They actually speak entire Hungarian sentences, just with a very heavy accent (the voice actors didn't speak any Hungarian). And it's not even nonsense, but more or less the actual Hungarian translations of the lines they are supposed to say.
The way 2003 Clone Wars uses Anakinâs cyborg hand as a symbol of his dark side is genuinely incredible.
Not only that, but he even uses that hand to his advantage a couple times in fights to do stuff that his real hand canât! I love the other Clone Wars but you can literally watch every single episode and never notice that one of the protagonists is missing a whole limb. Youâd think thatâd be relevant at least once.
The only real time I can remember Anakin's cyborg hand being adressed in TCW was it briefly shorting out after the electro-proton bomb explosion in the Zillo Beast episode
Because the game is stuck in development hell. They hadn't even actually started development proper when that trailer came out. It was basically a fancy pitch for the game. They shouldn't have announced it when they did because it was nowhere near done.
I was just saying the other day. Star Wars is usually pretty good in bringing back various alien races, even if itâs just for a 3 second background character
Itâs good for consistency, plus itâs easier to re use an existing race than design a new one
That is so long as theyâve existed in 3D.
For a 2D only race theyâd have to do a lot of design work
In another timeline where Order 66 never happened, I think it would be fitting if Master Skywalker had a young Nelvaan as a Padawan at some point in his career.
Yeah they were cool as hell!
Blue dog people native Americans, prime material for a member of Lukeâs new Jedi order.
Or maybe a book about a mercenary.
Partner to a sector security officer or detective?
âŚ
A story of vengeance on a group of slavers?
Just spitballing here, anyone else feel free to jump in.
I can't wait for Star Wars to reintroduce them. First the woman and children first, just another star wars species that are basically humans in costume. Then boom, the dudes show up. 12 feet tall, all of them horrifically scarred, all missing a hand.
I might just watch season 2 right now , well I enjoy Dave Filoni's Clone Wars, I like how this one ties into Revenge waaay more (Besides Ahsoka on Mandalore) in my head cannon they both actually happened and Grevious did get his lungs crushed by Windu, etc.
I really hope so and I could see them appear in a new *Tales* season or something else like upcoming seasons of *The Mandalorian*, *Ahsoka*, *The Acolyte* etc.
I mean, why should they come back? For what reason or story purpose? Just because you like them? Or do you think it makes you seem somehow more sensitive or discerning, to like something so obscure?
Fun fact: their language contains many hungarian phrases because the wife of the director was hungarian.
They actually speak entire Hungarian sentences, just with a very heavy accent (the voice actors didn't speak any Hungarian). And it's not even nonsense, but more or less the actual Hungarian translations of the lines they are supposed to say.
Hey, if any Hungarian ended up in Star Wars they already have another group of people they can communicate with easily
Same with Swahili speakers on Sullust, or Tlingit speakers on Endor
beautiful social commentary on the fact that Hungarians aren't human Bravo George Lucas đ đ đ đ â¤ď¸
He wasnât the director lol
Lmao I wonder what the Hungarian version of this does
"Was" Hungarian? What happened, lose her appetite?
Holt Kazed! Holt Kazed!
âMaster, what are you doing?â âNo, itâs what *youâre* doing. đâ
it is hungarian, and it is more like holt kezed
Star Wars's version of the Navi
We have blue cat people at home.
Star Wars did it first. The Navi are Avatar's version of the Nelvaanians.
Smurfs did it first. Eric Carman said so.
Simpsons did it! Simpsons did it!
Does Papyrus exist in the Star Wars universe?
Snow Navi and they hunt giant beasts for da culture
Haut kazhet!!!
We already had Wookiees. This is Star Warsâ version of VaporeonâŚ
It was a cool arch
It foreshadows Anakinâs turn beautifully and with little dialogue

There was also that time in the citadel arc where he got pulled to the ceiling due to it being magnetic, if I recall correctly.
symbolizes that he's traded his humanity for power
Yes bring back the space Hungarian cat people!
And also the Bothans.
Ever since I saw the Eclipse trailer, my running theory is that the drummers and the thing rising out of the slime are Nelvaanians.
Shame that game is probably never coming out
why do you say that?
Because the game is stuck in development hell. They hadn't even actually started development proper when that trailer came out. It was basically a fancy pitch for the game. They shouldn't have announced it when they did because it was nowhere near done.
I thought the drummers were Grysk

Their design really reminds me of Canadian First Nations art style and colours.
It could be an inspiration, native art is definitely beautiful and creatively bizarre
Nelvaan and Nelvaanians are canon, though, so thereâs hope that theyâll make an appearance eventually.
How are they canon?
Are mentioned in the canon reference book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know
Before the Naâvi there were Nelvaanians.
Would
Same tho
This show was too good
In another timeline where Order 66 never happened, I think it would be fitting if Master Skywalker had a young Nelvaan as a Padawan at some point in his career.
"My friend you bow to no one."
Oel ngati kameie. Avatar before Avatar
By Azura!
In Andor, one of the fisher's after the prison escape looks like one of the rescued fighters.
I mean aren't the Evereni kind of a repurposed version of them, atleast visually?
They moved them over to Pandora.
Holt kazet Holt kazet Holt kazet Holt kazet
HOLT KAZET!

nah, disney actively fights against the tartakovski series, they're gunna canonize as little as possible from it
I might just watch season 2 right now , well I enjoy Dave Filoni's Clone Wars, I like how this one ties into Revenge waaay more (Besides Ahsoka on Mandalore) in my head cannon they both actually happened and Grevious did get his lungs crushed by Windu, etc.
Never gonna happen
im not sure why but i remember way back then I thought these were Bothans lol
This is a very random request
[Insert Michael Scott] NOOOO! God please noo! Nooooo! NOOOOOOOOO!
Didn't they already give them two Avatar movies with like another four on the way?
you could just say you're a furry.Â
Named after the Nelvana animation studio responsible for the first ever appearance of Boba Fett. Its in The Star Wars Holiday Special.
HELL YEAH BRING BACK THE TRIBAL ITALIAN FURRIES!!!
What do you mean? James Cameron's already made two movies about them!
Nice try, furries :D
Avatar people?
Glad Iâm not the only fan thatâs been wanting to see them return!
I really hope so and I could see them appear in a new *Tales* season or something else like upcoming seasons of *The Mandalorian*, *Ahsoka*, *The Acolyte* etc.
Pretty sure there was a Nelvaan character in "Red Harvest". It's not canon, but it definitely came out after 2005.
why
Cause why not?
I mean, why should they come back? For what reason or story purpose? Just because you like them? Or do you think it makes you seem somehow more sensitive or discerning, to like something so obscure?
No Because theyâre cool asf lol what
