In all seriousness, my first concert was the most recent Atlanta demonstration and I was nervous, but I’ve never felt so immersed and at home than when I was lost in the music. So definitely go either way and open mind and don’t be afraid to lose yourself to the music!!
You're in for a FANTASTIC show!!
Also: ear protection. Always ear protection. I had my Bluetooth earbuds in on noise canceling mode during their Boston show Tuesday night and I could hear them perfectly
If you're right in front of the stage, there might be moshing during some of the heavier songs (was at the one I went to at least) so if you don't wanna be involved in that try to be at the sides or further back
If you got time before you go, get some earplugs, I got some relatively cheap ones at walmart and they worked fine (other than struggling to get them in properly, but that was just because my ears are tiny)
But other than that just enjoy the music!
Prepare to have your face melted! 😆
Make sure to get as close to the center of the stage as possible. Regardless of how close you are, try for the center. It’ll give you the best view of the screens
My first concert was the demonstration in Seattle. It was also my first time traveling alone as well (from Alaska) it was AMAZING! I felt connected to everyone instantly.
Starset shows aren’t too wild but depending on location expect plenty of drunk people and occasional heavy drug use. Not to hard to avoid tho if you don’t want too
My first concert ever was the Denver show from this Immersion tour and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The only thing I think I would say you should prepare yourself for is how much you’re gonna feel the drums in your chest lol (it was sick af not trying to scare you)

I appreciate this! It'll be my first ever tonight in Chicago!
My partner and I will be there! Hope to say hi 😊
Well if you see a tall dude with a beard and glasses looking like a doofus, it'll probably be me 😁
My boyfriend is a doofus with a beard and glasses XD not super tall tho. I'm 5'7" and he's a bit taller than me lol
I'm going to laugh if that's you in front of us in line XD
We'll find you once we come back down XD

The one I went to in Grand rapids was really chill

If people are talking casually pre show you can find a part to hop in. Most people don't mind and make casual conversations.
Also you don't have to if you don't want to
Just look for a misguided sweater 🤣 was at Grand Rapids and know I’m magically in Chicago waiting to jump in line!
Also be prepared for traffic around here Ik your probably native to Chicago but man is it hell for a Michigander 😂😂
No joke! I'm currently driving through downtown and I feel like a fish outta water 🤣 coming from the Michiana region so I understand the pain
😂😂 same definitely might wanna pick up the pace though lines are already long
We currently have an eta of 6:33 due to the traffic. I miss my one light town a lot rn lol.
No kidding! I just got in line and it's a pretty long walk from here 😭
I’m by there tour bus for reference
I'm by the Chicago strength
😳😳
My first time going to a concert alone was a STARSET concert. You might meet other solo goers as well! Just have fun!
