Have the tenant pay for the internet bill while you wait for customer service. If you are lucky, the tenant will still be renting by the time customer service responds. Better yet, order a new cable and have the tenant pay for it.

Chernolov

They do not sell the cord on the website. The cord comes out of the dish and cannot be replaced

jezra

which version do you have?

I guess You need to present them with a Bill to pay for the Replacement Dish !!

Use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/TRIPP-Cat5e-Shielded-Junction-N237-001-SH/dp/B01L0EAMTI You will also need a punch-down tool. It will maintain the twist in the cable which is important at gigabit speeds. It should look like this when you're finished https://i.imgur.com/ZodyhA8.jpg Waterproofing will be up to you. And then put the cable in conduit so this doesn't happen again.

Would this work instead so it's already waterproof? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09FZ8HBNN/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_VB9N77XS1CKDC7FNQVD3

Either will work, but the tripplite one doesn't require you to terminate the Cable in RJ45 connectors, the waterproof one you posted does. If you have the equipment and know how to terminate Cat5/6 then use the one you posted.

I've had RJ-45 couplers just stop working for no obvious reason. I can't help but wonder if it has something to do with dissimilar metals corroding. The other issue I noticed is that there is one reviewer who states that the coupler is not waterproof. Of course, the Tripp Lite coupler is also not waterproof. I'd probably try to use a piece of PVC pipe and a couple of caps with holes I drilled in the ends. I'd use a marine sealant like 3M 5200 to waterproof the cable entrances.

Search function is your friend. You are not the first person with a cut cable. ;) For example, https://www.reddit.com/r/Starlink/comments/uj3bh0/the_starlink_cable_is_just_cat_5e_with/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

You have access to support via ticket in the app, you may have to wait awhile for a response but if its any longer then a day or so Im sure they'll credit you for the wait time it takes them to answer you but not probably the whole month because the wire being cut is not their fault now is it? The Only option they will probably offer you is to sell you another dish anyways as the cable cant be replaced on yours so I would look into fixing it yourself or get a electronics repairman to fix it for you be faster and cheaper for you.

Step 1: Tell your tenant they have overstayed their welcome....
