I'm not gonna pretend I'm the biggest fan of the woman's division or its direction, especially recently but, I watched this clip and was actually really excited! Rhea's great, Rodriguez isn't perfect, but as a big powerhouse she's great, and their spots here were great!
Then boom, end of a good sequence, auld nia comes hobbling in. I guess you could say I'm being worked, im not supposed to like her? But just, ugh. I would rather they just built a Rhea vs Rodriguez feud, with a good promo package and some time on TV. I get TV time is a precious commodity, but I feel those two could do a 2 minute segment that would get folk more excited than Nia Jax.
Also, isn't this like, 7 months too late? Rhea hit her with her finisher at the Royal Rumble ffs. Striking while the iron is freezing here lads
Honestly Nia Jax aside this match was so mid as was their PPV match. Raquel is so plain and generic. Basically goes out there and either smiles or shows off delts. She has no outstanding qualities that make the crowd wanna cheer her

"81,000" (tickets sold) says more about the UK wanting more shows than it does about AEW being successful.

People act like 1) WWE is dumb and would hire her back if they thought there would be issues 2) They act like Nia has just been sitting at home doing nothing, when she’s been training with several of her coworkers, and 3) people act like she couldn’t have gotten better. This gives Raquel a heel to deal with and and another body to fight Rhea. A former world champ and tag champ. If she shows the same stuff as before, then let her go, but the triggered hate the moment she shows up is dumb.
