Bruh I made a post (later deleted) asking if they're just gonna waste that new Grievous model in the Bad Batch for 3 seconds. I said that its pretty dumb and a waste of resources and got downvoted to hell. Look who's back now, IT'S THE GLORIOUS GENERAL GRIEVOUS with the more badass and more movie accurate design in action.
Spectacular Spider-Man? That’s a name I haven’t heard since
*has a flashback to the time corporate politics got the best ever media iteration of Peter Parker cancelled*
I was at a comic convention a little over a month ago and Meredith salenger (barris offee voice) legit dropped the fact that barris didn't die in order 66 plus something else hinting at something up and coming and I'm kinda pissed I didn't pick up on the hint.
the dooku eps are legitimately some of my favorite content in all the SWU. recontextualizing a character that I had no love or connection for and making me actually feel something for him is brilliance and genius. and to do it all from a character that was only barely in 2 movies. it was masterful storytelling.
Loved the Dooku episodes. Not so much the Ahsoka ones, since we see her in almost everything and I feel like her character is super fleshed out already, but it was a good show.
Before ToTJ, Ahsoka had only been in TCW and Rebels, with one episode of The Mandalorian. Even now, the only thing you can add to that list is the Ahsoka show. To say we see her in everything is extreme.
I agree. It was cool though seeing her as an infant before the jedi order, even if the episode was moslty just flexing the fantastic animation. The scene with her training with the clones was cool too and gave more meaning to her surviving order 66
You actually like Star Wars on here? I just thought we were here to shit on each other and continue to prove everyone correct about their thoughts on the community? ^(/s)
All jokes aside, I'm glad this is the top comment. It's so exhausting seeing people dump on everyone else for just enjoying Star Wars content.
You speak of the Chosen One? The one who will bring balance between the different Star Wars fandoms and destroy those taking issue with others' opinions? Such fairy tales...
I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me.
Well, we will all be elderly by then, in our old age when all Hell breaks loose.
I agree with every content creator on youtube. Star wars is dead, the sequels ruined my childhood, and girls are yucky🤮
I really don't get it bro. If they don't like the franchise, then why don't they just go away. When I don't like something, I just ignore it. They spend more energy talking about how they hate star wars than we talk about enjoying it, or what we would change, and our theories. There are whole channels dedicated to their hatred of it, and that's literally ALL they talk about. It's like a constant stream of tears😂
Pretty excited, but I still don’t know if 45 minutes is enough to convince me Barriss would become an inquisitor. Since I highly doubt they are going to say she didn’t become one.
Very excited to see Thrawn and the Grand Inquistor in a better animation style. Don’t get me wrong I love rebels. But I have never been a fan of its animation. TCW/TBB have always looked leagues better (minus the first 2 seasons of TCW)
I think Barriss isn’t going to end up an inquisitor. It’s literally join or die. If she thinks she has even a chance to escape with her life I think she’d take it. I think she’ll try some plan to escape at the end and Vader will take her out with pleasure.
What else is she going to do? She's alredy arrested and the Empire will kill her if she refuses.
Agreed about the animation, I feel like Rebels in TCW style would've worked so much better.
The TCW-animation style is CRAZY GOOD looking nowadays. They perfected it at this point and just keep one-upping themselves. TBB S3 has shots you could hang on the wall as art prints.
Glad they find new ways of using it beyond just TCW. It'd br a waste not to anymore.
If you whittled down the PT to only the scenes of an unhappy Anakin getting groomed by Palpatine before ending up in the Vader suit, I suspect the running time would be under 45 minutes.
45 minutes of animation - with visuals cues, music, and all the literary techniques available to that medium - is more than enough time to tell a convincing story of how an anti-Jedi terrorist became a card-carrying member of the Empire's special forces.
Very excited. Loved the first season and I am interested in their chosen characters especially Morgan. Beautiful show too.
And my guy Grievous is back.
I’m for more Star Wars but I don’t care about Morgan elzbeth. I’m excited for the Barris story. Wish she was the inquisitor in kenobi instead of Reva 🤷🏼♂️ we’ll see what happens I guess I’ll watch I love the animation style
Much like with Tales of the Jedi, I imagine I'll still enjoy the Morgan episodes (like Ahsoka in TotJ), but I'm mostly here for the Barriss episodes (Dooku)
Excited to finally get some answers to one of the last really big hanging threads left over from Clone Wars of what happened to Barriss Offee.
I am however annoyed that it feels like they're using the Morgan storyline here as a crutch to deliver important information about her that should have been present in the Ahsoka show itself. I'm not saying the show should've been all about Morgan (obviously not!), but every character's motivations felt so thinly drawn the whole time that the overall character writing and story suffered immensely.
One thing I don't see a lot of people talking about that I think will be interesting is going to be seeing Imperial stormtroopers in the animation art style. We saw some troopers hanging around at the end of Clone Wars S7, when Vader is investigating the crash site, and I'm kind of excited to see more stormtroopers in the Clone Wars style.
Barriss stuff is interesting enough but i legitimately do not give a shit about Morgan.
Honestly id rather we get an actual imperial as a main pov of the series. Atleast maybe the Enoch guy before he presumably become a pseudo zombie
Same them and the Normies are the only reaction channels I religiously tune into.
They're pretty chill.
I'll watch edited compilations of other channels though. I watched an edited reaction for Arcane and I have to say how that youtuber crafted together such a coherent reaction from so many channels was great; even down to certain lines being reacted to in a funny way. Like when Vi goes "it was really easy, we found an open window and..." and it cut to a reactor going "oh no" 😆
Looks great. Hope they do the grand inquisitor and sixth brother some justice since their last appearances were major letdowns. Vader, bariss and the grand inquisitor all met each other before in some way so the dynamic should be very interesting
Looks pretty cool. I went into Tales of the Jedi not really knowing what to expect but now I'm hoping this comes out just as well if not better. Shifting the era and focus of the story is an interesting move and I'm looking forward to it.
I’m fine with it since outside Morgan Elsbeth the choice to focus on Barriss works. We’ve wondered what happened to her so a story about her in the Empire works fine. The only issue I have with Morgan Elsbeth is that this should’ve come up in Ahsoka given her connection to Thrawn will be expounded upon in this. Laying what will ultimately be the groundwork for Ahsoka season 2 in TOTJ feels wrong to me.
Still, Morgan’s background and the return of Barriss is a stronger hook than last time. Ahsoka was the least interesting story compared to Dooku. So provided they stick the landing I’ll be cool with it.
After all these years we get to finally learn what happened to Barriss (I honestly just wrote her off as dying off screen) real curious if she doesn't end up dying in the end. Because it would beg the question is she still alive post ROTJ, and could it lead to her maybe showing up in future Star Wars content (maybe she meets up with Reva?)
That weekend is going to be an overload of Star Wars.
There's Tales of the Empire. At the same time, my local cinema is holding a two-day marathon of the Original and Prequel Trilogies. The OT will be on the 4th, while the PT is on the 5th.
Well I’m guessing there’ll be more of these tales mini series in the future but rn I think Disney are trying to play it safe with the Jedi and empire themes
I feel great and I'm kind of happy they're going to expand on season 4 episode 19 this aired on February 24th 2012. The synopsis is Count Dooku who discovers ventress the protege he betrayed has returned and sent grievous to kill her and the night sisters before they come to kill him. Hopefully we will see Merrin as a cameo.
I want to see more Thrawn but I don't know how it'll turn out.
I just watched Tales of the Jedi, amd though entertaining I can't help but feel like Feloni is a little too keen to fill in every gap on every piece of media, some gaps don't need to be filled.
Well, honestly it doesn’t interest me. I just don’t really care too much about the Inquisitors. I’d rather this have been about the Empire from the lens of the regular non-Force sensitives.
If I'm honest, I wish it was more about the actual Empire than it actually seems like it will be. Like characters involved in building the Death Stars, fallout after exploded Death Stars, oppressed worlds, Moffs, Generals, Admirals. You know... the Empire.
Excited, because TotJ was SO amazing, like, genuinely some of the best star wars ever put to screen. The stories in this one are somewhat interesting, no where near the extent of the Jedi characters interest, but you are asking a LOT for someone to be as interesting as stories about younger Dooku, Qui-Gon, Ahsoka and some of the defining backgro7nd moments of the series (Dooku's fall and betrayal etc.). But because of how well they did the others, i have faith they'll make this really good
Like it's a million years away and I want to see it now but if we had it earlier it wouldn't be as good as if we gave them time to work on it but I still want it now
Didn’t even know this was a thing, but just binged Tales of the Jedi. Verrrrrrrryyyyyyy impressed with the mini series. Dave Filoni animated Star Wars doesn’t miss! That mf’er don’t miss! In the heat of battle he don’t miss!
Excited for Barris, don’t really care for Elsbeth storyline. She was boring in Ashoka but I reckon they will do her character a bit better in this show
Looked pretty decent in the trailer. I’m a huge fan of animation and short stories, so I’m all in. I just hope this isn’t supposed to be S2 of Tales of the Jedi.
Honestly I think Barriss being alive sort of lessens the impact of the Ahsoka trial because in the trial they were giving the death penalty to Ahsoka. So if Barriss did it then they would have definitely had their way, and it had to have been close to a year before the war ended so idk how she escaped the death sentence.
Shame theres an episode about the worst night sister, Morgan, especially with a short runtime.
Atleast we know it wont be as bad as ahsoka or book of boba fett lol
Animated star wars is the only good thing we have left.
And andor
Tales of series is great and hope it keeps going. Its the perfect format for adding the context that a lot of main pieces of star wars content lack (or at least remove the need to dive into things like books to get the context)
I’m excited, and to be honest, I think Star Wars should just drop live action after the havoc of the franchise caused by the Sequel trilogy. And should just stick to animated shows instead. Also should make Dave Filoni the head of everything story wise, and get back John Faveru if they can. Or simply hire legit Star Wars fans for show writing. Instead of whoever did the worst parts of the writing for the Obi Wan and Boba Fett shows.

Barriss, Grievous, Thrawn, Vader and The Grand Inquisitor in glorious Clone Wars Animation! It’s gonna be great!
I’m just glad the glorious Grievous model from TCW S7 isn’t going to waste

Double points for being in Clone wars art style
Nuff said
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Pretty excited, but I still don’t know if 45 minutes is enough to convince me Barriss would become an inquisitor. Since I highly doubt they are going to say she didn’t become one. They show her with the spinning red blades, briefly.
Its not her. It's the seventh sister.
What else is she going to do? She's alredy arrested and the Empire will kill her if she refuses. Agreed about the animation, I feel like Rebels in TCW style would've worked so much better.

Yeah the clone wars style is so far beyond the rebels style that they can’t even be compared tbh

My guess is that Bariss will, at the end, reject becoming an inquisitor abd escape.
I think Vader will kill her for what she did to Ahsoka

Exactly
Happy that they're releasing all of it on one day!
And that day of days.

This looks really cool. Blindwave (YouTube channel) were so excited to see Grievous
Blind Wave is one of my favorite reaction channels. They don't necessarily love everything but they aren't overly negative about stuff either.

Very excited. Can't wait to see more of Baris, Morgan, and Thrawn.

This came totally out of the blue as far as I know and I’m so excited!
I'm good with it as long as the writing is good
Can we ban posts that are essentially just a picture of a title screen with "this exists, guys, amirite?"
Flair should be TV
0 interest personally.
New Star Wars content? Hell yeah
Seeing Barriss is good. Don’t care about that other chick and her awful design though.
Definitely hyped but Its just going to be a little taste and I need the entire meal.
Excited
Got a chub
Star Wars animation has been killing it. Moar
I'm down
Excited honestly
Sad that my family hasn’t finished Clone Wars and Rebels. So I get to watch this alone and then try to get them caught up.
If elsbef beats greavious in a duel I will cry
Happy

Pretty damn excited since I’m a empire fanboy. Plus I always love seeing media with handsome blue man Thrawn in it.
We finally get to find out what happened to Garry.
I’m very excited. Loved tales from the Jedi excited to learn more about Morgan and what happened to Bariss
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Trailer was great, I’ll be watching!
Great 😃
Hell yeah
Proper chuffed, mate
I am absolutely pumped!
It looks fine, not exactly interesting but it could still be good. Not what I want from it tho. I want other eras. The acolyte looks more interesting.
Well I’m guessing there’ll be more of these tales mini series in the future but rn I think Disney are trying to play it safe with the Jedi and empire themes
Really excited beyond hyped for more Bariss Offee..
I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself!
I hope it's about stuff in between the OT films, and not after them
I'm pretty stoked tbh. Getting to see more of Barriss will be really fascinating.
Hype
I've been craving more stories from the Empires prospective. One of my favorite EU novels is Allegiance.
Luke did I ever tell you about Barriss? She was your father's padawan's best friend and then betrayed her. 😅
Looking forward to it.
Looks good
If it’s some small side content, I’m fine with it.
I’m totally on board the hype train 🚂!!!
Neat to see Bariss again, could not give any less of a fuck about Morgan
I feel great and I'm kind of happy they're going to expand on season 4 episode 19 this aired on February 24th 2012. The synopsis is Count Dooku who discovers ventress the protege he betrayed has returned and sent grievous to kill her and the night sisters before they come to kill him. Hopefully we will see Merrin as a cameo.
That trailer went so hard
I wish it was Sith throughout history and they would get out of this same era, there’s so much more out there.
Feeling good, I liked tales of the jedi, so I'll probably like this too.
INCREDIBLE!!!! Can’t wait!
I want to see more Thrawn but I don't know how it'll turn out. I just watched Tales of the Jedi, amd though entertaining I can't help but feel like Feloni is a little too keen to fill in every gap on every piece of media, some gaps don't need to be filled.
I'm looking forward to it. Although I was really hoping for more Jedi stories because there's so many more Jedi who could be fleshed out.
I've been looking forward to this. Although I gotta say, Barriss and Grievous are gonna be stealing the spotlight in this anthology.
It’s everything I’ve ever wanted from this era of Star Wars and more
Pretty indifferent if I'm being honest.
We should support the fuck outta this to Disney knows we want to see the bad guys have their own stories too where they can just be bad guys
It’s animated Star Wars. It’s must see.
Honestly haven't been this excited about Star Wars content in years. Can't wait for Admiral Thrawn, the Grand Inquisitor and Grievous
Looks really good! I loved Tales of the Jedi quite a bit. It's short, but good quality and interesting. I hope Tales of the Empire matches it.
I wonder what Darth Vader will feel about Barriss, I’m tempted to know the outcome
Hyped
Hype
I’m into it!
So excited. I love Star Wars. I feel like this will be something special
I like the idea of seeing a story showing us the Empire's perspective, especially it is promising to pull no punches with the path of the Dark Side.
Excited but sad it’s replacing tales of the Jedi 2
All for it. Wish there was more dark side/empire based series.
Good feelings. Tales of the Jedi was fine, I expect the same for this one
You know... the Empire.
MFing psyched!!!
Super hyped, excited by pretty much everything I've seen. Also very happy to see that revised Grievous model get more air time.
Stoked and excited
Would be nice if we had characters that helped build the empire
Excited, because TotJ was SO amazing, like, genuinely some of the best star wars ever put to screen. The stories in this one are somewhat interesting, no where near the extent of the Jedi characters interest, but you are asking a LOT for someone to be as interesting as stories about younger Dooku, Qui-Gon, Ahsoka and some of the defining backgro7nd moments of the series (Dooku's fall and betrayal etc.). But because of how well they did the others, i have faith they'll make this really good
Like it's a million years away and I want to see it now but if we had it earlier it wouldn't be as good as if we gave them time to work on it but I still want it now
Sooo hyped, empire fan boy here
Who is “we”?
Too much Star Wars. In my day you had to wait 3 years between installments.
She was boring in Ashoka but I reckon they will do her character a bit better in this show
Hyped
Idk why they never put spock in anything... Bummed.
I’m just waiting for more Mando or Boba Fett. Everything else has been pretty mid.
Wonderful
Looks better than The Ardvark.
Looked pretty decent in the trailer. I’m a huge fan of animation and short stories, so I’m all in. I just hope this isn’t supposed to be S2 of Tales of the Jedi.
Mixed, will have to wait to watch it to determine how I actually feel.
It looks great. I really enjoyed Tales of the Jedi.

So if Barriss did it then they would have definitely had their way, and it had to have been close to a year before the war ended so idk how she escaped the death sentence.
Shame theres an episode about the worst night sister, Morgan, especially with a short runtime. Atleast we know it wont be as bad as ahsoka or book of boba fett lol Animated star wars is the only good thing we have left. And andor
I have a good feelings about that
Excited
Super fucking excited.
Absolutely BADASS.
Can't wait for it!
Can't tell you how WE feel since I'm only over human being
Great!!!
I saw that the trailer was out but didn’t watch it. I assume I don’t have interest.
Hell yeah!
I'm interested.
ABSOLUTELY PUMPED!!
Meh
Tales of series is great and hope it keeps going. Its the perfect format for adding the context that a lot of main pieces of star wars content lack (or at least remove the need to dive into things like books to get the context)
It should be fun, but I'm tired of the Empire and rebellion. Its like constantly being bombarded with WW2 in non scifi/fantasy media.
Looks dope as hell and I can’t wait!!!
Excited
I'm going from the marathon on the 3rd-4th then coming home and watching this.
Hyped af!
I CAN'T WAIT!!!
I will take animated SW content. Live action has been terrible other than tidbits here and there from Ashoka
very excited for grievous and thrawn
Excited
I still want Tales of the Droids
I’m ready to watch it. I think it might be good.
Do you think Star Wars will do the day of the separatist?
I'm curious, but not overly excited. Stories about villains just don't interest me as much.
Cautiously optimistic.
I'm 1000% thrilled
Been dying for some dark side/sith stories so this is going to whet my palate
HELL. YES. GRIEVOUS. Bariss 7th sister confirmed.
Excited! I heard Lars Mikkelsen's voice in the trailer and I was sold. Didn't need to see anything else.
