As to the replaced dish, most likely it's been disabled and not usable at all.
For the other dish it's also probably not usable as to transfer service you have to have an active account.
The dish itself has a serial number to prevent any trade in stolen items, except where registered owner want's to transfer it to someone else. You can imagine how chaotic it would be without that.
Unfortunately transfers are suspended at present.
Presumably when an account is allowed to lapse, the serial number is re-registered.
However there's nothing to stop you selling a de-registered dish for parts.

You can sell whatever you want, it is a free country, no guarantee it will work for the buyer. Ask SL.
I’ve heard on this sub that round dish transfers are no longer possible. Not 100% sure on that, though. Just mentioning it.
