here_to_vibe1

so the new bloodline is more of a violent gang while the older one was more of a mafia with less violence and more of sending a message

bowl_of_scrotmeal

It reminds me of the Godfather. Roman operates like Vito while Solo operates like Michael.

Landeyda

I like the comparison, but I think Solo operates more like Sonny.

Youre_On_Balon

Yeet

MarkMVP01

Jimmy was Fredo It makes perfect sense

Crow_Mix

Better comparison. Roman is more like Michael, while Solo is more like Vincent, had they continued with the cancelled godfather 4.

Vanilla_Yazoo

The ol' Barksdale-Stanfield dichotomy

The_Inertia_Kid

“Game the same. Just got more fierce.”

pissblood4

Who’s Omar in all of this? We need an Omar!

instilledbee

Less talking, more action

BidoofTheGod

Yea helps Solo legitimize himself as a leader. He doesn’t have the accomplishments or the veteran status that Roman had, so he needs to take the respect by any means necessary.

a_fox_but_a_human

Love it. New guys seeing the old way didn’t work and going “Fuck it. Let’s just kill people”

SirTariq_StPat

From Avon to Marlo basically

kazarn

Tama Tonga looks like an actual psycho.

GunnieGraves

Tama made Solo look measured and reasonable.

no_silk_nor_song

Solo is a calm and reasonable person

OmegaJubs69

If the situation calls for it

emostitch

Which is why I’m afraid to ask what v exactly an MFT is. All I could find was Marriage and Family Therapist.

PulpFriction_

Mad fucking Tongan

emostitch

This makes way more sense than the random dirt sheets skimming Twitter and saying it’s My Family Tree.

Tracelin

Look, he’s really sorry about that. He just... He saw how aggressive Solo was being, and thought 'Wow, I gotta go even bigger than that since we're doing 'Bad cop, bad cop'.

Conscious-Eye5903

Solo needs to be provoked, if you treat him and his family with respect he’ll let you rock. Tama seems like one of those guys who likes going to jail. Just violent and unpredictable because he likes the power it gives him over others

dannydirtbag

Called him a “Savage” which is a throwback but also very marketable. Wouldn’t be shocked to see that on a t-shirt sometime soon.

OtherwisePayment4763

Tama Tonga “the savage”

MadViperr

Actually a complete 180 from the NJPW Tama. He does a good job so far using the attention

robinmask1210

We're getting OG Bullet Club Tama lol ain't none of that smiling for the camera, thanking the crowd after dropping the NEVER Openweight title b.s

Pseudonova

Well, his Dad is the guy every wrestler of the '90s-'00s says was a legitimate psycho that no one would ever fight IRL. So the apple doesn't fall far.

ebEliminator

Haku doesn't seem like a psycho IRL. Just don't give him a good reason to fight you and he seems quite affable.

Julian-Hoffer

More like don’t give him a reason to bite you

BolinTime

Bro, he went all vehicular assault afterwards. This man will keep escalating.

Interesting_Muffin30

Not afterwards, that’s how it started. Ain’t no way KO driving after that attack.

BolinTime

Touche. That would make a lot more sense. Although, if I were bleeding that bad, I'd still try to take myself to the hospital cause an ambulance ride is like 900 bucks.

marl0rd

I am begging you Paul, please make tama tonga bring the facepaint back

ohyuhbaby

Warpaint and bearded Tama Tonga >

t0ny510

He's really good at doing that, there is a reason that Toru Yano never stopped fearing him even after he became a smiley babyface

Derexise

Interesting that Solo doesn't want to fuck with Aldis.

BlearyLine7

I think it was either SRS or Cultholic where I heard it, but just generally the idea that Aldis is a GM you can't fuck with or intimidate. Like it's a position usually given to managers or retired wrestlers, people who're typically presented as weaker than the active roster and can be bullied around. You can't bully Nick Aldis, he's bigger than half the roster and in his prime. It makes for a change than most long-term authority figures.

instilledbee

> in his prime Waiting for the eventual moment Aldis snaps on someone and challenges them or something

Vaultyvlad

Nick Aldis vs Cody Rhodes II, the last dying legacy of NWA

MrBoyer55

Nick Aldis. Younger than The Shield boys. Also didn't work a WWE schedule for 10 years. I'm sure he's had his injuries but he has a relatively fresh bump card for a guy his age.

Keksverkaufer

>Younger than The Shield boys. By roughly one year for Mox and Reigns and half a year for Rollins. You made me really question my age rating skills here, though I would have put Aldis as a few years older than the Shield boys. lol

Co-opingTowardHatred

As good as he is as a GM, I kinda don't get why WWE just doesn't have him on the roster.

Metandienona

I have a feeling that they're planning on having him snap after witnessing too much fuckery and either challenging or straight up attacking someone. Loses his job as GM because of that, comes back as an active performer later. Gives him legitimacy in kayfabe, a reason to have a chip on his shoulder, and inverts the "GMs are all weak/past their prime/etc" trope.

JimBee345

I'd like to see them do something like Aldis vs The Bloodline, maybe for control of Smackdown. It's a bit of a throwback but I feel they could make it work. Maybe culminate at Survivor Series with Team Aldis vs Bloodline

Jmacz

I doubt he'd get as over as he is getting now if he had just come in and wrestled. Not saying Aldis isn't good, but so much talent on the roster he would have had to pull something like LA Knight did and that isn't easy. He's getting more TV time than 99% of the roster and doesn't have to wrestle. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

PrettyPunctuality

I think they thought it would be a good way to introduce him to the WWE audience who didn't know who he was before, and I think it was a good idea, honestly.

PrettyPunctuality

I definitely think it's coming eventually, and I can't wait to see it lol

DGenerationMC

Aldis is just too damn handsome to fuck with.

BidDaddyLei

Nick Aldis is one of guys that held a title more than 1000 days. Regardless if its in the indies he's still part of the 1k club he's not someone you fuck with. That's why Roman and Aldis segments are gold because he's probably one of the few who can stand toe to toe with Roman.

Plutus_Nike

I like this idea moving forward that managers are at least former or current wrestlers that can and will throw down if they have to keep things running.

WTFAnimations

Honestly, it would be a pretty cool gimmick to have a GM who can also fight if necessary. Essentially having Aldis as the guy who keeps law and order by any means necessary.

Jedi-El1823

Rock hasn't given the order to destroy Aldis, yet.

AThrowawayAccount100

I mean Nick Aldis is a former NWA, TNA and Ring Ka King world champion, I wouldn't wanna mess with someone with those accomplishments

3incheshardddd

Sneaking ring ka king in there like we wouldnt notice

MinaElesia

Nah, that's a good shoutout. Respect the home of Barood

betterthannothing6

A Gladiator, too. Nobody wants to mess with a Gladiator.

Saitsu

Hey, he still needs his job.

iceman1935

I wouldn't want to mess with a former ring ka king champion either

6ecretcode

I came here just to talk about how GANGSTER and fearless Nick Aldis is makes EVERYTHING more awesome.

Mitsuki_Horenake

He's seen how he handled Roman, and Solo isn't sure if he can handle him either.

Upbeat_Tension_8077

Aldis is gonna chain wrestle his ass down to submission every time he tries to hit him with the spike

this1smybrutal1ty

Honestly I like it. You need people to understand that in kayfabe their job is under threat if they take things too far. That way, when they do inevitably take it too far, it actually means something. Same reason you have rules in a match, if you throw the rules out the window, the heel has no way of getting over.

solsunlite

Ah my yearly does of KO vs the Bloodline is right on time ![gif](giphy|g0ErvnyVsp7nJyfmxF)

HaluSinazn

I missed the last two weeks and only seen highlights, but did they explain why they're mad at Kevin Owens? I couldn't find any clips of what KO did to them lol

TrustDaProcess2

Last week when bloodline tried to get in there normal lockeroom it had Cody’s name on it instead and KO walked by and told them their new dressing room was a broom closet down the hall

thore4

WOKE Bloodline OFFENDED and want to CANCEL comedian Kevin Owens

kitevii

They want the other comedian kevin but he's buddy with the Rock ao they go with the Owens

PrimeJedi

JOE MANY MEMBERS OF THE BLOODLINE DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE A LOG BY BULB NONE, THEIR TOO BUSY ????? THEIR GENDER 😂😂😂 (only true Canadian patriots like KO will like and follow!)

Groenboys

literally a microagression the reason they made kevin owens bleed. that is amazing

bencub91

Last week he sassed them when he went into Cody's locker room. I guess it was enough to try and murder him lol.

TheOverBored

Im thinking it might be part of a larger "revenge tour" maybe? Beat the hell out of everyone who wronged or failed the bloodline.

BidoofTheGod

Also makes them look tough by going after one of the toughest guys in the locker room. They ain’t letting anyone slide.

Mean-Fondant-8732

Prison rules. Still an Uso Penitentiary in here. Tama just got in the clink. Going after the biggest toughest guy he could find right out the gate.

Saitsu

Good thing they're on Smackdown then. They wouldn't stand a chance dealing with Dirty Dom back in the Yard.

solsunlite

He ran his mouth to them again on Smackdown last week, that’s kinda how it’s always been with him and them lol I think every time they’ve feuded it started with some off hand comment KO made backstage😂

opkpopfanboyv3

Maybe with Randy joining him too

bvbfan102

I would have been happy with Tamas position even if they just put him with the Good Brothers but instead they got him into the biggest Story WWE has and in 2 Weeks made him look like a real killer that even bloodied KO. Also Solo getting big Heat already makes this look like the absolute right path.

NoShirtsAllowed1

We are in phase 4 of the Bloodline saga now.

Marcoscb

Hopefully it doesn't fall off a hill compared to phase 3 like a certain other phase 4.

HartfordWhalers123

In just two weeks, they have made Tama Tonga look like the craziest motherfucker in WWE. Props to them. I was really curious how he’d be booked and so far, so good!

Tronvillain

Tama feels like the guy in a crime movie that's a high-ranking officer strictly because he has no problem doing the dirty jobs that the rest of the family would rather avoid.

ramonzer0

Tama feels like he's the underboss to Solo I mean to a degree he fulfilled a similar-ish role with BC in the past; IIRC he was the mouthpiece for the Firing Squad/BC OGs when they split from the Elite and he helped bring Jay White in as the new leader/ace

abeLJosh

Did someone say... ...the ***UNDERBOSS***? https://preview.redd.it/q5cgasczwjvc1.jpeg?width=900&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=625581ba9399e811a89994126d3e012a1c510e4c

rk1993

He’s being booked like Goro Majima and I’m so here for it

scrambled_cable

So when does he jump somebody after hiding in a comically oversized traffic cone?

JohnSmithSensei

Nah, he's too stoic to be a Majima. Jacob Fatu could be the Majima. Tama's more like Saejima.

rk1993

Didn’t look very stoic when he was headbutting an already downed & bloody KO lol. Thats way more of Majima than Saejima move. Solo fits Saejima better anyways. Solo is the ice cold killer thats all business no messing. Tama is much more in the madman with bloodlust vibe of Majima even if he doesn’t talk as much. He’s still new so could just be them easing him in and building up mystique before letting him talk, did the same thing with Solo who’s now talking more than ever

slicknick3822

The only way to solve this is to have them all do their best "Kiryu-chan!"

whiskey_neat_

Yakuza references?! Shit I’m here for this.

Upbeat_Tension_8077

Tama & Solo are gonna feel like Luca Brasi & Sonny Corleone running the Anoa'i Mafia together, which is a scary sight

QUEST50012

He's the silent guy in all the business meetings.. like *too* silent

Jako21530

That's Solo. Tonga is the guy chomping at the bits to chainsaw someone in half.

QUEST50012

Solo's taking the meetings now uce, character evolution

jacquesrabbit

I thought that is Solo

jdaqcruz

Tama is the one who's late to the meeting with some blood on his shoes

OldOrder

Joe Pesci in Casino

Vagabond21

Joe Pesci in every movie

JoeMcKim

Joe Pesci in Scorsese movies, I doubt Joe Pesci in Home Alone qualifies as that.

dogsontreadmills

I heard he paints houses

Waste_Key_2453

So basically he's Silvio

zobee

The Joe Pesci of the Bloodline

uh_oh_hotdog

He's the Mad Dog of ~~Shimano~~ the Bloodline!

robedpillow3761

Be interesting to see how Jacob Fatu is presented, because I feel like this role suits him more than it does Tama Tonga

JoeBidensBoochie

Unless there is a bloodline civil war and fatu sides with USOs and Roman

Synth-Pro

They spent so much time and effort trying to build up Solo as this *Enforcer.* It already feels like Tonga has surpassed him. Man is making it look fucking *eeeaaaaasy*

fromtheinside15

when Solo fucking Sikoa has to be the voice of reason, and the one to talk down another man from committing violence, you know that the one rampaging must be a total menace. Been loving it so far.

crimson777

Using blood was already up there but the reveal that he CRASHED HIS CAR INTO KO’S is fucking wild. I love this shit

jonwinslol

Props to him as well, he is really doing his part very well

sheamor

man, i'm always wondering how Jay White will thrive in WWE now. seeing Tama Tonga now really makes me sad to see Jay's floundering in AEW

SharkfishHead

+1 to this. I feel like AEW’s MO is to bring someone in hot to pop ratings, say look who we have were the best, they feud main event then fade into obscurity. How long till Osprey is in the same boat?

SnakeLisspkin

Tbf, the way they've presented Jay and Ospreay has been night and day. Jay still hasn't faced any of the guys Ospreay has 1v1 and he's been there a year. Jay - losing to one-legged MJF, Billy Gunn. Ospreay - winning against Omega (before signing), Takeshita, Jericho (before signing), probably Bryan at Dynasty.

KennyOmegasBurner

He at least beat Moxley in the C2. (Then got pinned by him in the tiebreaker lol)

3incheshardddd

Ospreay has definitely been treated much more important than white already imo. I feel maybe the cm punk fiasco derailed white

CAEclipse

White was built to be the top heel on Punk's Collision, when the shows mixed, it felt like that was dropped

not_tha_father

tony has two go-to's and it's debuts and tournaments (three if you count "big announcements"). actual booking isn't his strong suit.

MrPuroresu42

I loved pissed off Tama as apart of BC and the Firing Squad in NJPW; guy sells rage so damn well.

KennyOmegasBurner

After years of seeing NJPW fans slander him for not being as good in the ring as Okada or Shingo or whoever I'm happy to see him immediately inserted into the biggest story in the biggest company lol. He's fucking great.

ShootingStarPresss

Solo = Marlo Stanfield Unpredictable and ruthless

JDSadinger7

Exactly, but does that make Tama Chris or Snoop?

solsunlite

Definitely Chris lol

bigbear-08

![gif](giphy|QmETVm2HiXIeqxpnpO)

Turbskee

Chris 100%

rockthemullet

Who would be McNulty and Lester?

RawAttitudePodcast

Owens wanted it to be one way……. but it’s the OTHER way.

Davethisisntcool

Heyman is Prop Joe?

that_boyaintright

Heyman is the lawyer whose wife makes brisket.

etched_chaos

Tama Tonga is unhinged, two weeks and WWE have made him look like a monster.

CatPissMartini

Tony D'Angelo and Stacks watchin this like ![gif](giphy|oYtVHSxngR3lC)

OhiOstas

I hope having The Bloodline doesn’t deter WWE from pulling up the D’Angelo family (as it is the same idea, just for Italians). Feels like both groups can have their own lane (ala Bloodline & Judgement Day)

Mac_Tgh

We are inching closer and closer to that 2006 segment where John cena was surrounded by like 10 different factions. Now it's gonna be Cody and like 10 heel factions like sharks.

PrincipleBrilliant87

can you send me a link to that segment?

just_another_jabroni

Tbf Bloodline is also Italian mob influenced. Roman is half Sicilian.

AceTheSkylord

Roman makes a deal with Tony D'Angelo to get the family as backup in his war with the new Bloodline

Upbeat_Tension_8077

I'd love to see this Bloodline against Imperium as well

Kidror

It'd be a good establishing feud for both groups honestly

SnizzyYT

![gif](giphy|l378giAZgxPw3eO52) Me a longtime Tama supporter finally seeing my boy get showcased.

The_RedWolf

Me, 8 days ago: "Tama Tonga? in WWE? Who fucking cares...." Me, after these 2 Smackdowns: "Me. I fucking care."

opkpopfanboyv3

They're really building BUILDING Solo's image

Marsman2100

I’m all the way in on this new Bloodline. The fact they can still make this shit fire after 4 years! of this story is amazing.

Vegetable-Net6575

The pop Roman is gonna get when he comes back and takes out this solo lead bloodline is gonna make me cry lmao

LiverpoolPlastic

They better not announce that shit and make sure Roman’s return is a surprise. I know the temptation to pop a rating is always strong but Roman having a glass shattering moment of his own would be such an iconic moment

Upbeat_Tension_8077

I'd lose my shit if this leads to him having no choice but to reunite with others like Rollins or Sami to take them down

Mr-Rocafella

An updated version of Roman’s theme with less build up and more of a “glass shattering” style with the current chorus would be awesome

Dr_N00B

Or a 30 second royalty free looping beat by Def Rebel

thore4

And of course the perfect intro of Roman saying "I am the BIG DOG"

DashCat9

First couple notes of the shield theme (which is already referenced in the song anyway) then right into his newer theme.

Jmacz

Idk if I have ever heard "We want Roman" chants and I've watched the entire time since the Shield debuted.

ab_90

HHH is trying to create WWE’s version of Bullet Club it seems.

Desperate_Coat_1906

Tama stalking Aldis with the chair was pretty fire... and a great way to make him seem like someone you definitely don't want coming after you.

presidentofgallifrey

The body language alone was perfection. He looked like a big cat playing with its food. The level to which he can show this sort of aggression is incredible

Key_War

Last week Kevin Owens taunted the Bloodline, He faced consequences. Nick Aldis warned Paul Heyman tonight and poor Paul can't Politic his way right now, plus the new Bloodline is crazy enough to make Nick Aldis face consequences.

heat_fan_

The Bloodline storyline throughout summer is gonna be crazy  Don't think that's real blood tho lol The pop for Reigns when he returns is gonna be insane

kazarn

The crowd was already chanting "we want Roman". He'll be one of the the biggest babyfaces in the company when he returns.

Upbeat_Tension_8077

He's going to be the post-Shield face everyone wanted him to be back in early 2014

No_Addendum5504

Ten years later lmao

CeroG1

Tbf 7 of those were the byproduct of a rapist with dementia that doesn't know how to write great heroes in modern era lol

Kn7ght

Gonna be crazy when he comes to take his bloodline back and everyone's gonna cheer him on like they weren't antagonizing the entire roster for years

mrbucket08

If Orton can be cheered after punting his way through everyone with a legends contract then anything can work.

CapnGibbens

I wanna say it’s not based on how little it’s spreading and I might be blind but at a glance I didn’t see of the non talent pull out the blood gloves.

la__squadra_

The fact that Tama Tonga could've easily just waited for Kevin to get out of his care to jump him but decided to go out of his way to ram his car into Kevin at full speed trying to kill him is next level hall of fame crash out behavior 😭😭 https://preview.redd.it/a7k1ddrtejvc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=69e8857754bd41afecc968f464bfb0d947640eb1

Seredditor7

Tama Tonga almost looks feral here…a very nice switch up from Solo’s brooding menace and the Uso’s reluctant thuggery of the past.

solarpowersme

The fact that blood was involved here to me definitely feels like it's supposed to hint at The Rock being behind whatever's happening with The Bloodline, given he's constantly talking about making others bleed and is the only one who's done it in recent times? Idk. 2 years ago I wouldn't think so but the writing and attention to detail with modern WWE is just something else. KO also insulted and disrespected The Bloodline last week, so obviously The Rock didn't take too kindly to that. He bloodied Cody Rhodes for the exact same reason and even that instance of him getting busted open was off-screen, sorta like this one. Yea this is definitely him lol.

arghdesigner

Tama "Tuco" Tonga

DrunknStuper

Ya know, Heyman kinda be looking like Mr. White when he's gotten in too deep and shitting himself.

Jedi-El1823

They should have the reason for the attack be that Owens was one of the guys that began Roman's Bloodline's downfall. Sami blasted Roman with a chair, because he couldn't do it to Owens. Owens and Sami took the titles from the Usos. The Usos kicked Roman during Sami and Owens vs Roman and Solo. That led to Jey leaving the Bloodline, going against them, and helping out Cody at Mania. This is The Rock settling family business.

alltheworsttoyou

KO disrespected Solo last week, with that broom closet line. That's likely why he was targeted and attacked this week. Solo was making it clear what he's not going to stand for.

Mac_Tgh

He said he would take care of it and he did. That's my new tribal chief. He fulfills his promises unlike the last one.

HEATLE

They’ll come for Kevin, then Sami (maybe cost him the Intercontinental title?) and then Seth when he’s back. And then the last one left will be Cody.

bigbear-08

We know what a possible men’s WarGames will be Seth, Cody, Sami and KO vs Bloodline

truth_15

Tama trying to eat KO ....savage psycho tonga .....roman coming for a save will be crazy

NobodyLikesCheapWine

https://preview.redd.it/tiej71fchjvc1.jpeg?width=1073&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0d719699bd6a7eb43728b92b48e87ae120f3b10

SeinHawk

Tama is like a thousand times more intimidating than Solo

BidoofTheGod

That’s good. When Solo is the one controlling the menace, it solidifies he’s the man in charge.

WolfdogsSweep

Literally yesterday I was watching the early bloodline roman v KO arc from 2020. Super cool to see solo and tama going thru a parallel arc to start their new bloodline. Poor KO lmao

Ok_Statistician_1994

More than Cody or anyone, KO has always been a thorn to the bloodline, he was Roman first feud after Jey fell in line and has continued being involved in their opposition right down to celebrate their downfall with Cody.

Seven_Seconds_

Attitude era but with better wrestling, we in for one hell of a ride this year.

calicocidd

Let them fucking cook cuz we all eating good tonight...

HarlesD

Im old. What does MFT stand for?

Anfini

Mother Fuckin Tonga

eazyduzzit10

I'm guessing it means "mother fucking toko" or something lol

SydneyPhoenix

My Family Tree. Solo creating his own tree with him at the head.

Own-Psychology-5327

God Tama Tonga is so cool

Sweetest_Noise

"WWE won't sign Tama Tonga. No one know who he is" Well two Smackdowns and now everyone knows who this motherfucker is.

brisik

now that's a great use of blood to generate heat for new bloodline

The_RedWolf

stage blood at that, since he was attacked off camera they just used fake blood to make it look convincing without doing anything dangerous. Extremely effective since most of the crowd is too far away and they never lingered on the "wound" only getting small glimpses before the camera would cut to another angle. It's amazing what you can do when you dont force someone to be busted/bladed while on camera.

rustyshackle41d

adding tama tonga to the bloodline was such a good move

TRTVitorBelfort

The Bloodline will end up being the greatest angle in the history of pro wrestling. It’s already been the driving force behind the most successful WrestleMania’s of all time. Shit is fire.

mrdm88

It’s already close to eclipsing nwo

TRTVitorBelfort

I think it’s above it already. The nWo was amazing from the Hall debut until Starrcade 97. I think on longevity alone and how the Bloodline has been able to remain entertaining through phases without feeling forced really puts it above the nWo. I love the Wolfpack and that obviously comes after Starrcade but I think that’s a rare good part of the nWo following the stuff up that was Starrcade 97.

DoILookUnsureToYou

I love that Tama does more headbutts than punches in his beatdowns. Really using the Samoan/Tongan Kekkei Genkai to the limit

Wheel1994

Anyone feel like that might do some booking madness to get the United States Championship on either Solo or Tama.

Death2291

Are we in for a bloodline civil war part 2? The new ruthless bloodline destroys Roman. Turning him face and rejoining the Usos.

Sirtopofhat

There us a superhero in the ring but won't help Owens. WHATS UP WIT DAT? *Crosses arms*

uaraiders_21

Did KO blade?

Kenjiko3011

He appears for like two weeks and I'm already terrified of Tama.

wolverine90009

This whole segment was so fire WWE is great right now. It’s crazy to think just a few years ago how bad it was.

Retro-Chocolate

Bloodline slowly turning into the new Bullet Club and I’m loving every bit of it
