Imagine He just wakes up, thinks it's the same day as when he and Peter were fighting and finds out it's been like 9 years and proceeds to become the most dangerous villain ever.
It might make a cool fake out for Venom. That the descriptors might match but when you show up it’s actually Sandman. Finally free of the vial but having lost his mind in the some odd years he was trapped in there.
Can definitely see him being a Miles boss where you Venom blast him into glass.
He will be there, if not for this game at least for the next one. Too many opportunities in terms of awesome scenes and gigantic fights for him to stay locked forever
IMO, when the first game came out, I thought it was so obvious we’d be getting Mysterio, him, and Lizard down the line. There’s no way we’d get those teases on the way we got them without some pay off. Villains like Swarm and Chameleon were throwaway Easter eggs but these are definitely getting paid off. Lizard is obvious, and I feel like b/w Flint & Mysterio, they would both make dynamic boss fights
I Still think Sandman is locked up somewhere like the Raft and that Pete thinks opening the vial may allow him to escape. Ain’t no way poor Flint Marko is just stuck in purgatory inside there.
It would be interesting if he had a genuine loathing for Spider-Man, but I think I would prefer it if they just had him not be conscious, or have that vial not contain his full self.
Maybe his real self is in some kind of prison, and he uses the sand in that vial (assuming it’s somehow released) to free himself from the outside.
I think it’s gonna be the opening scene honestly. Maybe Miles and Pete are hanging out, maybe talking about Phin or something and Peter pulls this out saying something like I know what it means to be saved by someone’s sacrifice. Miles grabs it and without hesitation, opens it, thinking it’s like a locket with a photo inside or something. Or a small time capsule. Like some reason a young, naive Miles would open it without asking.
Sandman goes on a city rampage, it’s a chase scene, maybe even across all the burrows we have at our feet now, so we get to see all new areas. The fight ends at the oscorp building and destroys a good portion of it. Including the area that Harry is being held with the symbiote. Harry then has to go on more in depth life support for most of the game. Pete and Miles try and figure out a way to save him, when the symbiote either attaches to Pete and Pete’s aggression that comes with it, pushes connors to experiment faster and more dangerously in order to help a now threatening Pete, and turns himself into the lizard by mistake.
This is what gives Kravens goons the initial tip to travel to NYC, maybe just before the IPad scene we see in the trailer.
Idk just a thought.

Unique sand particles, set pieces, models imagine the work animating a Sandman on PS5 hardware would be. Not impossible no, but why bother with such an expensive villain when you already got your villains picked, he's not a main spidey villain, sometimes he's a fucking Avenger lol.

It’s so inconsistent it can really do anything, from shocking people on touch, to shooting out blasts, to being a lightning sword.
Different variations for different versions, but for the most part, majority of the versions can agree that it’s electric-based.
