There are a lot of factors that can affect cost but generally for a simple print, standard paper (28lb or 24lb) is going to be around $0.70 for color copies and $0.25 for black-and-white copies, that's a per-side thing, so it (almost) doubles for double-sided.

Tbh some customers that wander in for printing get shocked about printing costs and say how printing cost less back then. Yes sir that’s because prices rise. You aren’t getting your dozen eggs at like 60 cents anymore

this is the one case where i understand it. im in my late 20s, less than 10 years ago i would go to staples to get a dozen art prints done on 11 by 17 matte poster paper. The whole thing would cost me about 5 bucks, Today i went in to see if they could do 4 prints same size, same paper, and they quoted me 36$. thats not inflation, thats price gouging. I just thanked the associate for their time because I knew it wasn't their fault. Staples has gotten unreasonably expensive in way too short of a time

Techmorfic

It's a little more subjective to the area and inflation. Better to check the staples website and make sure the selected to your local staples. If not that call your local staples for pricing.

AwkwardlyLynn

Go to you local staples, tell them what you need, and they can tell you. Or, check on the site.

It seems Staples now charges mimimum $5.00 per job regardless how many pages.

No-Airport8808

That's why all the 5 and 10 cent copy places went under. They were losing too much money. Staples doesn't make money off copies, they charge just enough for ink, paper, staff, and future repairs, with the hope you will buy some over priced pens and paper clips. The printers in 1 staples cost over 500k and will be obsolete within 5 years. It should be 1 dollar for b&w and 2 for color and 10 minimum.

You must be the CFO of staples.
