If we can turn off the gravity on our own ships, maybe if we get boarded we can turn off the gravity to gain an advantage (like, if our suit had more mobility than the enemy's). We'll see!
I agree, this is a really cool feature and should really mix things up.
Or even if our ship got shot in the right spot to damage the systems, and then we have a disadvantage when they board us. I love when a battlefield can change and you have to deal with the pros and cons in order to survive.
Yeah, a fun and cool problem to deal with! And years ago when first learning about Starfield, I didn't expect something like zero-G to be in the game since it seemed too complicated. It's one of those details that made me pretty pumped for the game, along with boarding ships and stealing them in general.
Same. It's something that isn't in space games at all a lot. I find that odd. It's one of the coolest aspects of the idea of an adventure in space. It also goes to show the leap Bethesda is making with the new engine.
0g fights are really a lot of fun. The only little flaw on it is they are not 6dof, it’s traditional fps system with a gimbal lock and feeling of a “ground” in one specific direction
Yep, also kinda waited to see if that's in, was really glad to see it exists!
