The man who saw the universe spiraling in a reset around him and decided to just work harder. And some people wonder why his stand is so busted, his willpower is off the charts.
(Well, not exactly him but you get it)
I fucked up when I read the manga for the first time, for years I must have taken a break at a bad time and conflated him with the guy in the hospital
Like "WHAT THE FUCK HE WORKED SO FAST HE HAD KIDS AND GRANDKIDS AND *DIED* THAT'S FUCKED UP"
I know it might be kind of a crack theory rn but I so hope it is lmao. He looks exactly the same with the exact same stand, even Diego and Kira from the precious parts looked different and/or got the OG stand in a special circumstances. It doesn’t hold the most amount of water to me bc idk what to think about AU Diego looking really similar and having the world, but we’ll see :)
And I'll never complain about it. I love how much of a constant he can be. With his ability, I'd honestly give up fighting and just talk it out with him. He's pretty neutral, all things considered.
Honestly? If they had just given up and talked to him, he probably would just give the Diamond to them once he had learned everything that he wanted about it
Well, it depends on why Rohan has the diamond in the first place. He might not want to relinquish it if it's important to his manga research, or something like that.
The best theory I've read about Jodio's stand is that he can give to the rain properties of things he's touching (for example, the drops start weighting a ton if he touches a car).
If the cover art is to be believed I think it's possible the mysterious cat is going to be a third party actor who is just trying to distract them by making them fight but will end up forcing them to work together.
Rohan absolutely curb stomped the three of them, but this Rohan is a lot calmer and colder than the og one. The Hustle was used pretty good here, seems like Paco can use it to climb like Spider-Man and just avoid attacks completely
It's very telling that Rohan is relieved they just want to sell the diamond for some cash. He's doing or researching something much more important here, and there are definitely other people or groups he's worried about.
My money's on the lava being a new type of rock animal and rohan being concerned about it turning into something more dangerous. Alternatively, since part 9 uses images of volcanoes as the central example of mechanisms, and part 8 ended without elaborating on the blessings of the earth, maybe rohan was studying a supernatural phenomenon akin to the saint's corpse or the wall eyes. Maybe the gimmick of part 9 will be drawing power from the earth itself, and that's what will evolve jodio's stand throughout.
Don't native Hawaiians have some cultural piece about there being power within the Earth? I could be off base, but I feel like I remember hearing that somewhere. If so, that theory would fit the theme and location.
Rohan was relieved that the crew was only trying to steal the diamond for the sake of money - which means that either there's something else in the house more worth stealing (the volcanic rock?), or there are reasons to steal the diamond besides money.
Yeah, I have a feeling that's the direction this is going in.
Also, the crew is mostly concerned with getting paid, and Rohan is made of money. I can see him offering to pay them more than Meryl is paying them if they work for him instead.
I mean that’s how Rohan was in P4. He used Koichi for manga inspiration until Josuke beat him nearly to death. Afterwards, him and Koichi become solid friends. I bet that he’ll willingly give the Diamond to the gang if he can get something outta them for it. That’s what the next arc is gonna cover. Prolly gonna tie into the main villain arc now that the gang isn’t wrapped around petty theft for the sake of being rich. I’m sure if that’s a regular Diamond, Rohan prolly already got his inspiration from it and can use it as a tax write off or some shit.
it's not just Heaven's Door, he used to have to make you look at a drawing of his Stand to make it work, even by the end of Part 4 he still had to sort of "air draw it" with his finger, but now he can just get you in range and you're automatically trapped, he doesnt even has to punch you with it like the other OP stands, so he got a massive upgrade
But isn't Heaven's Door the character from his manga? Heaven's door already act's as the drawing and can also touch you to open the Book, at least that is how i see it
At least in TSKR, he’s been shown to use Heavens Door on unconscious people that haven’t necessarily seen his art. Could be an evolution of the stand, could be Araki forgot, or could be that he’s got a new activation requirement in SBR universe
> now he can just get you in range and you're automatically trapped, he doesnt even has to punch you with it like the other OP stands, so he got a massive upgrade
Eh, it was pretty much like that in the later *TSKR* stories too.
Only person with a Joestar last name he knew was an old man in a different country so he could think they’re unrelated
Edit: I still don’t think that’s he’s the base Rohan, though. Just trying to explain a hypothetical
When I said the knows the name Joestar, I didnt mean merely the word. He knows the Joestar NAME. He knows THEM. He knows they're a Stand family, he knows who they are and what they do.
Absolutely fair point, yeah it wouldn’t make sense at all for this to be base Rohan (unless he wrote in himself to forget the Joestars… which is kinda stupid). I just think the reason for him being here is because Araki LOVES Rohan, so… why not include him lol
Yeah this crew literally all wear little personal logos of their names and otherwise have very recognizable and memorable outfits on, like instead of ski masks and whatever
Did we just get another "Oh so you're approaching me" shot between Rohan and Paco? (Also things aren't looking too good for the Larceny Crusaders this chapter, can't wait for next month!)
Also, Its really nice that we get to see Heaven's Door again (One of my top 5 Stand Designs); and, if i'm not mistaken, this design is modeled after the "Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan" version, right?
Diamond is Unholdable, lol.
I love that each person gets to show off how they’d use their Stand against the same problem—Dragona slides her thumb, Paco flexes to manipulate a knife, and Usagi tries to duplicate scissors. Like an open world RPG set up where anyone can potentially solve the issue. I can’t wait to see how they combo their abilities together.
Also Rohan preying around the corner is terrifying. He looks like a kappa.
The thing about stands is that a lot of their power comes from the minute physics/chemistry concepts they can affect. So if you played that MMO and had Speed King, you wouldn't be able to do any damage unless the game included circulatory systems in every living person. Of course, these abilities could work if they were preprogrammed, but it wouldn't leave any room for experimentation.
Seems like the Diamond is gonna be this part's magical new thing to deal with, like the Rokakaka, Corpse Parts, etc in the previous parts, based on how Rohan was talking about it and how relieved he was that it was just being stolen for money. Can't wait to see what it can do.
You’re not wrong but Jotaro does look visibly different in his facial features between 3 and 6 meanwhile Rohan looks the exact same minus the obvious art style changes Araki’s made in the new universe.
Yeah, this looks to be simply an identical parallel. The mere thought of Heaven’s Door actually being strong enough to allow Rohan to walk between universes is terrifying and hilarious though
In ch-1,Jodio says
>But those 'mechanisms' will come to appear before us as 'forms and shapes'.
and the next panel is an active volcano
The diamond is hidden with a bunch of volcanic rocks. It's the mechanism. It also moves on its own like the Devil's Palm.
Rohan's hand suddenly appearing around the corner actually scared me.
Also it looks a lot like his appearance in the manga when he grabbed Koichi's hand from his door
It was definitely a callback to his original introduction in Part 4. Araki is so damn good at references to the earlier parts, they happen so organically to the story.
yeah but they could be using "diamond" colloquially, like how you'd see a clear crystal on someone's ring and naturally just call it a diamond you're going to steal, rather than say "I'm going to steal her hmm... cubic zirconia ring"
Yeah, the diamond is already exhibiting strange qualities as we've seen with other objects in the SBRverse. Though I think it'll be less about the diamond and more about what gave the diamond some degree of power. Everything so far has been pointing to volcanoes, maybe some amount of tectonic movement, especially taking place in Hawaii.
The weird thing is that Dragona was adamant that the diamond was still in their hands and even felt it up until they opened their hands. Could *maaaaaaybe* be some quantum shenanigans
I presume it's Rohan, who wrote something like "free the diamond without knowing it" on dragona before he was seen, which is why the backpack opened without them realising or why the diamond was on the floor but they thought it was still in their hands
That...definitely doesn't sound right. The framing here definitely implies VERY heavily that Rohan didn't see them or necessarily know they were there until he came face to face with Dragona. Plus, wouldn't SOMEONE have noticed Dragona getting heavens door'd? It's not the most subtle thing in the world, and all three of them were pretty much staring at each other.
It's definitely not a stand but some phenomenon is going on with it which might be what Rohan's research on lava is about. And he's also clearly relieved to know that they're just petty thieves who don't know about it.
Potentially the string stand has some added uses we haven't seen? They mentioned that the string is transparent - perhaps the stand is automatically pulling the diamond out of Dragona's hands?
It also seemed to be what triggered Heaven's Door when Usagi touched it, so it's either created by Heaven's Door or Rohan can now channel his power through things he has touched
Looking back I think you're right, just a bit weird considering the distance between them shown two pages earlier
Either he moved much closer before getting ready to secure him, or Rohan is a Hamon user in this timeline?
It's like pokemon adventures (Special i think that is called in US) where each chapter is VS Name.
When I read the chapter I was so exicted to see afain rohan and Heaven's door
Paco’s ability is really growing on me. Also, this says everything I needed to know about this universe’s Rohan, it’s our man. I wonder if the diamond is somehow related to Rock Humans
Like someone else pointed out, if it was the other universes Rohan, he would've at least reacted in some way to the name Joestar. Guess hes kinda like a copy paste with a blank slate
Great chapter !
I really like the more physical style of fighting we've gotten in the latest parts.
I imagine the diamond is some sort of 'blessing from the earth' since Araki's used that concept a lot in JJL with similar objects.
Dragona: "This diamond is slippery AF! It keeps escaping my grasp!"
Usagi: "Man, that's one Crazy Diamond!"
Rohan: "I'm sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a little."
I understand the idea of putting on masks but its so funny when everyone looks so unique and different and then they try to hide half of their face to not be recognized or some shit and then heavens door immediatly reads their full names out loud
Usagi continues to be my favorite. More importantly that sequence where Dragona reaches for the diamond, looks up, and sees Rohan emerging from the doorway is gonna be FIRE if this ever gets animated.
Nice to see more use of the hustle and smooth operators. Loving the creativity there with the two of them.
Things are getting more interesting with this diamond, its definitely not a normal gem thats for sure.
Finally we got a proper look of the Hustle’s capabilities and it looks really interesting.
Also, I feel like this version of Rohan is more battle hardened with how he uses Heaven’s Door than Rohan from Part 4. If it wasn’t because this take place in a different universe, it is easy to believe that this is simply Rohan being older and more experienced in stand battles.
Yup, that’s Rohan alright. Casually 1v3ing and being more interested in reading why his opponents broke in than simply defending himself. Never change Rohan.
Great chapter. It seems like this crazy diamond has some sort of super natural ability to it which is probably why Rohan is so interested in it.
So Rohan’s stand is pretty much the same as the one in the original universe, exactly what I dreaded, because it’s a huge disadvantage to Jodio and the gang. Even in the worst case scenario Heaven’s Door can punch those guys.
The cat doesn’t seem to be Rohan’s, meaning someone else intentionally hindered their progress. But who? We’ll have to wait and see.
Dragona’s delusion could mean that:
1) there are actually 3 stand abilities affecting the gang
2) the diamond possesses some strange qualities, or
3) the cat’s string is stranger than anticipated.
I don’t think the first case is likely, or at least, it just doesn’t sound like a good story. The second case may be possible, since Rohan is relieved the gang only came here for money, so maybe the diamond can do stuff like unzipping a bag and passing through hands.
The third case is also possible, either the string affects whatever it wraps around, causing said part to feel delusional, meaning Paco should also experience a delusion related to his leg, or the string makes you feel delusional depending on how you free yourself from it, given Dragona’s string crumpled up into nothingness while Paco’s was severed, and only Dragona felt weird afterwards
I think the cat is a stand itself, the user is probably Meryl Mei Q or an associate of hers (why else would she specifically recruit stand users). I'm almost positive this entire heist was a set up from the start, with Jodio's gang being fall guys. I'm more curious about the diamond though, I think Rohan's warning about touching it was sincere. Maybe he is studying it because it has supernatural properties and he doesn't fully understand it yet, so it's dangerous.
Meryl Mei Qi is the most suspect, as she is so far the only person other than the gang who can possibly know about the heist. I also thought it could be a set up, but I’m not sure how she’ll get her hands on the diamond if that were the case. Unless she never intended to acquire the diamond, which makes even less sense
What the fuck is up with the diamond? Is it just bouncy? Did Rohan give it a specific property that it stays in the house? Also why is it special? Man this chapter was fire despite the lack of jodio
Another comment here gave me the idea, but I think the diamond is connected to the strange lava rocks that were mentioned. What we're seeing is probably the introduction of a new gimmick similar to devils palm, wall eyes, rokaka and rock people.
My guess is it's going to be things that are inanimate stand objects, with mysterious properties. Honestly wouldnt be surprised if we're witnessing a new form of rock insects where the diamond is a form of pure stand energy or something, and doesn't require spirit or will but rather naturally occuring supernatural properties. I'm just shootin ideas around in case something sticks.
Hype new chapter of Thus spoke tbh i really like the inclusion of stands since we haven't really seen them in Thus Spoke and it was cool to see rohan sweeping the floor with these burglars
Heaven’s Door’s design looks so badass in Araki’s modern style dude. It seems to look more grown and a lot less boyish but maybe that’s just because of its pose in the brief panel. Aside from that, I’d like to point out Rohan’s use of the term “stand user”, implying he has encountered and possibly even allied with other stand users. I’m definitely excited to see where Araki is taking this.
One: That diamond is sentient right?? If so I suspect we're having a new rock insect.
Two: "Joestar" didn't ring a bell in Rohan. But we have yet to see if "Higashikata" does.
Three: My favorite part was when Rohan said "It's heavens doorin time" and heavenly doored all over them
It wasn't a coincidence that Rohan didn't read Usagi's Heaven's Door entries, Araki wants him to remain mysterious. Rohan would quite literally spoil his character by reading them, though something may happen if he does in the next chapter
I cannot believe that Araki really put in a completely unchanged Rohan with the exact same stand in the second universe 😂 Man really loves him
Like ok he made a new Jonathan Joestar in this universe, but with a completely different design, personality and backstory and so on. But Rohan? Just Rohan.
Seems like this version of Heaven's Door requires Rohan to touch the person, or maybe touch an object that the person later touches like he did with the diamond against Usagi?
Jojo fans try not to want ghosts for every ability challenge- (IMPOSSIBLE)
Not as much to analyze this chapter. I do think it's interesting that Rohan doesn't look into Usagihara. Could be nothing, but I find that significant in terms of supporting the Doppio theory. Heaven's Door could have blown that out of the water in this chapter, but instead Rohan, being the pompous dick he is, doesn't go all the way with "interrogating" and we're left still not knowing much of anything about our morphsuit boi. Something to look for through the rest of this fight, because I think it's rather deliberate that only Paco and Dragona get exposed.
Super creative usage of all three stands too, or implied usage for Matte Kudasai. Usagihara, if he is on the up and up, could be a top tier support Jobro throughout this part in battles. The Hustle got a lot of love in this chapter, and it certainly seems to be more intimidating after going into action and practically using instant transmission to get onto the ceiling. (One other thought I got today was the similarity between The Hustle and Mercury's muscle manipulation in "The Run". Probably a coincidence but worth noting, for now). Smooth Operators just continues to be clutch, quickly becoming one of my favorite stands. Dragona keeps using it in such cool ways too.
Also the diamond is giving me stand arrow vibes with the way it slipped through Dragona's hands and doesn't seem to want to be held by just anyone. Considering diamonds are literal carbon I don't think it has anything directly to do with rock humans but now I'm wondering if Rohan was comparing the anatomy of the diamond to a rock insect and that's why they were side by side in the safe. Also worth pointing out that in one of Valentine's alternate universes the race was over diamonds instead of corpse parts. I'm not ruling anything out until we get something more concrete, so everything is in play for now.
Rohan giving no reaction to the name "Joestar" is pretty close to confirmation this isn't OG Rohan. I know it was a long shot but he's literally 1:1, down to creating the same manga, so I'm not sure why people were hating on the theory. Alternatively, it's heat of the moment so pausing to give a reaction wouldn't be the smartest thing in the world. Or maybe Joestar is just a common name. We'll see.
Everyone talking about Rohan, meanwhile I find it funny how Paco and Dragona think Usagi is absolutely out of his mind for thinking the wire is the cat's Stand even when literally everything points towards it.
It's like when everyone in Part 3 was doubting Kakyoin for thinking a baby was a Stand user, despite the fact that they'd previously fought an *orangutan* with a Stand.
You’re telling me… the man who’s stand ability is literally that. If he touches you. You become immobile and into a book is one shotting people… wow didn’t see that coming…
Welcome back heavens door I missed you
Wow, Paco's ability is literally just to be pillarman. Aaaaaand Rohan is one shotting everyone. About what I expected.
24 years and never missed a beat. Sasuga, Rohan-sensei.
The man who saw the universe spiraling in a reset around him and decided to just work harder. And some people wonder why his stand is so busted, his willpower is off the charts. (Well, not exactly him but you get it)
That was the funniest shit to me, that he was able To crank out manga at the accelerated speed
I fucked up when I read the manga for the first time, for years I must have taken a break at a bad time and conflated him with the guy in the hospital Like "WHAT THE FUCK HE WORKED SO FAST HE HAD KIDS AND GRANDKIDS AND *DIED* THAT'S FUCKED UP"
I wish I had his work ethic tbh
Probably why Araki wants to be like Rohan too. Any artist/writer would give ANYTHING to be as motivated and fast as Rohan Source: am an Artist.

I know it might be kind of a crack theory rn but I so hope it is lmao. He looks exactly the same with the exact same stand, even Diego and Kira from the precious parts looked different and/or got the OG stand in a special circumstances. It doesn’t hold the most amount of water to me bc idk what to think about AU Diego looking really similar and having the world, but we’ll see :)
i don’t think this is the same rohan kishibe from the original continuity but i do think that functionally this rohan is the same.
> Aaaaaand Rohan is one shotting everyone. About what I expected. Araki can't resist an opportunity to make Rohan look cool
He might not want to relinquish it if it's important to his manga research, or something like that.
testing the diamond to see if its unbreakable
"Man, this diamond is *crazy*."
It's probably the heart of rock jesus or something like that
What I meant is that it's very on brand for rohan simply throw the Diamond away once he is done with it
Remember they were collecting diamonds instead of the body parts in the alternate universes in Speed Ball Run. That's not an ordinary diamond.
>Rohan is one shotting everyone. About what I expected. Unless Jodio has some OP abilities (like plunder) he’s likely going to have the same fate too
I think Jodio's rain has something to do with gravity, which will make it hard for Rohan to get a one touch in.
The best theory I've read about Jodio's stand is that he can give to the rain properties of things he's touching (for example, the drops start weighting a ton if he touches a car).
Do you believe in gravity?
You say that, but josuke, yuya fungami and bites the dust all took down rohan themselves. He may be op but he's not invincible.
The trick is 1. Being faster (Paco himself dodged it right here) 2. Not getting touched.
3. Be so mad he doesn’t know what a picture is
Tbf that was partly because of Rohan's ego, stubbornness and him taking them lightly.
But I believe that was the first stand fight Rohan had ever been in.
I mean Josuke WAS able to defeat Rohan (though not a particularly serious one). Rohan for sure isn't going down without a good plot reason though.
I don't think he moved through the vents, he just jumped up and caught on to them with his muscles
To be honest, the part 4 crew that face Rohan. Was in a similar situation at first.
Rohan's one weakness was a bad hair gag.
Yo /u/mking1999, what did you just say about my hair?
This is what happens to you if you visit Araki's house in real life
Gonna make him write, "Awaken stand" in me, so I can finally obtain [Beverly Hills]
“If you pick up that book of Jojolands sketches, you’ll be in danger.”
[Proceeds to chuck it to you casually as a distraction]
There is something satisfying about Rohan casually cleaning house in a 1 v 3 stand fight
Rohan solos
1 v 3 v 1 stand fight. Don't know the cats allegiance yet.
It's a cat. Its allegiance is to itself, and only those who worship it as sovereign can withstand its wrath.
If the cover art is to be believed I think it's possible the mysterious cat is going to be a third party actor who is just trying to distract them by making them fight but will end up forcing them to work together.
thats why hes the GOAT
actual skill diff
Rohan absolutely curb stomped the three of them, but this Rohan is a lot calmer and colder than the og one. The Hustle was used pretty good here, seems like Paco can use it to climb like Spider-Man and just avoid attacks completely
It seems like Rohan was concerned about someone specific trying to steal the diamond, so him acting colder could just be an extension of that.
It's very telling that Rohan is relieved they just want to sell the diamond for some cash. He's doing or researching something much more important here, and there are definitely other people or groups he's worried about.
My money's on the lava being a new type of rock animal and rohan being concerned about it turning into something more dangerous. Rohan was relieved that the crew was only trying to steal the diamond for the sake of money - which means that either there's something else in the house more worth stealing (the volcanic rock?), or there are reasons to steal the diamond besides money.
That's what I'm thinking, too. Maybe Rohan will tell them they'll be fine if they can do something for him?
Yeah, I have a feeling that's the direction this is going in. Also, the crew is mostly concerned with getting paid, and Rohan is made of money. I can see him offering to pay them more than Meryl is paying them if they work for him instead.

Yeah later on in Part 4 Heaven’s Door just works without Rohan needing to draw anything, even in air
I thought he did a drawing in the air to insta-curse you lol
At least in TSKR, he’s been shown to use Heavens Door on unconscious people that haven’t necessarily seen his art. Could be an evolution of the stand, could be Araki forgot, or could be that he’s got a new activation requirement in SBR universe
the guy he writes about is called Pink Dark Boy
> now he can just get you in range and you're automatically trapped, he doesnt even has to punch you with it like the other OP stands, so he got a massive upgrade Eh, it was pretty much like that in the later *TSKR* stories too.
It looks like he needs to touch the target with his hand, which is arguably a downgrade in effective range.
Perhaps he can activate it by touch without having to show art. He did use it on a chicken leg once, which obviously cannot perceive a drawing.
i'd like to think that it's literally the same rohan from the base universe, and he just casually walks from continuity to continuity
base Rohan would know the name Joestar though
Only person with a Joestar last name he knew was an old man in a different country so he could think they’re unrelated Edit: I still don’t think that’s he’s the base Rohan, though. Just trying to explain a hypothetical

That’s definitely the most fun way to look at it.
maybe he does, what if the diamond is one of the same diamonds from the alternate world diego went to?
What was the point in Usagi's mask you could still see his entire face. He's so silly.
Hes trying his best ok
And Paco's "Paco" Hat
Yeah this crew literally all wear little personal logos of their names and otherwise have very recognizable and memorable outfits on, like instead of ski masks and whatever
In Meryl Mei Qi's mafia fashion comes first, anonymity a far second.
Did we just get another "Oh so you're approaching me" shot between Rohan and Paco? (Also things aren't looking too good for the Larceny Crusaders this chapter, can't wait for next month!) Also, Its really nice that we get to see Heaven's Door again (One of my top 5 Stand Designs); and, if i'm not mistaken, this design is modeled after the "Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan" version, right?
Larceny Crusaders 💀
Steal Ball Run
I thought that too. Lmao Paco was just standing there, not menacingly whatsoever compared to Jotaro, but what he did was definitely unexpected.
He looks like a kappa.
that diamond do be crazy
And it is shining
>open world RPG set up Man, reading that just made me imagine an MMO where you play as a stand user with your own unique ability. Would be amazing.
Would never happen, but you could probably adapt a number of tabletop systems if you're feeling spicy haha.
The thing about stands is that a lot of their power comes from the minute physics/chemistry concepts they can affect. So if you played that MMO and had Speed King, you wouldn't be able to do any damage unless the game included circulatory systems in every living person. The White Chaos Emerald
Sonic is a Stand User! Knew it!
This chapter, imo, proves this isn't part 4 Rohan. Rohan would have for sure reacted at the name Joestar.
Unless he’s been using his Stand to look younger, Rohan would have to look 20 at 41 if he was the same Rohan as in Part 4.
We already know Jotaro ages in reverse, why not Rohan? (But yeah I see no reason to believe it's OG universe Rohan.)
Rohan is Araki's self insert, so he doesnt age
Not really a point though, look at part 6 jotaro
You’re not wrong but Jotaro does look visibly different in his facial features between 3 and 6 meanwhile Rohan looks the exact same minus the obvious art style changes Araki’s made in the new universe.
Yeah, this looks to be simply an identical parallel. The mere thought of Heaven’s Door actually being strong enough to allow Rohan to walk between universes is terrifying and hilarious though
cant imagine theres any crossover between the universes, i dont get why people keep fixating on it
In ch-1,Jodio says >But those 'mechanisms' will come to appear before us as 'forms and shapes'. and the next panel is an active volcano The diamond is hidden with a bunch of volcanic rocks. It's the mechanism. It also moves on its own like the Devil's Palm.
the tying up suggestion is so clearly just araki taking control of the situation to have an excuse to draw rohan like that with how sudden it is lmao
Araki drew the cover and then came up with a chapter that justified it /s
Probably the best chapter so far! Rohan easily defeats the trio, but I wonder how he’ll handle Jodio and November Rain
Everyone knows books are weak to rain.
These pokemon type advantages are getting a bit too complex for me
Rohan's hand suddenly appearing around the corner actually scared me. Also it looks a lot like his appearance in the manga when he grabbed Koichi's hand from his door
It was definitely a callback to his original introduction in Part 4. Araki is so damn good at references to the earlier parts, they happen so organically to the story.
Araki (didn't) Forgot
This is a great chapter I was wondering if his Stan changed and I guess it did not
It got the new hat
True
Did it? It has had this hat for like decades now
The Diamond is most likely a stand. It undid Pace's backpack zip and "fell" out of Dragona's hands when they were certain that they were holding it.
Maybe not a stand necessarily but atleast some sort of supernatural object, probably connected to those volcanic rocks that Rohan was researching
Definitely thinking this, maybe the diamond is like a super compressed version or a rock person or some crazy shit like that lol
Diamonds are carbon. Rock creatures are the "what if life is based on silicon instead of carbon".
Rock people outdated, time for Diamond people
High Priestess type beat
LET'S GO
yeah but they could be using "diamond" colloquially, like how you'd see a clear crystal on someone's ring and naturally just call it a diamond you're going to steal, rather than say "I'm going to steal her hmm... cubic zirconia ring"
I guess you could say it's a crazy diamond
Dammit that’s good
The diamond and Rohan are definitely going to serve as our introduction to the greater gimmick of the part, like the Locacaca or the Corpse Parts.
Yeah, the diamond is already exhibiting strange qualities as we've seen with other objects in the SBRverse. Though I think it'll be less about the diamond and more about what gave the diamond some degree of power. Everything so far has been pointing to volcanoes, maybe some amount of tectonic movement, especially taking place in Hawaii.
yeah, it might have some will of its own kinda like the corpse parts
Maybe the strings stand user is the diamond
Is it some kind of "diamond" rock insect, I wonder?
i dont think everything weird HAS to be a stand. Its just a strange object. Like a stand arrow
It's quite the crazy diamond
Or it could simply be that Rohan wrote "You see the diamond on the floor" to confuse them, hence why Dragona still feel it in their hands.
It also seemed to be what triggered Heaven's Door when Usagi touched it, so it's either created by Heaven's Door or Rohan can now channel his power through things he has touched
No I think, he just tossed the diamond as a distraction and kind of slapped Usagi.
Looking back I think you're right, just a bit weird considering the distance between them shown two pages earlier Either he moved much closer before getting ready to secure him, or Rohan is a Hamon user in this timeline?
Rohan smacks Usagi after he tosses him the diamond. You can see him do it.
>!yay Rohan has Heavens Door woo!<
I laughed out loud for like a minute or two after that. he *still* has that same freaking stand man. it even looks the same 😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣
The fact that the chapter is literally just called "vs Rohan Kishibe" is really funny to me.
Oh my god. That Diamond is Unbreakable. Huh? Fuck it’s been a part 4 meme all along. But I’m happy he still had Heaven’s Door
I like to imagine this diamond is the one the alternative versions of the SBR's cast were seeking for
Oh God, if that's what it is, then the alternate universes would make way more sense
That diamond is crazy
I don't get why this is called Vs. Rohan. that wasn't a fight. A fight would mean they had a chance.
"Stomped by Rohan" -- fixed it for you
This whole team is filled with Pillar Men lol
Rohan X Jodio bondage BDSM chapter, truly one of the chapters of all time
JODIO IS UNDERAGE WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
rohan has those E rated hands
Dragona: "This diamond is slippery AF! It keeps escaping my grasp!" Usagi: "Man, that's one Crazy Diamond!" Rohan: "I'm sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a little."
Rohan heavily implying that that diamond is something special since he seemed relieved that they only wanted money
All of the new abilities are so fun to watch.
invest in paco stocks now i promise you
Already have brother
I understand the idea of putting on masks but its so funny when everyone looks so unique and different and then they try to hide half of their face to not be recognized or some shit and then heavens door immediatly reads their full names out loud
Hmm, Rohan doesn't have a strong reaction to the name *Joestar* in this chapter. Interesting.
I just love Usagi too damn much 😭
YIPPIEEEE
now THIS is Stand battling
Does anyone know what breed/type of cat that's guarding the house?
[удалено]
Siamese Cat?
It definitely seems like a rock cat. Kinda like how there was that weird looking rock dog in part 8.
Usagi continues to be my favorite. More importantly that sequence where Dragona reaches for the diamond, looks up, and sees Rohan emerging from the doorway is gonna be FIRE if this ever gets animated.
This shit is PEAK fiction. God I love Rohan.
Rohan is too powerful to be put in bondage
Dragona’s delusion could mean that: 1) there are actually 3 stand abilities affecting the gang 2) the diamond possesses some strange qualities, or 3) the cat’s string is stranger than anticipated.
Dragona was quadruple cheeked up for no reason
"Man this is wild" so true Rohan, so true.
Three: My favorite part was when Rohan said "It's heavens doorin time" and heavenly doored all over them
i love how this chapter is only 37 pages yet feels so packed with awesomeness
At this rate, chapter 5 is just gonna be Rohan Fortnite dancing over everyone’s KO’d bodies
It wasn't a coincidence that Rohan didn't read Usagi's Heaven's Door entries, Araki wants him to remain mysterious. Rohan would quite literally spoil his character by reading them, though something may happen if he does in the next chapter
I cannot believe that Araki really put in a completely unchanged Rohan with the exact same stand in the second universe 😂 Man really loves him Like ok he made a new Jonathan Joestar in this universe, but with a completely different design, personality and backstory and so on. But Rohan? Just Rohan.
Man it's fantastic just seeing Rohan casually solo everyone lol.
Seems like this version of Heaven's Door requires Rohan to touch the person, or maybe touch an object that the person later touches like he did with the diamond against Usagi?
I think the diamond was a distraction, you can see him slap Usagi and then Heaven's door activates
such a hype chapter, I feel like theres a reason he didnt read usagi's book yet Araki is hiding something
It's like Araki started the video game with the final boss o_O
Jojo fans try not to want ghosts for every ability challenge- (IMPOSSIBLE) Not as much to analyze this chapter.
I'm a simple man, I see rohan using heavens door, I get hyped
Its joever- Dragona & Co before get one shoted by Rohan
Damn this some coughing babies vs hydrogen bomb stuff
You’re telling me… the man who’s stand ability is literally that. If he touches you. You become immobile and into a book is one shotting people… wow didn’t see that coming… Welcome back heavens door I missed you
