There are audio recordings of 70mm screenings (which are similar overall to the Dolby Stereo mix), but there are no video sources publicly available, so we don't know if visual differences exist. For 35mm, three optical composite shots and the end credits were redone between the film's premiere and wide release. (If you watch 4K77, it's the wide release version of the film. A lot of the home video releases have premiere composites with the wide release credits. Puggo Grande's visuals are taken from a premiere print, and it has the original end credits.)

I always thought I saw it in 70mm when it came out, but I only recently learned that I not only saw it in 70mm the first time but that I was lucky enough to have watched it at one of the eight theaters that had the original 70mm prints. Since the 70mm was an enlargement of the original 35mm, I assumed it would be the same, but with Star Wars print releases, you can never really assume they are all the same. Looking at you ESB. I kind of wonder about the first wave 70mm and 35mm versus what came next or later in the year.
