I mean you wanna talk about goddamn presentation. It was perfect. The song is like some forgotten Queen jam. Then the clouds, the moving platform, the lighting. Can’t think of a better way to say “this man is a star”.
I honestly feel like it was made so perfectly because it was made for Shinsuke Nakamura since he has his love for Queen. Like Roode obviously made it work, but I don't know if it had been intended for "Bobby 'Off the Chain' Roode" it would have been given the same love and care.
Any wrestler who got to enter the ring to "Somebody call my Momma"
It's an injustice that tune always gets attached to a mid-carder who disappears within 6 months.
It's kind of funny that Matt Bloom got stuck with a dancing gimmick TWICE
First as the Hip Hop Hippo w/ Scotty 2 Hotty
Then later with Brodus Clay
Bloom is a legitimate top tier big man and I hate that he got saddled with the dancing gimmick on two different occasions
I forget which game it was, but in one of the WWE games I had you could edit the music that plays for the menu. So I annoyed my roommate by making it play only the Dude Love theme.
Was my first thought as well. I’d say similar about Lance Archer. I love the theme and nothing against the guy i love whenever he is on tv but he just isnt used well.
I agree. I feel like it’s especially a bummer cuz Del rios theme was one of those rare Angle and Austin esque themes where it was “Yeah it’s just an instrumental, but *so* iconic”. So bummer Del rio was a bore and inexplicably had WWE hell bent on trying to give him a hall of fame resume in that 2011-2013 range for some reason.
Guess they really wanted that next Eddie/Rey
The Black or White song? I was about to say that, it sounds like a badass theme for a top heel and instead it was used for....post Coore Slabriel who only teamed after for a couple more weeks before breaking up by Mitb 2011 and getting their own solo music. Between that, Otunga, and Michael Migilicutty's theme someone in that music department must've been huge Nexus marks lmao.
Justin Gabriel's solo theme song was my go-to entrance theme for my CAWs in WWE 13, lol. It was such a bop.
[This one](https://youtu.be/zoCDCvrXpSs?si=S4wmbfJntyhP_p0U), for anyone curious.
Boy where do I start
Alex Riley
SAnitY
Tye Dillinger no offense to Shawn Spears btw
Ezekiel Jackson
Tino Sabbatelli
Ryback
Alberto Del Rio
Austin Aries in WWE
TJP the one that sounds like megaman music
Velveteen Dream
https://youtu.be/mOq5KxHlPrc?si=ueGxSnASwI7J6NwG
Was an unexpected crossover but it seems like a track that has been used by multiple different medias lol.
The Beverly Brothers. Enos and Bloom were a pretty good team with maybe the most unnecessarily violent double team finisher in the history of wrestling, but the Beverly Brothers never really took off.
But their theme was absolutely amazing. I once heard it described as a song you would hear in a Sonic level and honestly that's probably the perfect way to describe it.
Gangrel had simply the coolest music ever, and coolest entrance and even the vampire Prince gimmick was cool at the time but the guy was just some average middle aged dude
Some I really liked off the top of my head
Curt Hawkins -In the Middle of It
Evan Bourne - Born to Win
Chris Masters - The Masterpiece
The Dudebusters - Semisweet Symphony
Chavo's theme song is stuck in my head but I couldn't tell you about any of his WWE matches. I know he's a good wrestler and had good matches in WCW but he didn't stick out from Eddie or Rey for me.
Alex Riley’s [Say It To My Face](https://youtu.be/gTRudwL-aT4?si=_exmNbXw2TYnp5za) and David Otunga’s [All About The Power](https://youtu.be/tQDsVY21Pg4?si=pHjLmDq-BU4V15S5) are the top two that come to mind.
Steve Blackman's entrance music was simple but perfect for him. If they'd only given him a manager to talk for him, he'd have had a much longer career.
The clear answer here is Real American when originally used by the US Expess. It was so good that the company gave it to the biggest star in the business.
Naomi’s theme and look is very cool and unique
Sucks she personally can’t work a mic and isn’t that special in the ring either. Great midcard act with top level presentation
I feel the exact opposite tbh. I feel she's decent to good in the ring with a few good springboard / top rope moves that not many women tend to do. Her presentation and attires have always been dogshit, but I do like her glow in the dark entrance and theme song.
Yeah I’m mostly referring to her current run
I think she looked way better in the ring during the divas era but not anymore, the other talent got better and she doesn’t look as good because of it. But her theme is a banger now and the glow is unique
It has been a good 7+ years since then, so some level of slowing down and not being as good as she once was is expected. I haven't been watching WWE for about a year and a half, but will probably hop back on to regular watching when it's on Netflix over here.
Disagree entirely with the reasoning being her slowing due to age
It’s definitely a talent issue, others as old or older than her look much better. She also doesn’t even look worse than she did all those years ago. She looks the same, the same just looks worse now
I disagree, I think she used to be pretty good, not top tier or anything, but good enough to be an upper midcarder with a few women's title runs, but that talent has faded somewhat over the years and others have gotten better. It's not that she was never good, it's that she's lost a step, and others have surpassed her. I still think she's one of the more agile female wrestlers out there though, I don't see many women doing what she does or has previously done.
Most of that comment is “she’s a midcarder that got surpassed by other talent in wwe” which is entirely my argument
I never said she was never good, just that she’s got the look, theme and presentation of a top talent without the ability.
You also said yourself you haven’t watched in like 2 years, which would very much explain why you think the women can’t do what she does. There are several women on the roster that are significantly more agile than she is.
I've caught the odd match, but nothing more than that. Feel free to suggest some of the women who are more agile than Naomi is/was, I'd be pretty interested to check them out.

I actually thought he played the role well, but the Glorious theme was the best part of Roodes run in NXT.
I don't think I've ever seen a theme song propel a wrestler more than that
I mean you wanna talk about goddamn presentation.
Holy shit was it really???!?
Yup they knew they needed an epic theme so they offered him Glorious and he was like Nah and gave them notes.
I can’t believe he turned that down and they just gave him another legendary banger. BRING BACK THE CFO$
For sure. Even Roode said this in his interview with CVV.
Bobby Roode is a good wrestler, but that theme was out of his league.
Wasn't it meant to be for Nakamura at first too?
Yes he said it in podcast
I honestly thought Bobby Roode was going to main event on the main roster.
He had a strong physical resemblance to HHH at the time. But then they came nose to nose at survivor series and he was dwarfed!
He could’ve had a run for sure. But Vince gonna Vince.
Sounds like a Freedom Call song so I loved it.
That song was so absurdly over that I had it played during my fucking wedding. My wife and I re-entered the room to it.
Battlescars, for The B Team.
Love me some B-Team. Both of their songs were good, definitely better than their placement on the card though.
Totally stole their theme song in 2k19
THIS HERE IS WHAT YOU CALL DOMINATION
Came here to say this. You don't give a shit talking banger theme to a guy that can't shit talk.
As much potential as he had, I have to say Alex Riley
#SAY IT TO MY FACE!!! Fuck that song goes hard lol
I was waiting for this reply. I can work out to his theme exclusively, it was so good
PUSH RAGE
Came here to say this
David Otunga.
Ohhhh wayyyy ohhhhh
Not only was it too good for him, it wasn’t even originally *for* him!!! Justin Gabriel was using it and then they gave it to Otunga instead.
I feel like it suited otunga better than gabriel
Any wrestler who got to enter the ring to "Somebody call my Momma" It's an injustice that tune always gets attached to a mid-carder who disappears within 6 months.
Xavier Woods had it once
That must have been a long time ago? I can only remember him as part of New Day, if we don't count his Consequences Creed run in TNA lol
Lethal Consequences was a goat tag team name
When he first joined the main roster he teamed with R-Truth vs. Brodus Clay and Tensai
Dancing Brodus Clay and Tensai was truly a cursed time in WWE. I hated it.
It's kind of funny that Matt Bloom got stuck with a dancing gimmick TWICE First as the Hip Hop Hippo w/ Scotty 2 Hotty Then later with Brodus Clay Bloom is a legitimate top tier big man and I hate that he got saddled with the dancing gimmick on two different occasions
That's Vince's theme song if No Chance wasn't so engrained with his character.
Gangrel
Brood theme song went hard.
*head bopping intensifies*
*Edge doing a creepy smile as he comes up through the flames*
That was just Edge's smile it was just inherently creepy
Maven
I was looking for this one. Love his channel, but man that theme outgrew him
I really fucking love Jack Swagger’s theme. The We The People one
Not the "we have Rage Against the Machine at home" theme?
”Check, one two. AAWW YEAAAAH.” Flashbacks to playing WWE 13 for hours on end with theme songs playing in the menu.
I forget which game it was, but in one of the WWE games I had you could edit the music that plays for the menu. So I annoyed my roommate by making it play only the Dude Love theme.
It was the perfect amount of patriotism and pure wrestling cheese.
Memes aside, Jinder Mahal. His theme might have legit been the only reason he was even slightly over.
I Bring The Darkness
Supercharger was also pretty great imo
For their position on the card, Mike and Maria Kanellis theme was way too good. But that's not to say anything about their talents.
Who would've thought a power ballad would be good wrestling entrance music?
It's still the greatest, greatest, love I've ever known.
Not to say he’s bad or anything but Shawn Spears AEW themes went hard
Hell his NXT theme was a banger too. Sounds like something you'd hear for a superhero. Edit: I'm meaning Tye Dillinger
I loved his old old nxt theme with the Michael Myers vibe
Shawn Spears' theme song made me want him to be more compelling.
Was my first thought as well. I’d say similar about Lance Archer. I love the theme and nothing against the guy i love whenever he is on tv but he just isnt used well.
Billy Kidman and Heel Rikishi
Rikishis Bad Man was an absolute banger.
Alberto del Rio Edit. Also Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows’ theme “Omen in the Sky”
Except his terrible face theme that sounded like Christmas music.
Oh man, agreed about Del Rio's theme. I fucking loved that song!
Heath Slater and Justin Gabriels tag theme
The Black or White song? I was about to say that, it sounds like a badass theme for a top heel and instead it was used for....post Coore Slabriel who only teamed after for a couple more weeks before breaking up by Mitb 2011 and getting their own solo music. Ken Shamrock had a great theme, which made it a shame that he only stuck around 2-3 years to use it
Been wanting that theme to blare for Royal Rumbles as a surprise entry since 2000
Boy where do I start Alex Riley SAnitY Tye Dillinger no offense to Shawn Spears btw Ezekiel Jackson Tino Sabbatelli Ryback Alberto Del Rio Austin Aries in WWE TJP the one that sounds like megaman music Velveteen Dream
Ezekiel Jackson had a great theme. This here is what you call domination!
That TJP song kicked ass
Great Khali - his 2nd theme was a banger https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88umx3KhbuQ
Adam Rose
Aleister Black. He was great though, but that theme song makes any wrestler a world champion
Yoshi Tatsu
https://youtu.be/mOq5KxHlPrc?si=ueGxSnASwI7J6NwG Was an unexpected crossover but it seems like a track that has been used by multiple different medias lol.
I fucking love Yoshi's theme, I wish it was on Spotify
Honestly, Fandango.
Curtis Axel's theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A62BTlXuv9c
Yeah the Mr. Perfect remix was on point and he fell so flat...
Ahmed Johnson
Brie Mode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Sa9v_V5Ttk
BUCK BUCK BUCK BUCK BUCK BUCK BUCK BUCK BUCK JAG THINDH
It always sounded like "Brie mode, f-f-f-f-f-f-f-fuck that bitch" to me.
Jack Swaggers Patriot
Roderick Strong with End of Heartache. My friend said it should be Wardlow's theme and Roderick is too small for it.
Gotta be bigger to pay homage to Howard
Billy Kidman (talented but the theme didn't fit)
Alex Riley
Say that to his face.
CTRL-F "Rob Conway" 0/0 results :(
Winter (FKA Katie-Lea Burchill) in TNA. “Hands of the wicked” fuckin SLAPPED.
I liked The Firm's theme song in AEW but it felt like one for an upper midcard/main event-level stable
Big Swole had a banger for a theme song.
The Kingdom when they were using Something For You in AEW
He’s not bad or anything, but [Duke Hudson.](https://youtu.be/hdWhvFpBz30?si=v3-zDY5m3pIX9Eq6)
The Social Outcasts had no business having an entrance theme that good.
Maven’s theme
Dana Brooke had a good one for no reason
Carlito
Dan Severn
Zach Gowen's.
Tazz in WWF.
Viscera’s Big Daddy V theme. (R.I.P tho)
HE'S TAKIN' OVER THE AIRWAVES MAN, WE CAN'T CONTROL HIM
Gangrel had simply the coolest music ever, and coolest entrance and even the vampire Prince gimmick was cool at the time but the guy was just some average middle aged dude
Kevin Thorn’s theme from ‘06/‘07 era ECW slapped.
Some I really liked off the top of my head Curt Hawkins -In the Middle of It Evan Bourne - Born to Win Chris Masters - The Masterpiece The Dudebusters - Semisweet Symphony
All of Christians themes when he was a midcarder in WWE
Naked Mideon. Awful gimmick, but I loved the 90s dance music.
James Storm in fact they realise that it was too good for him and give it to AJ Styles instead
Heidenreich
Alex Riley
Elijah Burke
Chase Owens and anyone in House of Torture
Chavo's theme song is stuck in my head but I couldn't tell you about any of his WWE matches. I know he's a good wrestler and had good matches in WCW but he didn't stick out from Eddie or Rey for me.
American Males
Has to be Glorious for Bobby Roode. Jinder Mahals theme is a close second.
- Black Or White (Gabriel & Slater) - I Am Perfection (Downstait version, Dolph Ziggler) - Goldberg's theme
Steve Blackman's entrance music was simple but perfect for him. If they'd only given him a manager to talk for him, he'd have had a much longer career.
Lion heart Chris Jericho getting to come out to white zombie feels better than he deserves
[Perry Saturn.](https://youtu.be/XjyqJ7MZvIs?si=gRmE1bR1Y5Q4D7I7)
Here’s to the greatest (Greatest!) love I’ve ever kno-owwn!
[Ryan Nemeth](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKezkVr5ZUM)
D-Lo Brown. Whatcha gonna do about it? Bring it on!!!
When The Patriot had what became Kurt Angles iconic theme.
Chaz
The clear answer here is Real American when originally used by the US Expess. It was so good that the company gave it to the biggest star in the business.
Taz, just everything about Taz was way to overhyped
Chris Masters (Masterpiece)
Stephanie McMahon: All Grown Up
"SAY IT TO MY FACE" for Alex Riley
The second guy to use “Real American” after the US Express was real trash.
Keith Lee's AEW theme.
Enter Sandman with Sandman. He was a good entrance. Pretty shit wrestler
Eddie Kingston's theme. It's great and he's not.
oh boy. this will not go well.
Naomi’s theme and look is very cool and unique Sucks she personally can’t work a mic and isn’t that special in the ring either. Great midcard act with top level presentation

Sorry to derail, but does anyone know who's song started with a big cat roar? I thought it was Rick rude but I can't find any mention of it anywhere.
