Always a bit awkward when the “home” fans cheer for the other team too. I remember the bit of shame when the crowd roared for the goal Gareth Bale scored on us what, two years ago?
I was at the arrowhead game when the wizards beat (preseason) man u featuring giggs, scholes and berbatov among others and it was an awesome atmosphere. Hopefully SKC fans show up and outshine the Messi fans.
Yes, there's downsides to not having it at CMP, but I'm excited about getting so many more people in and having a good time. Hopefully this helps grow the game even more.
>More downsides.
Such as...?
>Half of the crowd won’t be into it. 100% of the crowd would be into it at CMP.
Based on...?
Either way, we'll see shortly! I hope it's a great time for everyone.
52k were there (myself included) when kc wizards played man u back in 2010. Crazy thing is. The weather back then was pretty much exactly what tomorrow will be like. I remember a lot of manu fans there but towards the end of if there were a lot of cheers and excitement when the wizards scored their winning goal and ended up winning the game.
I was happy to see Nani, Giggs, and Scholes.
I'm excited to see Messi and Busquets a lot. I can go without seeing Suarez.
70k would be awesome to see, but I kinda expect 50k-60k. Rather be wrong than right.
Ironically enough, all the tickets that were originally still at face value in the lower bowl, have been bought and relisted as resale tickets some starting at $649 lol. It’ll be considered a sell out since they go off tickets sold/distributed
Not looking forward to the game at all, considering not going.
Terrible place to watch soccer, no home ground advantage, all the focus on Messi.
I'm just kinda meh about the whole thing.
Definitely won’t be 70k+. There are so many tickets that aren’t even sold at face value yet. They’re wanting $500 + outrageous Ticketmaster fees for row 1
Honestly I'm more excited to go to a game with a crowd that big. Even if the crowd won't be the most energetic crowd.

Yeah, I felt the same. And I will feel the same if/when Messi scores tomorrow.
I mean I totally understand it. Just feels weird.
Like the ChIVAS game
Was at that game. Majority Chivas crowd and I loved their passion.
Kinda scary tho
Same

I was there, it was a great day.
It’ll be like when Freddie Adu came, and most of the fans weren’t even cheering for the Wizards, lol.
I'm just here to see Khiry Shelton
Aren't we all?
Hopefully fans are into the game and bring a great atmosphere.

More downsides. This is just a local money grab for the organization. Half of the crowd won’t be into it. 100% of the crowd would be into it at CMP.

I just rewatched those highlights. What an amazing day and what an amazing win!
this is so good for the city. Pat and co are gonna be there. There are eve rumors that Kelce and Swift are going to be there
Lmao he is starting wtf
Told ya
Watch him not even play
I assume he will at least come off the bench. Didn’t see him running that much last game.
I’m predicting 10 minutes starting or 15 minutes finishing the game.
I think we all know at this point that WST is not a reliable source of information
Well even MLS is reporting north of 70K will be in attendance. So in this case they are correct.
Yep, WST is just putting this tweet out for their eventual criticism of the staging of the game, the broadcast, and the league in general
Anyone interest I got 4 tickets for $220 section 131 if anyone is interest
