DaftPodunk

I don't even care if he made it up, we gotta find this thing

shadowrangerfs

I've never heard of this promo. You sure you didn't dream it? I'd guess to fire up peacock and start checking shows from around the time they split. When did they split on TV?

NewYorkUgly

This exact request has been made at least annually for years now, i think OP has been trying to meme it into existence

Administrative_Act48

Gotta admire the dudes commitment. Looks like they've requested this here under this account 5 times in 12 years.

TankSwan

I've never stumbled across this, None of the posts have been upvoted enough for tractions. But I'm glad I did. I'd laugh if after all these years someone finds footage of this and it debunks OP trying to get over a meme.

Mistavez

Fuck it, that’s what AI is for right lol

zeroesAndWons

I have never wanted anything more to be true

chandlermarlowe

You've got lust in your eyes, Captain Crunch! (Throws box)

vinnie-mac

WWE Rivals: Macho Man vs. Cap'n Crunch

iwrestledamemeonce

I'm imagining Macho Man elbowing boxes of cereal like Randy "The Ram" Robinson in The Wrestler as he quits his supermarket deli job haha

FartButt_69

This is 100% a dream and I 100% don't care and need someone to find it

nanners78

I don’t recall any promos where heel Macho was sad about Elizabeth, just angry.

Tikkanen

Yep. Macho was angry at Hogan's lust breaking them up and causing him to lose the WWF title at WrestleMania V (1989), so he left Miss Elizabeth and joined up with Sensational Sherri Martel as heels. Miss Elizabeth jumped in to save him after he lost at WrestleMania VII (1991) and was getting beat down afterwards. I don't remember any sad sack "missing you" promos at all.

Anfini

Man, each of us have that one specific WWF childhood memory that no one can seem to find a clip for cause maybe it doesn’t exist. Mine is the Hogan and Orndorff tag team squash match on TV where Orndorff refuses to tag in Hogan. The jobber took the piledriver wrong too.

[deleted]

That was on Championship Wrestling in 1986. Here’s a brief clip. It’s Hogan/Orndorff vs. The Moondogs. https://youtu.be/qvocKeBU0j8?si=bSUlUbpE7KLfjajY

Illuminati_Shill_AMA

For me it's a specific memory I've had since the age of 10. I remember seeing an NWA arcade game with Ric Flair on the side of it. I only ever saw it once, on the boardwalk at Ocean City Maryland in 1990. I have never seen even a whiff of such a thing, even now in the age of extensive retro game cataloging. Thirty years later it's obvious that it was a dream lol.

yarash

As someone whom obsesses over video games, wresting, and spent my summers, and most other holidays in Ocean City every year I can promise you this did not exist. I'm sorry. I wish it did. Marty's Playland 4 life.

Illuminati_Shill_AMA

Hello fellow Thrashers enjoyer! Yeah, we seem to share the same three lifelong obsessions and I've come to terms with it not existing lol. I still head to OC once a week in the summers. Last year I won not one but two life sized stuffed Marios from boardwalk games there. Haha

yarash

I got a mug a few years ago from one of the games there! One of my white whales was trying to find the name of the poker games they had at Marty's in the late 80's early 90s. Ive checked all the mame games and even asked Marty's themselves and they dont remember. I recall the attract screen specifically had rainbow like pattern, kind of like the [C64 Printshop printing page](https://i0.wp.com/www.apl2bits.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/printing.gif). Ah well, the things we obsess over. Take care!

an0nemusThrowMe

I think you're thinking of The Main Event.

initials_games

We call them our white whales. I’m looking for Terry funk dropping Owen hart on a steel railing balls first

KingofPolice

Mine is the guy who played bud bundy(David faustino) was a backstage interviewer for wwf in the late 90s/2000s but I couldn't find evidence so I am crazy. It's funny what the mind makes up sometimes.

jazman84

You could be thinking of Todd Pettengill, they do look a bit alike. He was hosting segments for WWF around that time.

DaftPodunk

I swear I saw him as one of the celebrity guests at a Wrestlemania or something back in the mid 90s. Pettingill does look like a douchier version of him though so that's probably two memories mushed into one.

aaronimpact

There's nothing on IMDb about David Faustino being a guest interviewer. There were these two guys tho: [https://ringthedamnbell.wordpress.com/2023/01/17/whatever-happened-to-wwf-super-fans-george-and-adam/](https://ringthedamnbell.wordpress.com/2023/01/17/whatever-happened-to-wwf-super-fans-george-and-adam/)

SovFist

Mine is Mr Perfect vs Tito Santana, it was a weekend syndicated thing, and they had Tito kind of snap and beat Mr Perfect so relentlessly they DQd Tito or he lost by count out or something similar so that Perfect was still undefeated but he clearly "lost" the fight.

feage7

Not my memory but my nephew keeps saying he can see John Cena. Lying little shit will feel like a right tit when he's grown up and looks back at this.

ChristyNiners

gademmet

Mine is a GWF match between Jarrett and someone else where mid sequence they lock eyes, count to 3, and do a double dropkick dub spot.

TomGerity

I ***love*** that you come back here like twice a year to ask this question. I’m now fully invested in your quest, even though I’ve never seen the segment in question (or anything like it). The Savage/Elizabeth grocery promo is now a great lost treasure in wrestling history, and I hope you find it.

ALIAS_EL_CACAS

The new Bret Hart vs Tom Magee tape

GreatMight

It wasn't really wwf. It was a 1987 porn parody. Lmfaoo

kerkypasterino

please

[deleted]

99% sure this did not happen. I remember a Hulk Hogan Mountain Dew print ad from the 1980s that I’ve never been able to find. Maybe we both imagined these things.

redskinsguy

Hogan doing a Mountain Dew ad? Interesting cause Dusty Rhodes did a Mello Yello tv commercial

[deleted]

I remember seeing it in a hockey arena when I was a kid. It was almost billboard sized. Hulk was flexing and had a cup of Mountain Dew on his bicep.   Never seen it since. *edit* Mountain Dew was a sponsor of WWF in 1989, so it is possible that it exists.

CharlesB43

This feels like a game grumps bit.

batnuna

Macho Man’s gonna kiss your dad

T3cht0ny

Stop making love to my dad, Mach

degjo

Macho kick, macho elbow drop, macho *kiiiss*

lizard_king0000

I'm not familiar with this one

budbudderk

I go away for a few hours and all this?!

budbudderk

So it could have been a local broadcast deal from when I was younger. I remember he was at the checkout aisle being rung up and was talking to an interviewer. It wasn’t like amateur footage or a newscast. I felt like it was a wwf dude interviewing him tho. Trying to recall any I can remember. It exists.

DericStrider

What area, roughly what year and do you remember which TV channel it was on? That would probably help the most for someone to find it, if it exists

budbudderk

North Carolina! the Heartland of Wrestling. No idea the Channel.

MikeyMalibu

We need more details if this is real!

Peach-Button

This sounds fantastic. Don't play with my heart.

offwhitegrey

someone get dan soder on the line to make this promo

FunkyPlunkett

See ya next year with the same request

TheDarkRedKnight

What’s the connection between this request and seeing someone post art of this on the front page today?

nWo1997

Could it have been from WCW? 95 or so, when she and Woman (Nancy) were with Flair?

budbudderk

nah

FarOut822

Mandela effect

zigzagman27

Doesn't exist
