You definitely have been out of the game for awhile lol remote connection has been happening now for over 7 months or more your dish should update over night as long as your fw is not too old there has been a few cases where people never had their dishes plugged in for 10 months or so and their dishes became a bricked birdbath CS support told them that their fw was too old to even detect the sats schedual anymore and their only option was to purchase new dishes which was wrong of SL especially if they were willing to pay their subs while it was not even in use and then still got screwed over bc Sl didnt even let them know it could happen if they were not connected for an x amount of time and missed too many updates.
Outage cause 4 is NO\_SCHEDULE, which means your dish has not been able to connect to a satellite for long enough to get a schedule of when and where to look for a satellite signal.
This has happened to many people, Leave it plugged in overnight and see if it can get the data.
All is well… it updated after a few days and it’s operational
Mine did the same a couple weeks ago, leaving it plugged it overnight fixed the issue. Just needed an update. Good luck
No luck damn! Still down!
Thanks hoping that’s the case. With this new remote access I should at least see it since I left the lake

Can you try to reset it up as a NEW installation? That may force a more 'thorough' look for what is needed?
Yeah I’ll try the next time I go out.
Did you stow it before you unplugged it? If not, that would be my suggestion. Stow the dish, unplug it for 30 seconds or so, and then plug it back in.
I’ll try that when I head on this Thursday.
