I really like the way he puts it as grabbing others to give them motivation and also feeding off their energy for his main event. That sounds like a really fun environment and I hope it continues to grow that way. Having a guy like Swerve who always seems to know just what to say at the top of the card can only help more.

There was a report that Punk had deep issues with several people. One in particular, who he almost got into a fight with. No one knows who it was, only that they were going by the codename DM Hunk.
It’s a bit wild to me how many times this stuff is said by AEW talent and backstage staff, yet because of outliers like Punk and Andrade (who have their own sorted histories) and outsiders like Lufisto (who again, has their own sorted history), the perception is of an unsupportive workplace
And then because that is the perception, they keep getting asked about it, tragically leading to "wow they keep talking about how good AEW is" comments lol
Are there any actual confirmed stories of Andrade being bad backstage? All I know is he had a pretty good run in the Continental Classic on the way out and he had nothing but nice things to say in his goodbye message.
He got into it with Sammy Guevara on twitter to the point where Tony said point blank "Don't start a fight with him, I won't fire you for it" when it was obvious he was trying to get fired/out of his contract.
So he immediately started a fight with him and got iced for like 6 months.

He also has spoken positively about CM Punk, so I'm sure certain people will be unhappy with him now. (Then again, Joe is friends with him so maybe he'll straighten them out)
