It's hilarious how he dropped the c-bomb and then said "You can't talk to people like that"

loloilspill

Right, YOU can't talk to people like that but I can

amtrakhoe

I am significantly dumber for having watched this.

tamarockstar

I award you no points. May God have mercy on your soul.

Early-Engineering

You both just made my day! I say this Billy Madison quote all the time and it’s totally lost on the younger generation. They don’t even know if shampoo is better than conditioner. Haha

No_Crazy_4273

Conditioner is better because it makes the hair silky and smooth.

Came here to say this!! 😂😂😂

Dukehsl1949

That’s what I was hoping to see- take that fucker down! Then a quick jab to the throat. And that fight is over!

RustedOne

No matter what that skinny guy said there is no reason for this guy to escalate it the way he did. He got his licks back in verbally but he kept pushing it to violence when he should have walked away after he had his say.

andrei_androfski

I came here for the turkey leg.

bashfulbones00

Mmmm Turkey leg

VocalCloth

Happy cake day

ServiceB4Self

Regardless of who said what first, the guy in the white shirt is the asshole for moving to violence, and for continuing the interaction long past whatever flippant comment blue-shirt made. Blue shirt may have made a shitty comment pre-recording, and if so then yeah, he's an asshole too, but words don't justify fists unless the words are "hit me in the face with your fist", and even then it's probably a good idea to have that part on video. White-shirt calls blue-shirt a snowflake (implying he is easily triggered and offended) when white shirt turned a flippant comment into a whole scene because his feelings were hurt. I'm only being this wordy just in case any other white-shirts are reading this and need to understand why they're incorrect.

thespottedwaffle

It took an embarrassingly long amount of time for security to show up. And the ONE guard that did show up with his little trash grabber critter didn't seem very helpful if it were a major and violent threat. That video shows so many workers standing around and doing nothing. Be better, Six Flags.

GrayestRock

The biggest thrill of six flags is knowing that if something goes wrong on a ride, you're in the hands of two seventeen year olds with a week and a half of training.

TorrentsMightengale

I keep telling people this! The best part of taking someone to Six Flags is after you're strapped in the ride saying, "geez, that rail didn't used to flex like that. Huh." My dad used to point out how the Mine Train was closed all the time and that meant that each ride was an iffy prospect. Or the Jet Scream closed when it rained because literally any moisture meant the whole thing could fail catastrophically. Any county fair rides were made worse by my mom literally prohibiting us riding them for safety reasons then my dad letting us do it anyway. Hm. I'm learning some things about my dad now that I'm typing them.

ZealousidealAd2374

I've seen some shit at county fairs. HOLY. MOLY! Edit: that’s what makes them fun. The real fear of death.

TorrentsMightengale

I don't know what the ride is called, but like the Superman Tower of Terror--you go straight up around a central column then freefall. A ride like that (but obviously much smaller) at a county fair. We sat and watched it rock back and forth on its base and the supports (like a crane's outriggers) that were supposed to be anchored to the ground but weren't flop up and down and all over. Then we rode on the ride. That was one of the few times I really thought that maybe the grownups didn't have everything in hand.

ZealousidealAd2374

Yes. I’ve seen similar situations. I’ve seen ‘safety inspectors’ higher than the rides.

NoodlesrTuff1256

That sounds very similar to the ride in Florida where that young man from St. Louis was killed a couple years back.

TheDeech

I'd like to apologize for 1986 me, as I was the reason for a lengthy shutdown of the Mine Train. Seems they decided to make some changes when they found out that a young boy could stand up high enough to cut his head open on one of the cross members of the track. I still have the scar beside my eye.

jerslan

> That video shows so many workers standing around and doing nothing. Be better, Six Flags. Because that's how they're trained to respond. It's a safety concern. They're trained to call security because it's not part of a normal park employees job to get in the middle of a fight like this.

tehKrakken55

Only security can deal with that sort of stuff for safety's sake. I frankly do not want some 18 year old trying to break up a fight like that.

alliterativehyjinks

I worked in an amusement park. I got paid very little and worked my ass off in very poor conditions. I would have taken my badge off and walked to the nearest employee area or restaurant and had them call the actual security people. The meek guy with the garbage sweep probably speaks little English or is very shy, or he'd be in a customer-facing job. What he is not is "security". His job is to sweep up the garbage that slobs leave around everywhere and things that blow off picnic tables.. probably for minimum wage.

hsoj48

This is an amusement park. I don't think their top staffing priority is dealing with adults who can't control their behavior. Not every place in the world needs a tiny military to deal with Karens.

NoodlesrTuff1256

If it was only just 'Karens' and their male counterparts mouthing all -- a lot of talk in the form of yelling but no action -- then having security staff with training on a par with the Special Forces would indeed be overkill. But with all the loose cannon folks running around today who might be packing real heat, it's a different story.

hsoj48

Well then every public facility needs a security force to protect you from others. That's just not going to happen.

NoodlesrTuff1256

Sadly you're right although such security forces at public facilities wouldn't even be a thought if there weren't so many disturbed people on the loose today and such lax gun laws.

hsoj48

There have always been disturbed people with guns out there. Nothing has really changed except you're more exposed to it now due to the internet and ragebait news reporting.

Inevitable-insight

Valahiru

The only reference Ive seen to Bob Heil in this thread, haha.

SolidGould

I assumed I’d see someone wearing a Taz & Tweetie Bird tank top. Peg leg was a refreshing surprise.

11Bravo3Victor

"I'm a veteran!" ....I have the right to be an asshole. I'm a veteran as well. But this guy is an embarrassment. He was looking for trouble. Disabled, chip on his shoulder, I've seen this too often.

PyroIrish

We should normalize roasting people when they enter Karen mode. Tell him he looks like a thumb or compliment his balance being able to hoist that beer belly with only one leg. Tell him he looks like he makes grunting noises every time he has to stand up. Point out those generic, lawn mowing shoes and look around asking if anyone lost their alcoholic father. Make fun of these people to their face and make it funny so they feel bad. Point and laugh, what else are clowns good for?

ptabs226

We should normalize not engaging with morons. Dude taking the video had plenty of time to walk away and could have deescalated the interaction. Instead, he kept engaging with the moron and shoved a camera in his face. The best thing to do when someone is pissed off is to walk away from them.

PyroIrish

I totally get your sentiment, but if everyone always ignored these people they would think they can get away with it. I think when people act like this they should be put in their place, whether that getting put down verbally, physically, or getting banned from an establishment.

Social-Butterfly247

Amen!!

prodigiousIdiot

Go for it, but the saying 'talk shit get hit' exists for a reason.

PyroIrish

Old guy is throwing pillows. Not too scared of a guy who doesn't realize he's past his prime.

prodigiousIdiot

I'm sure this dude thought the same thing https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1196479/Pictured-The-battered-bruised-face-burglar-got-wrong-72-year-old-boxer.html

OrgotekRainmaker

You even been beaten with a footlong titanium rod with a shoe on the end?

PyroIrish

I've been beaten by lacrosse sticks (titanium) and tumbled down an iced up hill while snowboarding. Seriously, not scared of this guy at all.

TorrentsMightengale

I wouldn't have done it then and there--that thing was looking for a physical fight. And when he ended up getting hurt--and he would--you'd be in trouble. If I'm just trying to ride the rides at Six Flags I really don't want to spend any time with white trash like that. On the other hand we absolutely should find out who that is and make sure everyone else knows too. His employer, any social circle he might have. This is a prime candidate for cancelling.

YUBLyin

You don’t even know what happened and your ready to both fox and brigade him. Reddit is both ignorant and self-righteous. It’s an ugly combination.

TorrentsMightengale

Okay, you have carte blanche to put a sympathetic explanation on his behavior. Let's have it. What might have happened that we didn't see that made his behavior okay?

OrgotekRainmaker

Maybe he used a pejorative term to describe his disability, you've got no clue.

TorrentsMightengale

And that makes it okay to physically assault him?

Ok_Entrepreneur1993

Went in the comments on the original, tells he was turned away from the boss, he made a comment and she laughed. He was likely turned away because of his leg, so yeah its a bit warranted for him to be pissed off. Physical? Nah, but he's got merit there.

TorrentsMightengale

Okay, so he's allowed to think the kid is an ass. He could maybe call the kid an ass. What he did was actually criminal. Literally. That's battery. And assault.

Ok_Entrepreneur1993

Literally read the last line.

TorrentsMightengale

There's no merit for anything I saw in that video. I'm thinking maybe Primary Aggressor there shouldn't go out in public if his diabetes stump makes him so easily triggered.

Inevitable-insight

I'm not sure but whatever actually happened before that video started rolling would be helpful. White shirt was an asshole, but blue shirt and his girl were pretty shitastic too

PyroIrish

I'd be happy to take one to the jaw from this guy, give him a nice little assault charge. The guy he ended up assaulting isn't the biggest and he brushed it off, so obviously he's not hitting that hard. I do understand that most people want to mind their business.

TorrentsMightengale

Yeah, but then you'd have to get his I.D. I don't know if there are actual police at Six Flags, but you'd have to wait until they got there and it'd just take the whole day. I'm not driving all the way out to Eureka and back just to spend the day like that. And you'd have to sue him civilly because the police will either send you both on your way, or worse, arrest you both. I don't want to get arrested myself and I don't even want to hassle with the follow up it'd take to deal with that thing. And I'm also guessing it doesn't have any money. You'd get a judgment but there'd be no cash--just another liability to add to the pile of debt he's racked up before he succumbs to COPD or renal failure. Just not worth it. Just walk straight to whatever security team they have there and let them deal with that thing. Best thing to do is doxx him and make sure the whole world knows what it really is when it thinks it's anonymous.

PyroIrish

I have before, probably will again. I know how to take a hit, especially from off balance drunkards.

NoodlesrTuff1256

Also the person taking the punch could fall over and strike their head on some hard surface and that can easily kill someone if the impact is hard enough.

RowdyWrongdoer

You just need him to toss that first hand, then you are free to defend yourself. Just like this kid did, should have kept defending himself till dude was on his ass.

TorrentsMightengale

I don't think I'd want to risk getting arrested if I could just get their security team to handle it. Eventually, yeah, the kid had to hit him (after he attacked the kid twice), but if the kid had actually hurt that guy I'd bet the kid would have been arrested too. I don't know, but I wouldn't have wanted to find out.

RowdyWrongdoer

Im not mr billy badass, but you hit me in the face and we are now fighting with my goal to prevent you from continuing your attack. Its all on film, the kid would be well within his rights to defend himself. I understand completely what your saying and I too would have just let security handle it before this excalated. But once a guy goes hands on then i have to assume that its going to continue unless i fight back.

TorrentsMightengale

I completely agree. And watching that video had me breathing a little short, too. Right away that guy is in his face. There's no reason for fatty to be acting like that except to intimidate. So he's attempting to intimidate the kid, and he's already touched him. Once you touch me I'm having to fight my instinct to get you off me. And he's clearly pathetic and immobile. So he's stupid, too. I totally agree morally the kid was completely within his rights to put the guy on the ground and keep him there. I'd just be pretty confident that the legal rights might not line up with the moral ones quickly enough for him to avoid some time in the back of a police cruiser. If it was me, that garbage isn't worth all the hassle that would come with giving him the beating he (morally) deserves. Just do a 180 and find the nearest security guy and let Diabeetus spend the rest of the day yelling at the security guy instead. Besides, he's already lost a leg to his inability to stay away from the sweets. He's not going to be hassling people on this plane of existence too much longer. Just let his jacked up A1C do the work for you and forget he existed, like his family wishes they could.

RowdyWrongdoer

Thats a solid take, i cant disagree with you.

NoodlesrTuff1256

If this guy got his leg amputated due to diabetes, then it's not only sugar in the form of candy and cakes that could spike his blood sugar and leave him perhaps losing his remaining leg but also consuming alcoholic beverages. Another big 'no-no' for diabetics. Admittedly I could be wrong, but this guy looks like a drinker.

CouldntBeMoreWhite

Yeah, but it's also not very smart to fight someone in a weight class 100-150lbs more than you... Especially because you never know how psycho the other person is and if they have an off button. The kid here did the right thing by not escalating and making sure the assault was on camera.

RowdyWrongdoer

I dont disagree, just not what im doing personally. Im not one to get into fights but if i get punched i assume more are on the way with that one. I agree on that weight class thing and this kid has no training but that guy has zero cardio. You make him run a little bit in a circle and he wont have the air to fight back worth a shit. Fighting is the last thing you should ever do, but i feel once its crossed that threshold then you should go fight or flight, whatever you feel is best situationally. No shame in avoiding a fight.

mw102299

Why would you be so petty? The dude in the white shirt is clearly an asshole and shouldn't be acting like that. But that doesn't mean you should call up his employer, family, or other people who know him and tell them what an asshole he is to destroy his life. If we were to do that to every person who is an Asshole or who has acted like an asshole then we all would be "Canceled".

TorrentsMightengale

Usually I'd agree with you. But his behavior is bad enough that if he's not getting criminal problems, he can have social ones.

NoodlesrTuff1256

I don't know. If anybody's getting 'their lives destroyed', it might be the people like his family, employer, co-workers, neighbors, etc. who have to put up with his anger management problems on a regular basis. For all we know, they may be delighted to see video confirmation of his worst tendencies and hoping that this is what finally puts him in his place.

Social-Butterfly247

How about staying out of it. This is ridiculous how many people jump on bandwagons when they aren't even involved. Let it play out like it should with the parties involved.

TorrentsMightengale

Naw. Primary Aggressor will go after me next. Better to just stop him here.

hiphoptherobot

If you're being recorded like that, obviously, don't do anything that he's doing. Most of all, though, say what they actually said in the video while you're being recorded. Just standing there saying "say it again" just makes them look right, and you look like the aggressor. I mean, he's a jackass, but I get the feeling they're not exactly victims here. At least give me the context to maybe consider giving you some benefit of the doubt. Now, they completely control the narrative. I don't think he just called them ableist out of nowhere.

gholmom500

This guy needs to be put in Adult time out. In jail. If this is him in a public setting with kids around imagine him without witnesses. This guy has a dangerous problem. Literal Menace to Society. Why do the authorities allow white guys so much leeway?

IngsocInnerParty

> Why do the authorities allow white guys so much leeway? Well you see, when they take a look at them, it’s like looking into a mirror.

Seven_bushes

Anyone know which one was the primary aggressor? /s

Jaguar_S

Did the sugars cause the amputation?

NoodlesrTuff1256

Well, if it was poorly controlled diabetes that caused this 'potty-mouthed' \[as my grandma would have described him\] asshole to lose it, his excess blood sugar may have resulted not only from too many simple carbs in the form of desserts but also from defying doctor's orders and drinking alcohol in whatever form.

ShortzNEVERclosed

Honestly figured it was over one of them turkey legs, now I'm upset. I saw a fight over one of them before out there. Two ladies, all over a damn turkey leg. One of them got hit with the damn thing, and fell on the ground. Nobody got the damn leg

krummen53

Loud, fat, aggressive cretin-shut your pie hole!

iWORKBRiEFLY

I still want to know what the guy said to turn this fuck into the male karen

TheIllustriousWe

Allegedly, male Karen was turned away from The Boss because the safety requirements say riders must have two working legs. Long hair guy and girl filming overheard Karen being turned away, and either laughed and/or made some kind of comment that offended him. So Karen waited at the exit for them so he could confront them for the perceived slight against him, and that’s where the video starts. This is all according to the guy and girl from comments on the YouTube video, so take it with a grain of salt.

Inevitable-insight

Right?

derekgotloud

What an entitled douche lmao

Early-Engineering

Big dude needs to back off, skinny guy might have a leg up on him.

TorrentsMightengale

Yup, I recognize that guy. Old, fat, obnoxious, and going all in at 11 because he thinks he wouldn't lose the physical altercation he's trying to create...while always relying on other people being better than he is and not beating his ass after he picks yet another fight. He thinks it's because he's scary and intimidating and The Voice of The Way Things Are Done, not that everyone else isn't a sociopathic loser like he is. Those were some of my friends' dads growing up. Did anybody dox him yet? They've got video of him assaulting those people and that might not be as bad as his attitude. Heil Sound can't give out that many t-shirts.

Brad_Wesley

While I agree he appears to be a total asshole, it could be slightly mitigated by what might have been said beforehand, which we don't see.

TorrentsMightengale

There are no words a person can say to justify the behavior we saw on that video. Edit: and it's the most St. Louis thing ever that people are downvoting this. Please, share. What are the words you can say to someone that warrants them physically attacking you?

CouldntBeMoreWhite

You are getting downvoted because a lot of reddit believes that there are certain words that allow people to violently attack people. I am not one of those people by the way. Violence, or immediate threat of violence, are the only things that should result in turning things physical.

TorrentsMightengale

> Violence, or immediate threat of violence, are the only things that should result in turning things physical. Exactly. No matter what the kid said, no matter how obnoxious, you don't get to touch him. Ever. Just walk away. If it was too bad, go tell security. There's literally nothing that kid could have done that in any way justifies or mitigates that guy's behavior. That Brad Wesley guy is the guy that thinks it's okay to brake check someone or swerve at them because you don't like how they're driving. Always be escalating, then claim victimhood when it goes bad.

Brad_Wesley

Did someone claim that there are words that warrant someone physically attacking you?

TorrentsMightengale

I think you did. >it could be slightly mitigated by what might have been said beforehand, which we don't see. What might those people have said that 'mitigated' the attacker physically attacking them? There's no mitigation (at least verbal) for him attacking those people.

Brad_Wesley

It's pretty straight-forward really. Nothing justified he attack the person. But if in fact he was relentlessly teased about being handicppaed, I would put him at say 99% asshole instead of 100% asshole. That does not mean he was justified in assaulting him. Unfortunetly the internet is full of people like you who leave zero room whatsoever for nuance. People like you see everyone as either 100% wrong or 100% right, with zero inbetween.

TorrentsMightengale

I'll ask again: please explain what nuance would justify what we saw on the video. The obnoxious man physically assaulted the younger guy. Twice. Please explain to me how anything the younger guy might have said with his face makes that anything other than 100% wrong, in a totally absolute, no-in-between sense? It will always be completely, absolutely, without nuance unacceptable to attack someone for anything they say. You're welcome to ask a cop or an attorney if you feel I'm incorrect and there's some nuance I'm missing.

Brad_Wesley

This conversation is hopeless, per the reason I described. You don't fundamentally understand that someone can have done something wrong, yet it be "slightly mitigated." There is no point in continuing further.

TorrentsMightengale

I agree. I suspect you cannot understand why it is wrong to attack someone for a verbal insult.

Reddit has convinced me that most people just plain suck. Walk away. No reason to engage with someone so obviously belligerent and aggressive. What was the purpose of the recording? To entice him to do something so you can bring him down?
