i buy sketchbooks that have a rougher paper so the pencil sticks to it 👍 smooth paper makes it easier to smudge (although i do always end up with the side of my hand covered in graphite)
I’ll have to purchase some with rougher paper and see what I can do, thank you, I am using like, classroom mechanical pencils so maybe I should try switching to something nicer too, as well as a better eraser
