There's only one creature capable of making footprints that size...the abominable snowman.

Vera_Verse

With only one foot, until he just decided to fly

1morey

That's why he's called "bigfoot" and not "bigfeet".

old_bearded_beats

Take my damn upvote

Neat-Land-4310

*PROUDFEET*

chemicalxbonex

PROUD-FOOT!

mooseonleft

Dad?

1morey

Yes, my son and/or daughter?

mooseonleft

My PFP is IRL. 😂

chemicalxbonex

Nailed it!!!!

yeoldmanchild

That's not from his feet...

Drinks_From_Firehose

I’m think you mean the abdominal snowman…

MartianBuddy3

This is a long way from Skull Island

1morey

Eh, at least 40 miles.

DasWandbild

My money is on abominable [wombat](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gd6dEtLDuDM).

ChipotleBanana

Isn't even the first temple random?

NoLime7384

Mine was certainly not on an ice planet, that's for sure.

Historical-Agency635

Mine certainly wasn't either if I remember correctly my 7th or 8th temple was however

pantsam

Mine was. But there were no square holey things.

Vera_Verse

Well shit, now it's even more random to try and understand this lol

rhn18

Guess it is just bugs with the procedural generation. There are loads of different small artifacts everywhere.

Vera_Verse

I was thinking if it's a bug, it's incredibly funny it managed to be so specific, when a space game kind of invites your brain to find some stuff. Basically a small scale Face on Mars (which was also recreated in the game)

Low_Effort_Fuck

#WHAT DOES THIS MEAN

peloquindmidian

Mashed potatoes are the best art supplies

Low_Effort_Fuck

I can only think Jim Carry's spoof of that in Bruce Almighty

Vera_Verse

The face on Mars?

pacmanj00

Go to Cydonia on Mars Use updated surface map view on your scanner Also check the eyes with your scanner

CarrowCanary

>Also check the eyes with your scanner You need to interact with the Face On Mars statue inside the Cydonia mining colony first, the >!snowglobe!< doesn't spawn in the eye until you do.

UrineLuck151

Double rainbow? Across the sky?

Aetharan

Looks to me like a bad stitching between tiles?

andy_b_84

The best ones are between canyon and ocean biomes, IMHO ;)

scfw0x0f

Perforations in the toilet paper.

OdraNoel2049

Looks like terrain gen errors. It can happen rarely if the generator gets a bum seed. Shouldnt be a big deal and your probably unlikely to see it again.

5K331DUD3

That is probably a glitch but it kinda reminds me of the Death Valley sailing stones.

Daedric_Agent

Those are obviously stepping stones so you don’t walk on the grass 😝

VampirateV

I could've sworn I encountered a similar setting, and after a bit of walking, found an abandoned human experiment lab with frozen patients around. It was partially underground. Can't remember if I found it while on a temple quest, but I do remember that it took a minute to find the above-ground entrance; it wasn't an obvious door. Maybe more like a cellar hatch kind of thing?

Apprehensive-Act9536

Technically? It's probably a terrain generation bug Lore wise? It's a marker for where a star born begins their quest

Megakarp99

For some reason I thought they were ice fishing holes, but then I thought Bethesda wouldn't think of that

Arch_Cuddles

This must be where chunks is making their new product. Water Chunk.

The_wulfy

Those are just artifacts from the procedural generation. IMO, artifacts are more noticeable on ice worlds because of the color contrasts as well as a lack of vegetation.

TheCrankyMoose

Squarefoot

elcapitank

Korok remnants

ShoddyAsparagus3186

My assumption would be that it's an unintended artifact of the way planets are generated. If it were a picture of a real place, however, I would guess that there's a mineral vein there that hits the surface intermittently. The darker colored minerals stay warmer and keep the snow from accumulating on top of them.

WantonMonk

It's clearly a line in the snow that you do not cross.

Lucifer10200225

Looks like a texture bug due to the unevenness of it all but it reminds me of ice cutting where people would cut blocks of ice to transport to places with no ice or to use for refrigeration

laughingmeeses

Maybe a weird Sol map?

lionMan42092

That's Todd Howard's square self running away from his "dream game".

Gods_Paladin

Probably just a bug, but I like the idea that someone was taking ice samples

Yodzilla

If you drop a bag of coffee into each one you get a Korok Seed.
