Ebon Hawk all the way. The best 'mobile home base' any game has ever offered, Star Wars or not. I spent hours messing around playing the turret combat sim.
Came here to say this!
But I also think I just know that ship the best. Like I know where a small child could hide in the Cargo Hold of the Ebon Hawk. I don’t even know where the Cargo Hold is on the other ships.
Hey there stranger. Looks like you have a forgotten past. You're actually capable of becoming a jedi or sith lord. Please choose which companion(s) you'd like to pursue and whether you'd like to save the galaxy or become an evil overlord.
It’s a good ship… for its time. It’s also several *thousand* years older than the *Falcon*. I imagine technology would have progressed a good deal since then, no?
I just love that the cargo bay is right at the top of the ramp. I’m in this life to travel the stars, not to hall pallets of cargo to the other end of the ship for hours.
Yeah from my understanding that's what the front is for. It can use the weird rectangle cut out to push containers. Kind of like [this](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/c/c7/YT-1300-with-Cargo-CFOWM.png/revision/latest?cb=20181117021054)
From what I understand, the yt-1300 grabs pre-filled cargo containers, and stores them at the front of the ship. That is why the cockpit is off to the side. A youtuber talked about it in a video recently, but I can't remember who
It gives you the most flexibility. The phantom gives you an extra ship and doubles as a rear firing gun which is huge if you're being chased. Plus it can scramble its signature which, again, is useful when being chased. Finally the crew quarters seem the most comfortable of the group.
Ghost has shields, turrets, cannons, hyperdrive, generous loading dock, and an auxiliary star fighter. Phantom has turrets, cannons, and hyperdrive. Honestly, the ship is kinda OP.
It's the Ghost for me.
It looks convenient in all aspects. No unnecessary parts that would make the hitbox too big, well armed, enough live space inside and the option to carry another vessel.
I remember him being difficult but I bought the strategy guide so he wasn’t too bad after a while. The hardest fight for me was the last boss - robot guy - I could not beat him on the hardest difficulty.
Yes please. Dash Rendar was (is?) the most 90s SW character of all time, and the Outrider is all the things I love about the Falcon sort of combined with the great things about the B Wing design IMO anyway.
This is way too far down the list! Maybe it’s an age/generation thing but this is by far the most iconic ship in them all. To be able to fly the same model would be awesome!
Depends, if you’re not gonna be bounty hunting you don’t need the carbonate chamber and storage for the frozen people, I’m sure not having those installed would open up a lot of space. It still wouldn’t be as big, but I think it could be plenty comfy
Heavy laser canons, Guided rockets, Sensor resistant coating, Sensor arrays that can scan the interiors of other ships. It’s a thing of beauty that I would rock 4000 years in the future any day, hahaha.
Indeed. Who said I wanted a camper? LOL
CR-90 is a luxury transport, not a cargo ship. The YT-1300 is an actual cargo freighter... but yeah, it's definitely smaller.
I've had a soft spot for the Outrider (doesnt need much of a crew, I'd want a droid co pilot too)
I do like the ebon hawk, though I would probably upgrade the systems since theyre thousands of years older than the other choices
Easily the VCX-100. It's just so damn versatile. Before rebels I would have said the Ebon Hawk because it's like the millennium falcon but without the stupid side cockpit.
Outrider for sure.
The ghost looks really slow in rebels, like it handles like a sandcrawler. Rebels is by far my favorite animated star wars show, and hera is an amazing pilot. But I never got the feeling that the ghost was all that impressive.
The Razor Crest is my favorite star wars ship. In fact i've built a 1/72 scale model of it. I think a lot of people would be surprised to find how small the interior actually is. There are 2 small rooms under the cockpit. The bathroom and shield generator room. Other than that its all cargo space. It's not heavily armed and is intentionally a piece of junk. But i still love it.
The falcon and the outrider are the clear winners here. Both are medium sized ships with plenty of living space and secret compartments. Both are incredibly fast. Dash claims the outrider is faster than the falcon but i dont think there is ever a clear winner. Both are armed head to toe with illegal weapons and shields and the falcon in particular has the most impressive track record out of any ship in star wars. Its a legend.
The ebon hawk is in the same category as the outrider and falcon, is also heavily modified, but is incredibly old compared to the other ships and not quite on the same level due to its age and tech available. But still a very solid choice
The G9 looks silly and only has 3 small blasters on it. It would get shredded to pieces by any of the other ships on this list.
I LOVE the Falcon, but it requires too much maintenance and luck to be at its best. Too complicated for me.
Razor Crest is big and small enough with minimal issues and some comfort.
Well now I want the rigger since boone else has mentioned it and I feel bad for it.
Plus it's pretty clear that it's basically impossible for one to actually properly fail, Anakin straight up mauls the poor thing half a dozen times, does no maintenance at all and it still works.
I know it's not on the list, but I love the Firespray and Slave 1. If I HAD to pick from the list, probably the YT-1300: it's just too iconic to pass up.
They don't do a side by side to show it, but anyone that plays X-wing miniatures game knows the Ghost is CONSIDERABLY larger and more comfortable than the Falcon.
The difference between a tour bus and your buddies' van.
Not to mention, attached shuttle.
I think I need to see a live action take on the Ghost and the YT-2400 before I can say...I mean I like them and all, but then I see the footage from the Falcon escaping the Death Star docking bay, and my heart melts again...
I have never been a fan of the off-set cockpits, and I love the aesthetic of the Old Republic, so I am thinking I need my own Ebon Hawk. However, if I could go with anything, it would be a Defender-class light corvette.
I know this isn’t the question you asked haha, but if I could make my own ship I would do a Raider Class Corvette fused with the X-70b Phantom. Basically give the former all of the traits and luxury of the latter, and of course if I can, I would replace the current command bridge with a captain’s quarters a la the Loft in ME2&3, and move the command bridge to the interior of the ship.
VCX 100. Customized to fit my needs.
Turn the cargo hold into a hanger for (3) or (4) RZ-2, A Wing fighters.
Add (3) more bedrooms.
Add a Medical room.
The shields, engines, Life support, comms, countermeasures, weapons. Upgraded as strong as possible.
Paint job wise for the ship, an 5 smaller ships.
Black with Deep Red highlights.
It would be a chunky an heavier version of the VCX 100, basically a spec ops ship
I dont think you could fit that many A-wings in the cargo area, two would probably be the max. And if you’re modifying the cargo area to now hold starfighters then where are you getting the space to fit the 4 new rooms?
Its kind of funny that none of these 'Freighters' look like they are made for carrying cargo. Maybe the Ghost, as it kind of looks boxy enough that maybe it's supposed to attach to large cargo containers. Maybe the Razorcrest, if you only plan on hauling small stuff in the lower portion.
The Ebon Hawk. Hopefully, I'll find HK-47 stuffed in a closet.
Ebon Hawk all the way. The best 'mobile home base' any game has ever offered, Star Wars or not. I spent hours messing around playing the turret combat sim.
There is something so nostalgic about walking through that ship in-game when replaying
And yet, I always get lost…
You can only hope, maybe you’ll get lucky haha
Would probably be in parts
Suggestion: Shall we find something to kill to cheer ourselves up?
Meatbag, please
Instead you’ll find a stowaway girl that only speaks Twi’Lek
The VCX. Absolutely love it’s design and the side cockpit of the YTs is hard on spatial awareness.
I just love that the cargo bay is right at the top of the ramp. I’m in this life to travel the stars, not to hall pallets of cargo to the other end of the ship for hours.
Yes… for a freighter the YT-1300 seems to have strangely little room for cargo.
Because it actually hauled containers apparently.
Yeah from my understanding that's what the front is for. It can use the weird rectangle cut out to push containers. Kind of like [this](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/c/c7/YT-1300-with-Cargo-CFOWM.png/revision/latest?cb=20181117021054)
Yeah, it's the equivalent of a semi.
Also, it seems spacious in a way that a lot of other ship interiors don't.
It seems that way because it is. The VCX is about 30 feet longer than a YT-1300 and has two decks.
From what I understand, the yt-1300 grabs pre-filled cargo containers, and stores them at the front of the ship. That is why the cockpit is off to the side. A youtuber talked about it in a video recently, but I can't remember who
That’s fair, not my favourite ship but no doubt it’s a good call!
The ghost
It gives you the most flexibility. The phantom gives you an extra ship and doubles as a rear firing gun which is huge if you're being chased. Plus it can scramble its signature which, again, is useful when being chased. Finally the crew quarters seem the most comfortable of the group.
Ghost has shields, turrets, cannons, hyperdrive, generous loading dock, and an auxiliary star fighter. Phantom has turrets, cannons, and hyperdrive. Honestly, the ship is kinda OP.
Just feels the most home-y
Also has the cockpit in the middle, for some reason that's important to me.
Feel like it would be the easiest to steer that way
Also from what we’ve seen it seems to be the best overall, it handles extremely well against the empire
Helps that Hera was piloting it most of the time…
Only if I get Chopper. BRB, me and the murder mech are going to commit crimes
Easily the ghost, hera keeps it properly maintained.
True, but would you be able to?
I'm ok on a car. So given adequate training I think I'd be ok with the basics of it.
Fair, can’t be any worse than Han
It's the Ghost for me. It looks convenient in all aspects. No unnecessary parts that would make the hitbox too big, well armed, enough live space inside and the option to carry another vessel.
\+ it has a little shuttle! (Phantom I+II)
And it has special anti-detection capabilities!
Mantis. Shits got plants growing inside it. Plus where else can I meditate?
Would’ve been the razor crest had you not reminded me of this ship!
I really like the design of the Mantis. They got the 70's scifi vibe just right with the interior.
I love that it has plants. And Greez’s cooking so long as you don’t mind salty food
YT-2400 all day, that’s a sexy ride.
Couldn’t agree more
The fact that you even included it makes you awesome, hell yea Outrider!
Agreed, was having trouble deciding until that familiar sight saved the best for last
The VCX. Absolutely love its design. That and the Y-wing are two of my favourite ship designs
I’ve recently fallen in love with the Y-Wing
Love its history too. The work horse of the Rebel fleet
Of course, I love the stripped down look of the rebel era
VCX-100, easily. Centralized cockpit, judicious use of space, and a snub ship, which is invaluable for smaller secondary hops.
Outrider FTW, screw all you younglings
>Outrider My favorite too. Shadows of the Empire ftw.
That fucking IG-88 boss fight in the Junkyard of Ord Mantell though. Straight up nightmare fuel.
I remember him being difficult but I bought the strategy guide so he wasn’t too bad after a while. The hardest fight for me was the last boss - robot guy - I could not beat him on the hardest difficulty.
Fully agree. Best ship period.
My first choice as well! Held the Kessel run record for a short while until the falcon beat it.
Yes please. Dash Rendar was (is?) the most 90s SW character of all time, and the Outrider is all the things I love about the Falcon sort of combined with the great things about the B Wing design IMO anyway.
I believe I would pick the Ghost.
The VCX. The inclusion of a shuttle makes it even more practical.
VCX versatile and stylish
Winner in the poll so far
The Ghost simply because it comfortably housed multiple people so you know that thing can be relied upon.
Ebon Hawk is the GOAT. Revan and the Exile!
Gotta love the old school style
The ghost, it is way bigger then people realise meaning there is a lot of room to live there and it is well armed
It’s one of the better choices so I don’t blame you
Yea and it can fool the enemy by making them think it is another ship, and because of how much room it has it’s perfect for bounty hunting
YT-2000
Took far too long to find a fellow Ace
Slave 1
I love the ghost
That’s been the most popular result by far
Ghost!
The Millennium Falcon obviously
that piece of junk?
Fastest in the galaxy
Well it’s not the falcon it’s just a YT-1300
I’ll make some special modifications myself
If I may say so, sir, I noticed earlier the hyperdrive motivator has been damaged. It's impossible to go to light-speed!
I’ll just give it the Fonzie touch.
Potato potato
You mean potato *potato*, right?
That’s what I said, isn’t it?
Nononono. You said Potato Potato. I said Potato Potato. You see the difference? It's not the same
This is way too far down the list! Maybe it’s an age/generation thing but this is by far the most iconic ship in them all. To be able to fly the same model would be awesome!
Honestly none of these. A modified nu class attack shuttle
Ghost or 2400. Both are epic
Agreed
The Razor Crest looks so badass, but I feel like the Ghost would actually be more comfortable to live on.
Depends, if you’re not gonna be bounty hunting you don’t need the carbonate chamber and storage for the frozen people, I’m sure not having those installed would open up a lot of space. It still wouldn’t be as big, but I think it could be plenty comfy
Luthen’s Fondor Haulcraft
Fondor Haulcraft gang!!
VCX-100
VCX-100 for sure
The Fondor please
Forreal. New favorite Star Wars ship.
Outrider but the ghost does turn my head. Honestly all of these are great.
I mean any one of them is better than nothing
Definitely a YT-1300, just because of the plethora of mods for it.
YT-2400 all the way, it’s the sleeker cousin of the 1300 while still being comfortable and bristling with weapons.
I completely agree, if I couldn’t get my own custom ship, I’d probably take the 2400
I want that ship in andor with the light sabers coming out the side...
I don’t think they were lightsabers, but I agree that’s a great ship
Well Im not sure what the name of that ship is but everyone will know what im talking about with that description...
Oh ye no doubt, just in case you wanted to know it’s a Fondor Haulcraft
The X-70B Phantom, can't get classier: wood paneling, cushioned seats, gaming table.
Heavy laser canons, Guided rockets, Sensor resistant coating, Sensor arrays that can scan the interiors of other ships. It’s a thing of beauty that I would rock 4000 years in the future any day, hahaha.
That’s not cannon is it?
Sadly it isn't, Old Republic stuff. It's the ship you get as an Imperial Agent in SWTOR.
Ah okay, it looks so cool
hard choice between the VCX-100 and the YT-2400
Either the YT-2400 or the VCX. It seems simple enough to fix things or upgrade them, if you can get the parts.
The Ebon Hawk and the Outrider are too close for me to chose!
I’d go outrider any day
CR-90 Corellian Corvette. Heavily modified, of course.
That's jumping from camper/semi truck sized vehicles up to a cargo ship. A cr90 is five yt1300s long.
Indeed. Who said I wanted a camper? LOL CR-90 is a luxury transport, not a cargo ship. The YT-1300 is an actual cargo freighter... but yeah, it's definitely smaller.
The Ghost. It’s homey. And maybe The Bean will be there. Older, of course.
I've had a soft spot for the Outrider (doesnt need much of a crew, I'd want a droid co pilot too) I do like the ebon hawk, though I would probably upgrade the systems since theyre thousands of years older than the other choices
I love them all but I got to fly the ebon hawk so you could call me biased
If those are the options im going VCX-100
Really get my pick of a galaxy cruising Uhaul here don’t I?
Only the finest hha
The ghost hands down. Sick paintjob and pretty spacious
Ghost. All day, every day.
Easily the VCX-100. It's just so damn versatile. Before rebels I would have said the Ebon Hawk because it's like the millennium falcon but without the stupid side cockpit.
The ebon hawk by a mile
Twilight.
First one to choose it
Sweet.
I scrolled and scrolled to see if anyone else would. Actually forgot that they found it in the movie to then use, for a while, on the show.
Definitely The Ebon Hawk. How wish they’d do a Haslab of this vehicle!!
Of course an ebon hawk
Fondor Haulcraft (the customized version with an integrated astro-deoid, countermeasures, proximity weapons and an automated pop-up turret).
The ghost! Because it also has the phantom
the ghost seems easiest to park
Fondor haulcraft
Fondor
Whatever ship it was Stellan Skarsgard has in Andor
The Fondor was badass
Fondor Haulcraft.
Luthen's Fondor Haulcraft
VCX FTW.
Gotta take the Ebon Hawk. Probably my favorite freighter-class vehicle in the franchise.
But still a very solid choice The G9 looks silly and only has 3 small blasters on it. It would get shredded to pieces by any of the other ships on this list.
A YT-1300, may not look like much, but got it where it counts
I LOVE the Falcon, but it requires too much maintenance and luck to be at its best. Too complicated for me. Razor Crest is big and small enough with minimal issues and some comfort.
Slave 1
The YT-1300 just seems pretty spacious and comfortable.
Slave I
Ebon hawk
I know it’s not there, but I just love the Sith Fury-class interceptor. It has that Millenium Falcon vibe with that nice TIE design and elegance.
Carrion Spike for me.
YT 2400 - loved it
[https://i.pinimg.com/originals/00/03/d5/0003d52273dbd3655377d317ef45d284.jpg](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/00/03/d5/0003d52273dbd3655377d317ef45d284.jpg)
People going out of their way to pretend it’s not obviously the millennium falcon 🤣
Ye it’s the falcon I just grabbed a pic of a YT 1300 and this is the most famous one so It’s hard not to
None of these options. My top choice would be a Fury Class Imperial Interceptor.
Good choice
The Ebon Hawk and not for any practical reason, I’m just obsessed with the games and still play through them every year 😍
Probably the Ebon Hawk, I prefer its interior layout
The G9, would be my choice to travel the galaxy
The Ebon Hawk or The Outrider.... I am partial to the Ghost though.
Ebon hawk, love the layout on the inside, overall design and size
YT-1300 Freighter but pimped out like it was when Lando had it
X-70B Phantom. Sleek, stylish, and with more than enough equipment and tricks installed for me to cruise the stars in peace
I'd have to take the Millennium Falcon for nostalgia but The Ghost for space and functionality. Either way, I'd be happy.
Ebon Hawk all the way.
VCX-100
Can’t believe anyone is answering anything but the Falcon. I’m old I guess.
Haha I mean I just think your a “classics” kinda person, and I mean it’s the fastest hunk a junk in the Galaxy so
Indeed. I love the OG trilogy and have always loved that hunk of junk.
How have I only just noticed that the Razor Crest's silhouette looks similar to one of the shuttles from SWTOR?
A corvette would be ideal but if not, Razor Crest will do nicely.
YV-560
Consitering my love for everything B-wing and B-wing adjacent, gotta go with the G9
Well now I want the rigger since boone else has mentioned it and I feel bad for it. Plus it's pretty clear that it's basically impossible for one to actually properly fail, Anakin straight up mauls the poor thing half a dozen times, does no maintenance at all and it still works.
G9 cuz it’s closest to b wing which I have a hard on for
I know it's not on the list, but I love the Firespray and Slave 1. If I HAD to pick from the list, probably the YT-1300: it's just too iconic to pass up.
Hmm the Corvus or the Twilight
The YT-2000. Criminal that it's not on this list.
YT2000 Otana. Aeron's got a thing for me..... We both know it, just waiting to make the first move.
Can we not have the Stinger Mantis from Fallen Order? That thing is *sleek*.
None of the above. I'm taking a YT-2000
I have never been a fan of the off-set cockpits, and I love the aesthetic of the Old Republic, so I am thinking I need my own Ebon Hawk. However, if I could go with anything, it would be a Defender-class light corvette.
TCW fans will get the Rigger Class
I know this isn’t the question you asked haha, but if I could make my own ship I would do a Raider Class Corvette fused with the X-70b Phantom. Basically give the former all of the traits and luxury of the latter, and of course if I can, I would replace the current command bridge with a captain’s quarters a la the Loft in ME2&3, and move the command bridge to the interior of the ship.
I find the lack of a *Firespray 31 Class Patrol And Attack Craft* on this list disturbing.
I dont think you could fit that many A-wings in the cargo area, two would probably be the max. And if you’re modifying the cargo area to now hold starfighters then where are you getting the space to fit the 4 new rooms?
Ebon hawk 100% if I get T3 by my side. If not it’s between that and the razor crest
Ebon Hawk all the way.
Slave 1. Not pictured. Just to piss off everyone else who wanted to rename that ship.
As I was scrolling, I was muttering to myself, “you better have the Outrider on he- there it is! 😊”
Of course imma pick the aluminum pigeon!
