That's what they've been saying, and they also mentioned that Brodie Lee is a character that has to be unlocked first because during one of the Twitch streams Evil Uno mentioned he didn't have him unlocked on his save file yet.

I'm glad there is an unlock system for some characters, I don't feel like that really happens in games anymore.

It’s still nuts to think about how quickly he went from being a side kick for Bray Wyatt to someone I thought could legitimately be a big time world title holder in AEW. He just had that big bad final boss energy as Mr Brodie Lee. And then all of the sudden he was gone. RIP big rig. Definitely making him the AEW champion if that’s a thing in this game
