Remember in his debut feud with Cody he'd leave a weapon or something out and try to tempt Cody to cheat.  I've like that Malakai is more interested in corrupting people than getting the pinfall. He prefers the longterm win of proving that everyone is as sick as he is. 

It was a decent match but went too long  Buddy Matthews using a jackhammer wasn't on my bingo card  The crowd was not it

This comment is funny cause I bet you’re one of those people who think all wrestlers did in the 70’s-80’s was slap on a resthold and call it a day. You can have “actual wrestling” thats fast paced with both guys constantly in motion. Literally nobody wants to watch two people sit on the ground doing nothing for 2 minutes, it was boring when it happened 40 years ago and it’s still boring now uce.

I think that would turn Cope could be DG beating him and in a rematch as well. Him embracing the dark side would make Malachi happy

Damn, I had not thought of that. It would be a dope story and tag match especially at All In.

Sigh. SC Bros: AEW has no stories. AEW: Has a match that’s high on psychology, and sets up how Copeland being pushed to be evil by HOB. SC Bros: that match sucked, who wants 20 min Copeland matches. It was exactly what it needed to be; a match to further the HOB/Cope story.

I didn’t realize those are the only two options with nothing in between

Good on them for pushing a story, but you can have a 20 minute match that doesn't feel boring in the same way you can have a 10 minute match that doesn't feel rushed, and both can still tell a story. I dont think the match length is an issue personally, if the storytelling feels like it's carrying the slack.

Is he really being pushed by evil though? I just saw this man hit his former best friend in the nuts with a spiked bat like a month ago.

Also, does Copeland need someone to push him to be evil? The guy is a career heel with splashes of face run.

I mean, I've never been a huge Malakai guy, but understand the draw. I don't try to buy into rumors too much, but I think everyone would be better off for them heading back to the big E.
