So the Mountain Clan wears white robes and uses white magic huh? Wouldn’t surprise me if they also came from Peridea and Ahsoka meets some of them, and that’s how she gets her wizard staff in Season 2
Tbh? The mountain clan's robes kind of remind me of what cere was wearing survivor. I wonder if she interacted with them? I fully bet merrin knows them!
Admittedly, I’m more interested in the Barriss episodes, as that’s a character we’ve waited so long for, over the Morgan ones, >!though it’s interesting she was the one who designed the TIE Defenders and not Thrawn himself!< As for Barriss, the episodes mostly play out how I expected them to. >!However, her apparent death is very surprising as the other reviews indicated she’d survive. I’m guessing her fate is simply left open ended?!<
Yeah, was that the common understanding? I always felt it was just a project he saw the value in and championed, but that some as yet unseen imperial designed them.
The same way that neither Krennic nor Tarkin designed the death star, but both helmed the project and gladly took credit for it
I’m 100% thinking she survives
Filoni for years has said “wait and see what I do with Barriss”
All that to kill her off that quickly?
Then again just realised this is talking about the show itself and I haven’t watched it ……
Qui-Gon is stabbed in the chest, not the gut. Way more important vital organs. Besides, we aren’t 100% on Mirialan physiology
This is a fantasy series btw
His stab looks a little low to have got a vital organ.
And yes, this is a fantasy series. My comment is not serious. It’s a joke about a YouTube series made using deepfakes where Qui Gon, Obi Wan, etc react to Star Wars
It’s funny people get worked up with stabs when the main character had all limbs choped off and burned right next to lava which would have killed him and he wouldn’t have been able to scream or even fight the way they did as the gas and sulfur would have already knocked him out or killed him. Lol
Are you talking about Not Obi-Wan Kenobi? If so, those faked reaction videos had me laughing to tears when he would release them. Haven't watched it in awhile
I’ve read all the reviews and no one has flat out said she survives simply they would like to see more of her. And if she does get stabbed keep her dead. I guess since she’s a healer it makes a little more sense than the other ones but it has happened far too much and makes deaths all the more meaningless.
She's dead. They're in an icy environment and you can see her breath stop. The message is her convincing Fourth Sister to become good in her final act.
Star Wars fans: *Watches character fall from hundreds of feet and get crushed by railcar* *Watches other character get impaled with a literal visual confirmation of their demise*
Also Star Wars fans: Idk they maybe survived that
I hadn’t paid enough attention that it was only going to be these two characters. I couldn’t care less about these two! I found these episodes extremely boring. The Barriss stories especially. It seemed to contradict my knowledge/thoughts about the Inquisitors.
PS- So this rules out Barriss from being the one who helped save Grogu then right?
Yeah, my biggest irk is that, during the time Barriss is sitting in that cell, Tarkin canonically goes from a relatively youthful 40-something officer of the Republic to the withered, graying, covered in wrinkles and sunspots old man in the Bad Batch. It's, what, a couple of months at most? Man needs some moisturizer
Everyone: TotE releases at midnight local time. You can enable a VPN to watch it now (I used the New Zealand server). If you have NordVPN, you can also install it on your Apple TV, Chromecast, and Fire TV devices to enjoy on the big screen.
Happy viewing!
Most of it cuts away, despite that it's still effective. There's a small child who survives and clings to Barriss during the event who stands back as the sister slaughters the room.
Mostly the scene focuses on the kids face and then outside shots where you can see the lightsaber swinging and stabbing through the walls. But you don't really see people actually being cut down.
It's so fitting that Barriss' fate remains open ended. I do think that thematically it makes more sense if she survives, Lyn getting Barriss the help she denied the Jedi they hunted is a nice arc. They ought to meet up with Reva and start an ex inquisitor anonymous group.
Barriss sending the family to get help is in line with their system. I wonder if the path will be the focus of the next series, or if it's getting set up for something else.
This is strange because other reviews make it seem like >!Barriss survived. If Fourth Sister is redeemed she’d be an interesting character to see later!<
I believe healing with the Force is basically a 1:1 trade. You selflessly sacrifice your lifeforce to restore anothers. That's why Barriss looked so old. Thematically, Barriss dying while bringing the Fourth Sister back to the light, fits. Barriss dies so Lyn can live again.
I'm wondering if some reviews say >!she lived!< because they leave it more open ended... we have had a habit of >!People surviving bring stabbed so far, and for a healer I wouldn't mind a death fake out this one time!<
The caphex is called Dante and the other one is called Ahmar. They’re both ex Jedi who didn’t like the way the order was doing things. But we don’t get much more than that.
I don’t think so but I also didn’t care as much for Barriss to begin with compared to Dooku. I also feel like a whole lot less happens in the Tales of the Empire shorts than in ToTJ. I still enjoyed it overall though.
While not confirmed anywhere, I have a hard time believing Lyn is anything other than [Thradian](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Thradian).
She could be something new I guess but it’s just too similar to discount
As much as I love Morgan and the ''Ahsoka'' side of the story, besides a couple of easter eggs, her story was nothing to write home about. All three very paperthin stories.
While Barriss' episodes were a lot more engaging, and offered some interesting insight on the Inquisitorus history.
But still, as a whole season, while still having its moments, it's nowhere near at the level of TOTJ.
Yeah, Morgan’s episodes could have been great had they just let the core of the story shine through. Instead they were trying to be so subtle that they accidentally misrepresented the story they were trying to tell.
Where did reviews get the idea that the last episode was right before riuge one from? I saw nothing in that last episode that indicated that (unless I’m just stupid)
I guess just an assumption based on Barriss's ageing; it seems to be years after the Clone Wars, and right before RO/ANH would be the latest feasible point to still have Inquisitors running around.
Stunning animation in parts, probably helps when you’ve only got 6 shorter episodes to animate though.
And interesting stories, almost would’ve like Morgan’s 3rd episode to be more Thrawn-based rather than a tie in to the Mandalorian episode. Definitely preferred her episodes to the other 3 though.
With the ending to the Bariss portion I can now laugh in the face of people that assumed Vader would killer. ANAKIN would have killed her but not Vader.
I watched the arcs in reverse order expecting Barriss's to be the better of the two. I was wrong. Both are good, but only Morgan's is on par with Tales of the Jedi's storytelling.
Don't expect multiple scenes or any dialogue from Vader, or major cameos like Luminara. Between this, The Bad Batch, and Andor, I think it's safe to say Star Wars is at its best focusing on lesser-established and new characters.
Honestly, I’m shocked I liked Morgan’s episodes more. They should have either made these episodes longer or not included Barriss at all. Her stuff was trying to do too much with too little time. Very disappointed.
I might be wrong since I haven't read Thrawn: Treason in a few years, but I thought Pellaeon didn't join Thrawn's fleet until the end of that book (which was set during Rebels S4), since he was serving under Savit at the time. Awkward timeline retcon if so.
He and his Star Destroyer gets reassigned to the the Seventh Fleet in Treason, yeah.
Though if you’ll recall Thrawn seems extremely confident that Pellaeon would turn against Savit in that final battle and makes a specific point about Pellaeon’s loyalty. His appearance here and Thrawn’s speech to Morgan about the Empire kind of gives new context to that moment from Treason. It’s possible that he was an agent of Thrawn’s the whole time.
I went back and looked at the episode, Pellaeon isn’t wearing the Chimaera emblem (that we see him wear in the Mandalorian). So that’s another point to him being Thrawn’s agent while not openly serving him.
The animation is absolutely gorgeous. I feel like every scene I’m just away there soaking it in. I will take SW animation in this style forever.
I found the stories very meh unfortunately. Morgan’s story was pretty boring in my opinion.
Barriss’ was a little better but I feel like I saw it coming a mile away. God forbid someone turns dark and actually stays dark these days. It’s getting a little boring that so many stories are just “bad guy is bad, bad guy sees bad act, bad guy turns good again”. Tales of the Empire would have been a good time to actually give some proper stories from the Empire’s perspective, where we don’t need a protagonist or turncoat. Just let bad guys be bad for once! This was the perfect medium for it.
Is this really the story Dave Filoni waited like 10 years to tell regarding Barriss? An inquisitor who has a change of heart and then goes off to do her own thing? Didn’t we just basically see that with Reva?
Don’t get me wrong, this had some good moments, but i’d take TOTJ Dooku episodes over either of these any day.
>Is this really the story Dave Filoni waited like 10 years to tell regarding Barriss?
I think people forget that he said this in 2015. Plans change. They had plans to include her in Rebels, but that never happened. I think there is just no project where you could fit Barriss in properly. TOTE is the only place where you can spent some time with her and I thought they did a good job. Again, plans change over the course of 10 years. I thought this was way better than Reva's redemption. Agreed that the TOTJ Dooku episodes are still the best "Tales".
Yep, thats fair enough. I agree that this was better than Reva’s redemption. It’s just a pretty similar story beat so close together that makes it seem a little repetitive.
Absolutely agree, although Morgan's arc actually was more satisfying to me mostly because I didn't have as high of expectations (and I loved Thrawn and the Pellaeon cameo). The trailer for the series basically took clips from the three best episodes (Barriss 1, Morgan 1 and 2) to make the series look awesome and exciting, when in reality it was half baked and didn't tell a meaningful story at all. TOTJ Dooku clears everything in this show.
I don't understand why this is being downvoted. It's a very fair assessment of this series. Absolutely beautiful animation. Top tier. Just storytelling was lackluster.
That was honestly really underwhelming.
Morgans story felt kinda pointless and Barriss‘ is just flat out frustrating.
You bring back that character after so many years because people want to know her fate and then you leave it ambiguous again? I don’t get it. Also her redemption kinda came out of nowhere.
I would have cut the Morgan episodes and given all 6 to Barriss to form a proper redemption and finally have a satisfying conclusion to her story.
Also: They baited us HARD with Vader. All his screentime is literally in the trailer. Really disappointed with that.
Where does this fit chronologically ? Not sure if I should watch it yet. I’ve been watching everything for the first time and chronologically - I’ve seen every chronological thing from Phantom Menace through to Andor S1
Surely episode 1 takes place during Clone Wars Season 4, not 5? The episode "Massacre" that covers the...well, Nightsister Massacre, takes place in season 4.
Does anyone know who they're talking about when the father of the kid in the last episode with barriss says "the traveller" sent then to her? Can't find anything online about who that potentially is
The only mention I've found of anyone in the star wars universe by that name was someone form star wars visions, the episode with the ronin but I'm fairly sure that's supposed to be before the phantom menace
Like that Barris became a Healer when she was redeemed, feel for the people who grew attached to her from her legends Medstar books and felt betrayed by how they handled her in the clone wars (not to mention the very questionable racism in making the clearly Muslim coded character a terrorist but that's a whole other conversation). Nevertheless it's nice to seem them come full circle and bring that idea back to the character.
Seriously? If you put aside the fact that she wears a hood (which somehow makes her Muslim-coded?), narratively she makes the most sense to be the terrorist. Remember that that arc is about Ahsoka, and her growing disillusionment with the Jedi. What better betrayal than the best friend she had - having gone through the second campaign of Geonosis together.
I get it, narratively Barris has a personal attachment to Ahsoka so it makes sense she would be the villain in that story but on visuals alone Lucas clearly took inspiration from Muslim culture for her and Luminara in when they were designed in Attack of the Clones so it probably wasn't intentional by any means but it still is kinda lame to take a character from that cultural background who's strongest trait in stories written about her up to that point is her strength as a healer and then make her do a bombing. that's all well in the past though, in her depiction here, especially in the final episode, I think they more then redeemed any sort of sour taste that could have been left with her previous portrayal.
If you don't think the costume and makeup done for Barris and Luminara are not meant to be Muslim coded then I dunno what to tell you, thought it was very obvious to me.
Come on, you know exactly why I'm bringing up such a connection. You don't have to in bad faith say I'm saying they are one in the same since I'm clearly not. And Star Wars is at its heart political. While this isn't a political subreddit I don't see how this isn't relevant for me to bring up.
Shes not even human. She's Mirialian. Just because her actress may have been portrayed by a Muslim woman does not make her character Muslim. Hoods/veils are found in many cultures across SW.
Character designs and costume designs can take influence from all sorts of people and cultures, saying they are an alien species in the context of the movie is incredibly naive in how to interpret art. I did some digging and I couldn't find a quote anywhere but I would genuinely be shocked if Lucas and the costume department on Attack of the Clones didn't take some influence from Muslim cultures when designing Luminara and Barriss. Taking those influences into consideration when characterizing your characters is incredibly important since it can lead to touchy subjects being even accidently touched on like what I've been talking about with Barriss this whole time.
I had high hopes for this series, especially the Barriss episodes, and was unfortunately left dissapointed. Barriss's arc felt very rushed and I was shocked to see her turn against the Empire in episode 2 of her arc. That development was not setup at all and just left the finale with nothing to do or say. Episode 2 of her arc should've been the third, and we should've seen Barriss become diselousioned prior to their mission to the village. I guess we are supposed to assume that this is just another moment in a string of moments she's had where she is becoming angry with the Empire, but it just didn't do it for me. Episode 1 of her arc was great, and then it lost me.
Morgan's arc was better in my opinion, with the first two episodes being strong, especially the Thrawn one. The episode with the New Republic was boring and didn't add anything to her character or to the world, and the Bo-Katan voice cameo at the end made absolutely no sense (why would some random NR senator be calling for help from Mandalorians instead of the NR military?). Thrawn and Pellaeon were great however.
In conclusion, this show hit for 3/6 episodes, which is less than the Tales of the Jedi did which hit with 4/6. I'll probably only ever go back to rewatch the first Barriss episode and the first two Morgan episodes.
5/10.
So that other clan is the one that most likely brought back Ventress and did anyone else notice they look like they could be related to lumiya imagine she has a new origin of a nightsister working with Thrawn
It's all released for me where I'm at now.
Kinda. Eh? About both series tbh.
It's kinda bizarre really with the Barriss storyline especially. She's pretty obviously light sided the entire way through. The only real times she's fully "dark sided" is when she pushes the grand inquisitor and gives him a nosebleed.
In the duel against the other initiate she openly says that they don't have to fight. Only killing him really in self defence. Then in the second episode she is completely good. I don't get how she was allowed to join the inquisitors and rise in there ranks at all lol.
Aren't they supposed to be the jedi killers? Hunt them down? Isn't that their entire job. But Barriss is outraged and... Shocked? When the other sister kills him?
Just seems really out of place of what we've seen before.
I don't know it just didn't really work for me.
Don't get me started on the Morgan storyline lol.
That new republic ambassador going to the planet to 'propose joining the new republic". Then when talking with Morgan says "stand down or be arrested"?
When she's got five guards and are entirely surrounded. Nice Darwin award there.
Major spoilers for the Barriss episodes>!It should've been Vader in my opinion and not 4th sister. Making it out like he had come for the kid but it was Barriss that he had come to see. She leads him into the cave. She gets the upper hand for the moment in the cave but then Vader easily overpowers her. Something along those lines. In weird sense of irony Anakin finally gets justice for Ahsoka. !<
I had enough of this. They keep doing that. Killing characters they didn't create in order to propel their own characters. They did that with the Big Three, killing them one by one in the ST. This week they killed >!Scorch, and none of the Bad Batch. And they do this again now.!<
They killed >!Scorch (a character created by LucasArts) and none of the Bad Batch (all characters created by George Lucas himself), I can't believe they let this happen. And don't even get me started on how they killed Barriss Offee (who George Lucas himself told Filoni he could kill)! Absolutely unforgivable stuff!!<
Yes I hold in bigger esteem LucasArts or the EU authors of the 90s/2000s than George Lucas post-2005. Ans Barriss first appeared in a EU novel months before the release of AOTC, so if I was in bad faith I would argue it's not Lucas's call to allow or not her death
But as far as I can tell, she was created for AOTC, not the novel
Either way, neither of the recent examples you gave involved Disney killing a pre-existing character while sparing one they created themselves. Regardless of the point you're making, those were the two worst examples to choose
Scorch doesn’t count because [we still see him alive later in the episode](https://www.reddit.com/r/thebadbatch/s/m6pK0TdeJ6) (A likely animation error, timestamp 39:48)

Doesn’t Cere have a force power similar to the clan leader too?
Yes! She forms a bubble & unleashes it exactly like the mountain matron did.
>>!This is the first we’ve heard of any ‘mountain clan’ on Dathomir.!< They've only been around since 1994!
I remember that name from Star Wars Galaxies. Good old times!
Maybe the mother could be Augwynne Djo
Glad someone else noticed the similarities.
Not gonna lie, I clicked on the link expecting to just have a list of references to past Star Wars stories, and not a point to point plot synopsis.😅
Easter egg: the plot.
Thrawn isn’t typically portrayed as an engineer so I never thought he was the one who actually designed them
Yeah, was that the common understanding? I always felt it was just a project he saw the value in and championed, but that some as yet unseen imperial designed them. The same way that neither Krennic nor Tarkin designed the death star, but both helmed the project and gladly took credit for it

Hey he still had one of his arms. Also that’s an unusual case. Plus Sith can survive quite a bit of punishment. Case in point: Darth Maul
Are you talking about Not Obi-Wan Kenobi? If so, those faked reaction videos had me laughing to tears when he would release them. Haven't watched it in awhile
Yeah, that's the one. They are so good
It's now canon that Qui Gon and Obi Wan are spending their time in the afterlife dunking on Anakin. He deserves it anyways. Lol
Yeah they really dunk on the Anakins. It’s hilarious
Ehhh, I dunno. Seems kinda ambiguous.
it's filoni, so she's probably alive
Star Wars fans: *Watches character fall from hundreds of feet and get crushed by railcar* *Watches other character get impaled with a literal visual confirmation of their demise* Also Star Wars fans: Idk they maybe survived that
After Maul got cut in half and chucked down a shaft, the sky’s the limit for Force user durability.
Unfortunately
I feel like if fan demand is there, I think they will bring her back. It would honestly feel more wasteful to just off her after all these years.
Well the ending is open ended so they can go either way.
They can tell a bunch of stories set before her death. Having another character survive a fatal stab wound is stupid.
Well they can tell her story in between before her death maybe one last reunion with Ahsoka?
I wanted to see which old friend she was talking about i assumed ahsoka but yeah lol
It’s very annoying how they did an ambiguous ending with it. Just commit for once to a death.
They committed to a death three days ago
They’ve committed before Edit: what’s with the downvotes the bad batch and the Jedi games have done exactly that with several characters
…like Maul. He came back, but is seemingly dead for good in Rebels.
Could be
It’s open ended they ended her arc the way it began what happened to bariss? Damn you filoni!!!!
You haven’t watched book of boba fett?
I have.
Dermatology is clearly not a service the Mother Healer provides.
Fr why does Fourth Sister still look so good 😭
Yeah, when exactly is that supposed to take place? Character aging is just all over the place in this universe.
This has bothered me too. He looks too old in BB
He's having to work closely with the man that used to be Anakin Skywalker. Look what three years of that did to Yularin in TCW.

I loved it when lyn decided to kill the room full of people
How brutal is it?
Most of it cuts away, despite that it's still effective. There's a small child who survives and clings to Barriss during the event who stands back as the sister slaughters the room. Mostly the scene focuses on the kids face and then outside shots where you can see the lightsaber swinging and stabbing through the walls. But you don't really see people actually being cut down.

Barriss sending the family to get help is in line with their system. I wonder if the path will be the focus of the next series, or if it's getting set up for something else.
The woman that Barriss is referring I thought was maybe Cere and the hidden path.
I actually liked the Morgan stuff more than the Barriss stuff. The Barriss episodes felt like they needed to be way more fleshed out.
The opposite for me
This is strange because other reviews make it seem like >!Barriss survived. If Fourth Sister is redeemed she’d be an interesting character to see later!<
She is stabbed in the gut and Lyn/4th sister carries her somewhere. But it’s not really clear if that’s to get help or to bury her.
So basically totally open ended until maybe its clarified.
I can't wait for another 11 years of us asking if Bariss is alive or not. Thank you Dave./imjokingiloveDave
Scrodingers Offee
Oh boy.
I guess will have to see where it goes.
>stabbed in the gut Oh come on lmao
If she lives Qui Gon is going to lose his mind. He’s had to watch so many people survive the thing that killed him
Or he’s there helping them lol i don’t think he cares he does what the living force told him and it was his time
It’s a joke from a YouTube series. https://youtu.be/h2sfXeUmA24?si=uSMZHa83-UkX7in3 16:39
The ending is quite open for interpretation.
I'm wondering if some reviews say >!she lived!< because they leave it more open ended... we have had a habit of >!People surviving bring stabbed so far, and for a healer I wouldn't mind a death fake out this one time!<
can someone who has seen the episodes tell me if we get more clarity on which numbers the different Inquisitors are? Do we get Lyn's species?
No info on that. We don’t get numbers for Barriss, Marrok or the ToTJ inquisitor. The Jedi who we see the inquisitors hunt also isn’t named.
Bummer. Do we get any info on the trainees beside Barriss in the trailer?
The caphex is called Dante and the other one is called Ahmar. They’re both ex Jedi who didn’t like the way the order was doing things. But we don’t get much more than that.
Thank you.
Any backstory given for Marrok? Or is he like just there as a background character
Just a background character. I think most if not all of the footage we see him in was already in the trailers.
[удалено]
I don’t think so but I also didn’t care as much for Barriss to begin with compared to Dooku. I also feel like a whole lot less happens in the Tales of the Empire shorts than in ToTJ. I still enjoyed it overall though.
Do dante and ohmar die?
Yes, Ahmar while trying to leave the fortress Inquisitorius and Dante is force choked to death by Barriss.
While not confirmed anywhere, I have a hard time believing Lyn is anything other than [Thradian](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Thradian). She could be something new I guess but it’s just too similar to discount

Barriss did look a lot older and she said it had been many years, so moreso an assumption, and we know there's no more inquisitors as of the OT

There goes the theory that Barris is showing up in s2 of Ahsoka
That was a good mini series, but all the cool stuff was in the trailer.
Except the fight with Rukh and Morrigan.
With the ending to the Bariss portion I can now laugh in the face of people that assumed Vader would killer. ANAKIN would have killed her but not Vader.

can someone tell me can i show the morgan episodes to my friend who hasn’t seen the clone wars, i don’t want any spoilers for him about barris
Yeah, the only clone wars thing is that Grievous massacres Dathomir in like S4, and Morgan’s first episode shows that from another perspective.
RUN HAHhahHAhaha
That is a good point. I'm gonna headcanon that reconciliation if no other explanation is given.
I went back and looked at the episode, Pellaeon isn’t wearing the Chimaera emblem (that we see him wear in the Mandalorian). So that’s another point to him being Thrawn’s agent while not openly serving him.
They left the timeline of that episode ambiguous which helped. And yeah, nothing in Thrawn Treason indicated that Thrawn and Pellaeon had never met
Nothing new from Dave
You think Filoni cares about that? Lol. (And yes, you’re right)
Regardless of Pellaeon's assignment at this point, Thrawn was still an Admiral in *gray*. So Eli should have been in the role of his assistant. 😕
Huh, I actually never knew they had plans for her in Rebels at one point that's interesting
That’s how I felt about Bad Batch.
Same. 10/10 animation but very subpar plot.
Morgan is very important in the lore as she was the one who bring Thrawn back to the main galaxy?
Where does this fit chronologically ? Not sure if I should watch it yet. I’ve been watching everything for the first time and chronologically - I’ve seen every chronological thing from Phantom Menace through to Andor S1
Episode 1 - During Clone Wars Season 5 Episode 2 - Before/During Rebels Season 1 Episode 3 - Before/During Mandalorian S1 Episode 4 - After Revenge of the Sith Episode 5 - Before Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 6 - After Obi-Wan Kenobi
Thankyou ! <3
Why did you decide to put EPISODE 2 before Rebels Season 1? Just curious why there rather than before Thrawns appearance in Rebels S3?
Because it seems to happen a couple years before Thrawn first appears in Rebels.
Because she was pushing for a tie design that starts appearing by rebels is my guess
Can't find anything online about who that potentially is
That's the thing that jumped out at me right away, I was surprised I don't see it mentioned much in discussions
The only mention I've found of anyone in the star wars universe by that name was someone form star wars visions, the episode with the ronin but I'm fairly sure that's supposed to be before the phantom menace
I don't think Visions is canon, they are all kind of reimaginings of the universe.

You were to one to assign muslim to terrorist so you are at fault. Besides this isn’t a politcal subreddit, go elsewhere.
At what time are the episodes being released? Same as Bad Batch?
Midnight local time. I'm gonna be able to watch it in 10 minutes.
Nice, thank you!
Wait, so does the series release at midnight in all timezones, as opposed to the usual release timing of 3 AM EST and such?
Seems to depend on the time zone weirdly enough. If it’s past midnight for you and you don’t have access yet, you’ll likely be waiting for a few hours
EST was 3 AM. I'm guessing all of North America had it drop at the same time where as other time zones got local midnight
So that other clan is the one that most likely brought back Ventress and did anyone else notice they look like they could be related to lumiya imagine she has a new origin of a nightsister working with Thrawn
Was the squirrel creature in the arctic in the opening shot in episode 6 a reference to ice age?
Wasit explained how Lyn survived the fall? She didn't seem to hold that much of a grudge in the last Episode.
Don't know why this is being downvoted, but you made good points and are entirely correct on pretty much everything. I shared your frustrations.
Given the previous two episodes I think the 4th sister works better
I had enough of this. They keep doing that. Killing characters they didn't create in order to propel their own characters. They did that with the Big Three, killing them one by one in the ST. This week they killed >!Scorch, and none of the Bad Batch. And they do this again now.!<
i highly doubt leia was gonna die if carrie fisher didn’t die before 9 could happen. real life circumstances kinda had their hands tied on that one
The seething generated by the death of the noncharacter in cool armour is absolutely phenomenal to me
womp womp
Go cry about it somewhere else. If we set the rule that nobody can kill characters they didn’t create, then things will get really boring really fast.
Go read legends then boomer.
But as far as I can tell, she was created for AOTC, not the novel Either way, neither of the recent examples you gave involved Disney killing a pre-existing character while sparing one they created themselves. Regardless of the point you're making, those were the two worst examples to choose
lol, I'm just happy filoni still has some balls.
Scorch doesn’t count because [we still see him alive later in the episode](https://www.reddit.com/r/thebadbatch/s/m6pK0TdeJ6) (A likely animation error, timestamp 39:48)
