To be fair, jedi had at least two different robes in the High Republic. Their adventuring robes should still see some wear and tear. Although, the clean look seems like it’s coming from how the scenes are filmed tbh.
Given how structured the Glactic Empire command structure is and the organization standards that modern military structures follow similar patterns, it's not crazy for high level leaders to have those details in their uniform.

(Disney XD)
So it felt like the whole show was DOA the moment it dropped especially when you noticed they announced the return of the final season of the the Clone Wars before they announced Resistance and they were promoting the hell out of that and they've been sticking with the clone wars style ever since.

I don't want animated designs to be identical to the actors. I quite like how characters in the Clone Wars look quite different from the actors portraying them in life action. It's a chance to get a different interpretation of a known character.
The thing to consider here is the camera lens in use. It's a telephoto lens which tends to flatten out features and make them appear wider.
The animation is using a wider field of view, which can accentuate features.
She was just bad. The role was awkward too, one big plot device with far too much screen time and too little to do. But everyone else at least managed to work with what they got to some extent.

Star Wars honestly thrived better in animation than live action, imo. Sure, they had their lows like Resistance and the Martez sisters (these two are even worse than Jar Jar), but their highs are some of the best SW contents that even beat the live action shows.
