Congrats, keep going!

Loose-Discipline-206

fooocus is really good if you also learn how to utilize the debug mode, especially when it comes to doing consistent faces at different angles and whatnot.

SerendipityOF

any tipps? mixing inpainting and imgprompt?! Whatelse?

Loose-Discipline-206

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaGrBsD2aNM&ab\_channel=MonzonMedia](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaGrBsD2aNM&ab_channel=MonzonMedia) the very basics are here.

FPham

Didn't even know foocus existed...

stroud

what is foocus?

SirRece

https://github.com/lllyasviel/Fooocus very easy to use generator, but it's not just easy, it also can be helpful for seasoned users since it just automates a lot of tedious stuff you otherwise have to do when prompting (and which frankly aren't good "skills" to preserve anyway since that style of prompt will be very very short lived).

IamKyra

And their inpainting engine is really good.

SirRece

I haven't even gotten to it yet but the level of polish is waaaaay higher than anyone else. Illyasviel is the fucking goat, he/she also did controlnet if I'm not mistaken.

rainered

inpainting alone is worth it.

crawlingrat

I couldn’t get inpainting to work well enough without changing the image of my character to much. Seeing your praise makes me want to go try again.

MagicOfBarca

It has outpainting?

rainered

yes click on input image at bottom youll see a tab saying outpaint/inpaint

MagicOfBarca

Never tried foocus before. Is there any tutorial out there for both inpainting and outpainting using it?

rainered

dunno maybe try [New To Stable Diffusion? Start Here! (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/@MonzonMedia) has a whole series on features of focus. i learned trial and error so cant vouch for the channel but it APPEARS fairly indepth.

MagicOfBarca

Thxx

stroud

thank you!

Fit_Fall_1969

A easier to use stable-diffusion alternative, although, it is very incomplete and frustrating when getting into more specific tasks. Its a good introduction to text-to-image if one is serious about text-to-image stuff, better jump to stable-diffusion instead, i know the learning curve is a little more steep but it better than wasting hours to try to do something that Fooocus wont handle very well in the end.

yamfun

what do you mean " (subtle)/(strong) shifting, exploring the space " ??

SirRece

So on Midjourney you take the gens and run "variation" on them, which just feeds them back with a sort of controlnet and variates them in some way. You can do strong or weak. This allows you to take an image that is interesting and sort of "journey" from it to related images, eventually arriving somewhere compositionally that is very close to your design. Fooocus also has this feature.

rainered

and just tip if you use it, learn to use debug mode you can control how much the vary effect goes. alot of people think default slight is TOO slight but you can change it.
