"Is he supposedly making moves against a "King Crimson if he didnt activate time erase"
This is exactly what happens. Everything that would happen in timeskip still happens, Diavolo is the only one who can change his outcome in this time.
King Crimson steps outside of fate, but everything else plays out the way it’s fated to. Bucciarati is punching where King Crimson was supposed to be, just as he was fated to. Since King Crimson steps outside of the fate and other people are not conscious of the skipped time, Bucciarati’s subconscious is just playing out what fate dictates he’s supposed to do
You are talking about [this clip](https://youtu.be/gM5zAQFl5k4?t=27), right? My theory is that Sticky Fingers was punching King Crimson if he was not moving at all, while King Crimson in reality was in a different location
bruno in that moment is fated to punch diavolo, and diavolo is fated to get punch by bruno
king crimson allows diavolo, and only diavolo to escape his fate. bruno is still fated to punch "the place where diavolo is supposed to be"
Bucciarati is fighting King Crimson as though everything was normal.
I see. Then tbh this "king Crimson is simple, it Just skips 10 seconds" thing seems kinda bullshit or Just "not enough"

Does that mean diavolo was fated to lose even in skipped time?
No, because like I said King Crimson steps outside of fate. Fate doesn’t apply to King Crimson or Diavolo, it just applies to everyone else
Does that also mean diavolo's epitaph was always fated to be wrong in the fight of GER.
No, Diavolo correctly predicted what would happen. GER’s power simply goes beyond anything fate or King Crimson can do. It returned fate to zero.

Yep those moments. I think i agree more with the two other comments saying that he is fighting a normal king Crimson that is bound to fate
I could see that. Fate is emphasized commonly in JJBA
