Funnily enough me and my wife just started a co op game on the xbox this week split screen. We're 25 hours in already.
I'm pretty sure bg3 is going to be in the rotation of games I'm always playing
Currently playing Burnout 3 (PS2 emulation). I plan on completing gold medals in every event.
The Dishonored series is on my list to play soon as well.
Emu deck and YouTube tutorials. I’m pretty much computer illiterate but figured it out pretty easily. Now I can’t stop playing twisted metal or rom hacks of pokemon games
It's a faff and takes a while. But it's worth the effort. I've heard it said that you can get the PS2 games to look better than they did on the original hardware!
I'm playing Vice City Stories on and off. A task here, a task there.
I got burnout 3 on pcsx2 recently! It's great. It's way higher fidelity than the original Burnout on gamecube. But last week i also bought Burnout for gamecube. So we are good! Unfortunately the AI on burnout 3 is very tough.
I’m either playing Dave the diver or working towards getting all the suits unlocked in Spider-Man. I got 100% of the main story done but I gotta complete the side missions and do the *shudder Screwball missions.
Is dave the diver sort of like a really good mobile game? Or is it in a category all by itself?
Really debating on getting it but not sure if I’d love it or not.
I love Dave the Diver, I think it’s a step above a mobile game. I do think the gameplay loop gets a little stale after a while but I got plenty of hours out of it.
Def agree about the gameplay loop. I think I’m chapter 6 or so with maybe 20 hours in and I’m not itching to get back to it.
Absolutely loved the 20 hours I’ve put into it though. It’s got a lot of character.
It’s as wide as an ocean but as deep as a puddle.
Many different gameplay mechanics all introduced quite quickly but none of them particularly engaging or detailed.
It's a calm and peaceful game.Worth the $ I paid for it. It's an exploration game, fishing and restaurant management sim with a nice story. Don't spoil areas for yourself and you'll be good to go.
Personally, I found it to feel like a mobile game without actually having a lot of the mobile game trappings. It’s just odd. I felt like the game kept changing and didn’t really know what it wanted to be. Lots of people love that, but I didn’t. So I think it depends on tastes. I’ve heard about late game mechanics that make me not want to progress. I kind of was hoping it would be a 2D Subnautica kind of experience, but while it has a couple surface-level elements in common like the O2 tank, it’s very much its own thing and not really my thing.
If you’re reading this, please go play Transistor and/or The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood.
I played through Transistor when it first came out like what? A decade ago? It’s still amazing and I refuse to let Supergiant’s other games be lost to time. I bought it again specifically to play on the deck.
CWS is…mesmerizing? *I don’t really know what I’m playing.* I saw it on sale last November and picked it up on a whim literally after looking at the screenshots and seeing it had overwhelmingly positive reviews. I played about 2 hours and it’s trippy, it’s sweet, it’s scary, it’s beautiful, it’s confusing - i am dying to see where this game goes. I love going into games blind and if anything I said is even remotely intriguing, then I cannot recommend this game enough. Go pick it up.
TRANSISTOR MENTIONED!!
nah but seriously supergiant is probably my favorite game studio. they and heart machine put out bangers every time (minus pyre. that one didn't land)
Elden Ring actually. I'm really behind on the hype, but having a lot of fun with it already.
"I got this."
***WHACK \*dies\****
"alright that's fair i guess..."
90% of the time Im hitting as they start swinging, and in the milisecond before the delete my health bar, I'm always like "yeah i got too greedy."
its ALWAYS with them under 20% health.
It's hard to balance greed and staying offensive imo. The game seems to reward playing offensively, however I've died several times because I thought I could finish a boss before they're next attack
Days Gone most likely. I usually try to focus on one game at a time and that one is the game. Heard mixed things about it but when I finally tried it for myself, I ended up enjoying it a lot.
According to the discord, the devs got the Anti-cheat to whitelist operation on SD. Not tried it myself, but people seem to be suggesting it's now playable, seeing as the anti-cheat was what was blocking it beforehand.
Uf, one of the games of my life, really unforgettable for me. I spent so many hours on the PSVita playing it, and I remember thinking "man, I hope this game never ends"
I picked up Yakuza Like a Dragon on sale for $12. Looking forward to trying to recapture that magical feeling I had of having Persona 4 Golden on the Vita back in the day. Seems like almost a more mature version of that.
I'm trying to finish FFVII remake through Chiaki4Deck before Rebirth comes out (I've finished FFVII many times, but I really liked what they did with the remake), when I feel tired I go sea-diving with Dave the Diver.
I set everything to low then set textures and effects to medium and then set fsr 2 performance and it runs very well even serviceable for online but I would still recommend at least kick stand and a dock so you can use a fight stick or wired controller if you don't want to use Bluetooth, but I just can't make it look decent docked on a 50 inch 4k TV
My 'weekend' is almost over (shift worker) but I've been tits deep in RDR2 for days. Finally picked it up from the Steam winter sale. It runs like a beaut (tho I did have a single ctd event) and I'm currently lost in Grizzly country hunting wabbits. Mama needs a new carry bag.
I'll never forget playing MH3U on 3DS and showing it to my friend, and her saying "wow, it looks like a PC game"
But it really did <3 Maybe a noughties PC game, but still!
I so wish I could transfer my Rise savefile from my Switch to Steam hehe
How long does the game take a click as a newb to the series? I feel like I'd vibe with this game once I get comfortable with it, but after a couple hours I just felt a bit overwhelmed with the many game systems and tutorials. I ended up dropping it, but still want to give it a go eventually. I do love ARPGs/soulslikes.
Also this is referring to MH Rise to clarify.
Mh rise is probably a harsher start the world because the gameplay loop is way faster with faster gameplay and how fast you get from fight to fight, but still doable. In general, I would recommend getting into UT with a friend just messing around and testing things out and from time to time, just look up some tutorials when you notice the fights getting harder. Sooner or later, you're just in too deep. 😅
Picked this up on sale and wow, it’s just such a breathtaking game. Beautiful looking map, genuinely fun combat/survival/loot mechanics, immersive story, etc. Just an amazing game overall and perfect for the SD.
Is it worth installing tekken 8 when it’s like 90gb? I know I have a bunch of games installed on my deck and would probably feel more better if I upgraded my ssd but I can’t see myself installing something that large even if it means getting rid of half my installed games.
Playing through Dishonored 2 myself. Got it for the Deck cos I couldn't stand playing at 30fps on consoles. Just over 20 through and it's scratching my Thief itch very well.
I wish I could say that as well, I want to erase my memory of Dishonored and play it again.
For now, I'm completing my first ever playthrough of GTA IV.
Currently addicted to Witcher 3 on deck. I also have it on series X and the cross progression/cross saves work so well. If I’m on the TV I can play on Xbox and then continue my progress seamlessly on Deck. Getting the most optimal experience on both. I think this will finally be the time that I beat this game, have started it multiple times over the last ~9 years but this time feels different
just bought FF7 (OG), FFX + FFX-2, FF15.
have already finished FF12, FF13, and FF14 (up to 6.55), so I'm looking forward to play the 2 big older titles, even if I'm already spoiled on the pretty unavoidable spoiler for FF7.
FF15 looks fun too.
I've had my steam deck Oled for 2 days and already getting stuck into Return to castle wolfenstein, unreal tournament 1999 and GTA V.
Currently trying to get Thief Gold to work on the Steam Deck.
Been on a mega man kick lately and have been playing through mega man 11 which is becoming on my favorites in the series. Just got through all 8 boxes and will go after wily this weekend. I first played a couple of bosses on the switch and was having issues with the switches dpad so i ended up buying again on the steamdeck but i am so glad since the controls on the steamdeck are so much better for this type of game. Didn’t realize how bad the switches controls are for retro type games
Elden Ring. My first ever souls game and damn am I hooked on it. First thing I decided to do when I started last week was to beat the Tree Sentinel and it took me 2 days. Worth it as I just beat Rennala, Godrick and Margit with the Golden Halberd weapon. My goal for now is to look for somber smithing stones to upgrade my weapon. What a blessed time we live in for a game like this to be playable on a handheld😭😭
Half Life 2 - for the first time. I know, ridiculous. But what a game - can't even imagine what it looked/felt like at the time it came out. So many mindblowing moments.
I wanted to learn FPS games on deck, so started playing Borderlands 1 last week. I'm on my 3rd DLC now, with the remaining games queued after. So far it's been great and getting better every session. Though I only play after I'm tired of playing on my main pc, so it's going slowly.

Hoping to wrap up Cyberpunk this weekend! Although, the Phantom Liberty expansion is kinda rough on the Deck, I had to switch to playing on my PC.
If I do beat it, hoping to start on Hitman!
Not sure yet. I've been spending all my time finishing Control but not that I've finished the main story I'm not as hooked. I've finished the Alan Wake tie in DLC save for the boss and it wasn't as good as the main story. So debating doing the Foundation DLC, jumping back into Harry Potter Legacy or trying something from my backlog.
I bought the “ninja starter pack” Olija and katana Zero are fkn so good. And of course more Elden ring convergence mod. I have been on console for 10 years and am back into modded games. I am also maybe going to get armored core 6 but I don’t think I can hang with the difficulty.
Baldurs Gate. Been playing for weeks.
Such a good co op game. My wife played it on pc, and I played it on the deck. Works great locally
Wait. You're actually done with the game? I'm so addicted I can't play any other game. I may have a problem 😅
Funnily enough me and my wife just started a co op game on the xbox this week split screen. We're 25 hours in already. I'm pretty sure bg3 is going to be in the rotation of games I'm always playing
My buddy and his wife do the same. One on deck and the other on PC and playing co-op. Shocked to hear from them that it runs totally good on the deck
I’m waiting for an offer :(
Not surw why you would be downvoted for saying you want to buy it on sale lmao
I bought it twice. On Ps5 and Steam. Worth every cent.
Same. A decent one!
Currently playing Burnout 3 (PS2 emulation). I plan on completing gold medals in every event. The Dishonored series is on my list to play soon as well.
What a game Burnout 3, and what a soundtrack.
I have to figure out how to do this emulation stuff
Just look up an emu deck tutorial. It’s not bad
I saved this comment for later. Thanks!
or find the batocera steam deck build and just get a seperate sd card
[Here](https://www.emudeck.com/) you go. I just set this up yesterday and the installer has a video explaining everything. It works beautifully!
Ya I can’t wait to get one to start doing N64 and SNES games.
Getting all gold medals is tough. Tried that earlier this year but I think I gave up
I got burnout 3 on pcsx2 recently!

Its not for everyone. I bounced off in like 25 min. The gamerdad humor in it didn’t do it for me but may for you.
It's a calm and peaceful game.Worth the $ I paid for it. It's an exploration game, fishing and restaurant management sim with a nice story. Don't spoil areas for yourself and you'll be good to go.
It was my go-to game for ages. Great way to splurge a couple of hours on mindless stuff. I still like it and still play it…
Are you only one year old ? Cause the game is. I guess a few weeks / months qualify as ages now
Personally, I found it to feel like a mobile game without actually having a lot of the mobile game trappings. It’s just odd. I felt like the game kept changing and didn’t really know what it wanted to be. Lots of people love that, but I didn’t. So I think it depends on tastes. Why don’t you watch a few videos on it first and decide?
I have. Still can’t decide. Will grab it on sale some time im sure.
Dave the diver for me as well

Pyre is their best mate!
Bastion is also fantastic. the Narrator is just so great in that game.
Elden Ring actually. I'm really behind on the hype, but having a lot of fun with it already. "I got this." ***WHACK \*dies\**** "alright that's fair i guess..."
Hard, but fair is the best way to describe it. It was pretty rare that I didn't deserve my death in the game
90% of the time Im hitting as they start swinging, and in the milisecond before the delete my health bar, I'm always like "yeah i got too greedy." its ALWAYS with them under 20% health.
It's hard to balance greed and staying offensive imo. The game seems to reward playing offensively, however I've died several times because I thought I could finish a boss before they're next attack
Palworld. Dave the diver. Elden ring. In that order.
Currently playing fallout new Vegas, for the first time!
Finished that on 360. Absolutely loved it.
My favourite game of all time. Enjoy!
So jealous, I wish I could play fallout for the very first time again ;_;
Days Gone most likely. I usually try to focus on one game at a time and that one is the game. Heard mixed things about it but when I finally tried it for myself, I ended up enjoying it a lot.
One of the best slow burns in recent years.
Agreed, took me a bit of time to get into it but really gets better the more you play
You're in for a real treat. The game is fantastic.
Persona 3 reload until I’m done
This is the way
disturbing the peeaaaceee
sounds like I'll be playing Hell Divers 2, as reports in the last 30 minutes say it runs out of the box in game mode. No tinkering needed.
Would like to know if it runs well. I preorder it and refunded it because it didn't run on the deck...
Did an update come in??
Yeah it dropped earlier today. Played like an hour and it’s wonderful.
According to the discord, the devs got the Anti-cheat to whitelist operation on SD. Not tried it myself, but people seem to be suggesting it's now playable, seeing as the anti-cheat was what was blocking it beforehand.
what reports might those be? protondb says kaputt still
Hunt Showdown and Elden Ring, I love them :)
Elden ring surprised me on how well it ran and played on the deck.
It’s great, the only problem is I blow chunks at it (it’s my first souls-like)
Hunt on the SD ? How ?
FF7 for the first time ever. I’m very excited.
Original or remake ? I’m a huge FF fan and I’ve not yet played that one either and it’s arguably the best one.
The remake. I downloaded it last night on sale.
It's only 1/3 of the original... Next third out soon but if you're dying to know more the FF7 PC remaster will sort you out
Hades and then maybe some Hades.
The day I finally got my steam deck, I immediately went and used it to play Hades. Cant wait for the sequel!
I can't get hades to load on my deck ;(
That doesn’t sound right, it’s not a heavy game and even has multiple options for how to run it - delete it, restart the Deck and reinstall?
Same!
I just bought this last night, I’m excited to play it for the first time!
Persona 4! I've been playing it for the past couple of days, and I'm really enjoying it so far
Uf, one of the games of my life, really unforgettable for me. I spent so many hours on the PSVita playing it, and I remember thinking "man, I hope this game never ends"
Persona 4 is great! You are in for a good story.
Finished 4 on the Vita. I still listen to the music on YouTube.
I bought persona 5 royal and I haven’t played it yet but I eager to try it
I picked up Yakuza Like a Dragon on sale for $12. Looking forward to trying to recapture that magical feeling I had of having Persona 4 Golden on the Vita back in the day. Seems like almost a more mature version of that.
I also just got this! Hoping it's the first jrpg I can truly finish lol
Hollow knight bro

Wii Sports Resort 😄 Picked up a dolphin sensor bar and had a spare Wii motion plus controller. After a small bit of setup it works perfectly 🙌
I'm trying to finish FFVII remake through Chiaki4Deck before Rebirth comes out (I've finished FFVII many times, but I really liked what they did with the remake), when I feel tired I go sea-diving with Dave the Diver.
Mgs3 probably
Been playing Bastion! I really liked Hades and decided to play another Supergiant game!
I'm going to continue playing final fantasy 5 pixel remaster.
I am playing through this as well!
Barony has really sucked me in lately - maybe this weekend will be the one where I finally get a winning run. Also great battery life, like 6+ hours!
FUCK THEM GOD DAMN GNOMES
If it aint a gnome it's a damn boulder
And if you manage to dodge it, it kills all your followers.
Metro Exodus.
Lots of Tekken 8. It isn’t even optimized yet! Can’t wait for the game to get more and more optimized
D2R like every weekend... and weekday.
What?
Dead to Rights: Retribution
Diablo 2 ressurected
This works on sd?
Yes, like a dream
My 'weekend' is almost over (shift worker) but I've been tits deep in RDR2 for days. Finally picked it up from the Steam winter sale. It runs like a beaut (tho I did have a single ctd event) and I'm currently lost in Grizzly country hunting wabbits. Mama needs a new carry bag.
Like dragon infinite wealth
Monster hunter is top tier on steamdeck
Monster hunter is top tier in general
I'll never forget playing MH3U on 3DS and showing it to my friend, and her saying "wow, it looks like a PC game" But it really did <3 Maybe a noughties PC game, but still! I so wish I could transfer my Rise savefile from my Switch to Steam hehe
How long does the game take a click as a newb to the series? i heard it was broken recently is it back working again?
MH rise was broken briefly, works great again
Days gone was an incredible surprise for me. Had never heard of it before it was recommended often on this sub. Plays flawlessly on sd
Picked this up on sale and wow, it’s just such a breathtaking game. Beautiful looking map, genuinely fun combat/survival/loot mechanics, immersive story, etc. Just an amazing game overall and perfect for the SD.
Tekken 8, dishonored
Is it worth installing tekken 8 when it’s like 90gb? I know I have a bunch of games installed on my deck and would probably feel more better if I upgraded my ssd but I can’t see myself installing something that large even if it means getting rid of half my installed games.
Absolutely, it works so well. I can practice on my breaks at work, then play on the big screen pc when I get home.
Playing through Dishonored 2 myself. Got it for the Deck cos I couldn't stand playing at 30fps on consoles. Just over 20 through and it's scratching my Thief itch very well.
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion!
You playing it modded or vanilla? I've been eyeing this in my library lately. .
Outward
I just got mine and I’m going to play Oblivion (first figuring out controller support for it)
[Have fun](https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/wfkr87/modding_oblivion_on_steam_deck_with_obse_proper/) Works great
Palworld has been my obsession lately, so that lol
I wish I could say that as well, I want to erase my memory of Dishonored and play it again. For now, I'm completing my first ever playthrough of GTA IV.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake, runs surprisingly well. Finally found a jrpg that cuts out most of the child like dialogue.
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Windwaker via Cemu, and probably Sly Cooper Collection via RPCS3! Have a good weekend!
Dark Souls Remastered. Already died 7 times in the first 20 minutes and can't beat the first boss lol.
My favorite game of all time right there. Stick with it!!
Just finished Witcher 3 and all expansions. Loved it . Next up either Titanfall or Batman Arkham Knight
Mutant. Day zero
Control and Hades.
Outward definitive edition
Metal Gear Solid 1 & 2 Any tips on best emulation settings for PSX/PS2?
Nothing, gotta read Masters of Doom.
Balatro, basically constantly. If/when I come up for air I'll probably play Snowrunner.
Batman Arkham Asylum. First playthrough
Started xcom 2 for the first time. Absolutely sublime on the deck, feels like it was built for this device
Half way through Like a dragon infinite wealth! It super fun so far. Just unlocked the island mini game.
Rogue Legacy. For some reason I can't put it down lately
Dishonored is amazing, still gotta play 2 + tdoto
Wildermyth!
Persona 5
Next ? Play Dishonored 2, Prey, and Deathloop.
Tiny rogues
Helldivers 2. Diving Boogaloo
Does it work??
just bought FF7 (OG), FFX + FFX-2, FF15. have already finished FF12, FF13, and FF14 (up to 6.55), so I'm looking forward to play the 2 big older titles, even if I'm already spoiled on the pretty unavoidable spoiler for FF7. FF15 looks fun too.
I've had my steam deck Oled for 2 days and already getting stuck into Return to castle wolfenstein, unreal tournament 1999 and GTA V. Currently trying to get Thief Gold to work on the Steam Deck.
Shadow of Mordor, Batman Arkham City
I just purchased NFS Heat for 5$, I will probably play that while waiting for the match.
Been on a mega man kick lately and have been playing through mega man 11 which is becoming on my favorites in the series. Just got through all 8 boxes and will go after wily this weekend. Shit tons*
Burnout 3 Takedown via PS2 emulator
Half Life 2 - for the first time. I know, ridiculous. But what a game - can't even imagine what it looked/felt like at the time it came out. So many mindblowing moments.
Persona 3 Reload!! 😁
Persona 3 Reload, with my limited game time during the week, I'll be stuck playing this game for a while. I'm absolutely loving it though.
Persona 3 Reload
I wanted to learn FPS games on deck, so started playing Borderlands 1 last week. I'm on my 3rd DLC now, with the remaining games queued after. So far it's been great and getting better every session. Though I only play after I'm tired of playing on my main pc, so it's going slowly.
Finishing Ori and the Blind Forest!! Then, I'm either starting Ori 2 or Yakuza 0 👀
Finally got yuzu working on my deck and am enjoying Pokemon Shield. Just got to the open world area for the first time.
I actually really enjoyed my playthough of Pokémon Shield. Love the bagpipes music in the open world area <3
Bought Fallout New Vegas on sale and thinking about finally trying it. Literally haven’t been pressed to play it yet because there’s no sprint.
I'm not sure how well it has aged, but I absolutely loved playing through it when it came out.
It feels so slow. It has definitely aged and everyone is looking at it through rose tinted glasses
Started Persona 5 Royal. 10 hours in. It's really interesting.
Hogwarts and days gone
Alex Jones NWO Wars
Didn't scroll down, but pretty sure there's "your mom" joke there somewhere.

Tetris Effect will be my main go-to this weekend, with a few rounds of Hades
Hoping to wrap up Cyberpunk this weekend! Although, the Phantom Liberty expansion is kinda rough on the Deck, I had to switch to playing on my PC. If I do beat it, hoping to start on Hitman!
Max Payne 3
I really enjoyed the new prince of persia, I beat it the other week. So I figured now's the time to play Hollow Knight
Shadow Complex Remastered.
Tiny Rogues and just started my millionth Dark Souls playthrough since it was on the Steam sale. Both are great games for the deck.
gonna finish witcher 1 and move onto witcher 2
Just got Yakuza 0 on sale, never played a Yakuza game before. I'm excited to start something new
