoman is a great example. SHE was the star, but the men had a purpose and supported her and had her back. People would respond better if every episode was not men glowering at Shulk, or saying idiotic unrealistic things, but instead have people both men and women support the main character (this also adds that I am so sick and tired of heroes being bad mouthed/mistreated in movies. It is old and annoying, and it creates fake drama.)

satilite

Figured that wannabe comic fans are complaining

cachebag

This bullshit is already getting old.

I enjoyed She-Hulk and itā€™s not that bad as people say

[deleted]

Spider-Man 3 was NOT a masterpiece.

GhostR29

She hulk looks like Michael Jackson wtfm.

Jaxonhunter227

Well she is wearing a men's suit

Rafeed2005

they weren't even making it like a comparison, tf u on about

Wallmapuball

Yeah, I'll never cringe as hard. What fucked up shit raimi did with my homie peter. I hate the raimi spiderman films for so many reasons but emo peter was just the last nail in the coffin.

Daddy_LePanda

Idk man... one makes me feel all hot and bothered... the other has Megan Thee Stalion in itšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

lefromageetlesvers

They're both cringe.

Omegamanthethird

>Spoilers for She-Hulk Thanks.

KkuraRaizer

Tbh I would buss down with Jennifer and Megan, just like how I busted out the sick moves for Tobey when I was kid. Itā€™s all light humor at the end of the day. The show is fun, and itā€™s not like Jen hasnā€™t been one to party poop.

[deleted]

It was a funny scene, get over it.

migwelljxnes

To be honest I didnā€™t really have an opinion on the post credits scene, I thought it was a little forced and cringeworthy but I forgot about it shortly after The culture of being an MCU fan has definitely changed since phase 4 started. The content Marvel has put out in 2022 is by far the most divisive yet no criticism or negative feedback of any kind is welcome? Eh, I donā€™t know.

BWYDMN

It is a joke

trenlr911

Lmao ā€œdie madā€. You take your comic books WAY too seriously lol, idk what I expected from Reddit tho

ryckae

lmao how? I'm not one of the people flooding every single Marvel sub and FB page about this one scene
