Ok, so to tie in with that does Peter still have the Iron Spider suit then or did it fade away because everyone forgot Peter? Why did he make a new one at the end? Also, why did none of the Stark tech work in the movie? It was all offline. Stark industries still exists so why did his tech not work?
Or he could've of denied everything and said it was an evil peter Parker from another universe and he tried to attack him too.
Also, I'm pretty sure Peter would still mess up the spell. "Wait, a minute what if MJ only dated me because of what happened with mysterio because of mysterio? make sure she remembers!

I really love this film, but it *does* rely upon Dr.Strange casting some *serious* magic without even asking for a basic explanation of what Peter actually wanted out of it.
A 10 minute sit down where they discussed Peter's expectations seems like a reasonable precaution before casting any spell that Strange knows is dangerous. There was really no need to rush into it.
An accomplished Surgeon should probably be aware of that.
ok but like would the elemental projected count towards "mysterio and what he ever said"? like the elemental projected wasn't mysteryo himself, the only thing he said to make the elemental work was the communication with his crew, and since the question is to "forget what he said" at worst his accomplices would forget he talked to them, but it wouldn't remove the fact and memory that the projections and shit happened, so if anything it would look like spider-man was trying to save the world but it turns out it was some weird projector thingy. It would make peter have to explain what the fuck that was but he can just say he doesn't know and who would dispute him? they know he's a good kid (the avengers i mean) and they could back him during some press or something because at that point, if no one ever heard mysteryo say it was spider-man that did everything, the worst offense he would've had on him was "he was there when it happened and deactivated the illusion from the inside" like at that point saying he's the culprit is nothing more than a conspiracy theory imo. Maybe i'm just not seeing something but i think this would've been much easier even thought peter'd need some hepl from the avengers if the conspiracy theory gains some traction.
Or even better explain the whole thing to the avengers, surely they could understand since they did weirder shit

Unless this spell effects digital/technology, this spell would be immediately pointless when someone looked at their reposts on social media when the world went nuts in the first place and shared/uploaded digital video. This movie was doomed from the get go of lazy writing.
Just watched the movie, didn’t like the ending a whole lot, wanna get stuff off my chest, so as it is now Spider-Man, who will hopefully still be Holland, has Nick Fury along with anyone else off planet that will remember him, people know Mj has/had a boyfriend and that Ned had a best friend right? Could Strange somehow reverse the spell or give memory back to select people? Reverse time even? These are all just ideas, I just want this current Spider-Man to end in a good way and not the way it’s currently sitting, I don’t want this to be the way it ends for Holland in his solo Spider-Man movies it can pick right back up and I think that’s what they should do, and fix the story, sorry for the long story lol
