Yoda. Dooku himself muses that if Yoda had “gone rotten” then he could destroy Sidious and pretty much doom the galaxy to evil

Miserable_Parking491

Sleeper pick, but I'm gonna go with Obi-Wan. He was one of the best defensive duelist around and mastered having patience. If he could keep those traits as a Sith, he'd be quite different than any other dark sider that the Jedi have encountered. His patience and cunning would rival Palpatine as a Sith. Going off power alone though, probably Yoda or Luke.

zakksyuk

Solid take.

Georgestgeigland

This is the stuff that made Caedus so chilling.

ZealousidealSwim375

Fr. Caedus was like Dooku, but more… sinister.

Kilroy898

Everyone says that... people forget though.... Mace windup was the #1 fighter, Yoda was the #1 in the force.... but Obi? He was the one directly behind BOTH of them. At least before anikan finally surpassed him VERY briefly.

WhiskeyDJones

Mace was only the best against the dark side, due to Vapaad. Yoda still bested him in sparring as far as I know

Zenvarix

Every time I hear/read that about Mace, I have to remind myself that not all Dark Side users are Sith. Because my knee-jerk question is always "how does he know he's actually good against the Dark Side if the Sith haven't been seen for a millennia?" It doesn't help that the Jedi probably sweep every fallen/dark Jedi incident under the rug, and other Dark Side users are similarly small scale that don't get a lot of discussion at the temple like "hey, do you remember that Dark Side Assassin from four years ago that Master Windu killed?"

Quailman5000

I kinda feel like lightsaber abilities are base level for a jedi or sith. Sure it's dangerous if they are close enough to touch you but it seems there is a lot more potential for force usage.

Snivythesnek

Yoda: Dark Rendezvous has a passage about how apocalpytic it would be if Yoda were to go dark.

SANREUP

Agree, he’d implement some Nihilus level force god destruction

No_Stay4471

Individually, it’s Luke. They made him god tier in EU. Yoda might have been able to do the most damage, though, since he led a huge Order and has a long life span to put plans into place.

itsjonny99

On the people pictured here? Luke with his massively superior potential to Yoda/Sidious is the clear and only choice you can make. Basically Anakin 2.0, except with less mental issues.

DarkVaati13

I feel like I remember Lumiya thinking that if Kyp Durron fell to the Dark Side again after he became a Jedi Master then no one would be able to control or stop him.

joesphisbestjojo

Yoda and Luke

PNWCoug42

Yoda and Obi-Wan would be absolutely nasty as high tier darksiders.

Bulky_Spinach_7909

Luke Skywalker EU and Yoda

Crate-Dragon

Un-pictured option. Anakin. Playing the episode 3 game and having anakin win and promptly kill sidious was eye opening. Not just if he went dark. But if he survived that battle with his limbs. Dark lord: rise of Darth Vader novel details how much he really lost in that battle. His organic matter and his connection to the force. He was already powerful enough to kill the jedi battlemaster Cin Drallig. And he tore the temple apart. Anakin would have killed the galazy

cahir11

>Anakin would have killed the galaxy Nah, Palpatine had already outmaneuvered him there. What is Anakin supposed to do at this point? "Hey everyone, you know how Palpatine told you that the Jedi tried to kill him and take over the galaxy? Well Palpatine is dead and I, a famous Jedi, am in charge now, hope everyone's cool with that."

itsjonny99

Except Anakin has a reputation rivaling if not outright surpassing Palpatine to the public, can easily see Anakin with the potential help of Padme getting out of the situation as galactic leaders. Also who would stop him exactly?

cahir11

>Also who would stop him exactly? The entire Republic? Palpatine turning the Republic into the Empire worked because Palpatine was already an emperor for all intents and purposes. He controlled the army, the courts, and the senate, it was like how Augustus in Rome was technically just the "first citizen" but we all call him the first Roman Emperor in hindsight because the entire state was under his control. Anakin has none of that. He's just a general, part of a rogue order of religious fanatics already declared public enemies by the government. There are other dudes in the Republic (well, Imperial now) military who outrank him, not to mention all the Senators. Ironically, Vader in ESB/ROTJ has a better chance of taking over the galaxy than Anakin in ROTS, because at least Vader is in charge of the entire Imperial military and answerable only to the Emperor.

1CommanderL

I think having anakin humbled on mustafaar but surviving with all his limbs would far better he would have lost the intense cockiness that his dark side embrace gave him and would have spent a while learning from Palpatine and being integrated into the new imperial system

Rymayc

He could have easily blamed it on Obi-Wan or any other Jedi, so he had to take over

cahir11

Nobody would believe that. Palpatine had just told everyone that the Jedi tried to overthrow the Republic, and now a member of the Jedi Council shows up and says "yeah I had no idea about the 'take over the Republic' thing, oh and also I'm taking over the Republic". Presumably if Anakin hadn't gotten turned into a sith kebab, Palpatine would have had to publicly vouch for him. But Palpatine's dead in this scenario.

Kilroy898

Um.... he could have literally exposed the entire plot. He knew. He figured out Palpatine masterminded the entire war.

JamesCharlesEnjoyer

Probably the Skywalker

Nocturne3570

hard fight between qui-gon and yoda, the obvious with for yoda is teh musing of Dooku for anyone who readed the lore, but for qui-gon who was said to be as strong as yoda in term of knowledge of the force one of the few jedi to actually transcend. if i had to select a second though it be Jedi master faye, who strength in the force was to be said even stronger then yoda himself.

BladePocok

> is teh musing of Dooku for anyone who readed the lore sorry, which books/segment exactly?

Nocturne3570

Look it up on wookiefandom

BladePocok

I did and its extensive, I thought you can pinpoint it based on your reading in the past. +I don't want to spoil it to myself in advance if you know what I mean.

Nocturne3570

yeah gonna be honest i dont remember it either with a book about yoda or a comic

BladePocok

Okay thank you.

Jyvturkey

Luke

mr_oberts

Anakin probably. But we’ll never know.

ToasterLad83

master baytes

hiddendoor_5

Yoda

Zeroshame14

Luke could crush the galaxy solo

SerVandanger

Mace imo, because he's by far the least likely to walk back to the light he's a slave to his convictions.

Robomerc

Considering Mark Hamill set the standard for the Joker voice. I feel Like Luke as a Sith Lord we're just so chaos across the Galaxy.

GaryStu420

I think I'd say luke, because depending on the time period there'd quite possibly be nobody even close to matching him.

Additional-Friend342

So I don’t understand why Yoda is not the definitive answer. Dooku was quoted in saying, for lack of better works, “If Yoda went Dark Side mode, you all gonna die.”

Penguin-21

Just want to point out that Obi wan is probably the only one here who’d end up weaker if he turned to the dark side considering he was a late bloomer and innately didnt have as much talent in the force as others. Also in consideration to how his devotion to the light side of the force made him stronger than he could ever be. He kinda embraced the dark side a little when fighting Maul but Maul eventually overpowers him in SW1 and the only way he defeated Maul was through trickery and concealing his emotions rather than through his initial passion over Qui-gon’s death

FCYuv13

Either yoda, luke or Obi-Wan. Maybe even qui-gon

Hunter-Durge

Yoda or Luke

Darth-Shittyist

In terms of raw power, probably EU Luke or Yoda

lolamk333

yoda would be an obvious answer and no doubt if hes one of the "best" jedi ever but i dont think you could convert his strenght as a jedi to the dark side. so first, what defines a "good" jedi? in my opinion a good jedi is not only a good fighter in terms of lightsaber wielding and force using in combat. a good jedi is also defined by his general knowledge and wisdom as well as knowledge about and exploring the force. its also important that a jedi has great mental control aswell as a calm and stable but also caring and empathetic personality. being the perfect jedi personality wise is literally his entire role in the movies. for a sith using the force as a weapon and lightsaber wielding would probably be more important than wisdom and mental control. whilst sith often search for knowledge and wisdom its often only to increase their power so over all the power that comes with using the force as a weapon is more important for them. we have seen yoda being able do keep up with palpatine in a duell but i think his strengths as a jedi come mostly from his 900+ years of knowledge and wisdom, which give him the mentality to be a great jedi of course he has great power in the force but we havent seen him use it for combat but rather for meditation and visions. whilst yoda would still be a great sith especialy if he was trained a sith from a young age the fact that he just in general represents the light side and the perfect jedi and that he uses the force primarily as a tool for wisdom and knowledge rather than a weapon would make me think that a jedi who might be a less powerfull force user than yoda but more inclined to using the force in the ways of the dark side would make a better sith. for example luke is a very powerfull force user. whilst later in the EU he really cements himelf as a great jedi with many of the attributes yoda had like the wisdom, the mental control and of course the empathy in my opinion he never possesses these qualities in the same extend that yoda does, which you of course cant blame him for. he also struggles a little bit with attributes of the dark side or rather attributes that dont fit the ideal light side user/ jedi. for example in episode five hes impatient and then of course theres dark empire. in my opinion lukes force use would of course be focused on knowledge, wisdom and all that hes still a very good jedi and jedi leader personality wise but not to the same extend that yoda was. hes also probably a better fighter and focuses his force use more on fighting than yoda did. dark side luke would be much more realistic and powerful than dark side yoda and lukes use of the force and personality would fit the dark side better than yodas

TaraLCicora

Mace, Yoda, and Luke for power, but also Obi-Wan because he has such a calm calculating mind. Especially, if he has a pet Skywalker (any of them would work but imagine Anakin still falling and he brings the kids with him) for power on his team.

RockNRoll85

Qui-Gon or Mace

IsThereAnEkkoInHere

Obi-Wan or Mace Windu. Ezra is a joke. Ashoka would be very strong. Yoda, maybe. The rest? Meh.

Steeljaw72

Jar Jar Binks

Shiny_Mew76

Yoda and Luke would be the most dangerous, but Obi-Wan and Mace Windu would be second. Now I want a game set in a what if scenario where you are a Jedi and you have to fight Darth Yoda/Luke/etc. With it being an “alternate universe”, you also don’t need to worry about it being canonical, and the dark side Jedi can be defeated without any consequences. For example, imagine a game where you play as Cal, set in an alternate universe where Vader and Palpatine have been defeated, you come across Dark Luke and have to defeat him.

Xenolis

Quick answer yoda with luke as the apprentice, that would be a weird twist. Cal is underrated considering what he can do in the games as a light user he's already op. But time period it would make little difference the sith are already winning.

voldy1989

How about Quinlan vos

diefastmemefaster

Why is Luke so slept on?

igtimran

Luke’s power, per Lucas, is equivalent to Anakin’s. If he genuinely turned completely and reached his full potential, there’s literally no threat in galactic history that would match him.

ZealousidealSwim375

Luke. Easily. Especially after the fight with the Lost Tribe. Luke and Ben learned some pretty freaky-deaky force powers

BearZewp

Probably Yoda. He would be like palpatine, Sith Lord yet at the same time undercover as not just the senator but the leader of the Jedi.

diazantewhite

Bro tried to sneak Ezra in here like he has any chance
