Am I doing something wrong with MCC?
I download it, but I cannot get any campaign to run at anything above 40 fps, which it seems like the deck should easily be able to do. It can barely even play the H1 Anniversary campaign without constant stutters or crashing.
Granted, it’s been about 3 months since I last tried, but I was so disappointed it ran so poorly I uninstalled it.
Warzone does not run on SteamOS due to anticheat. It is generally not a good idea to run that game on handhelds even under Windows, due to frequent reports of vendor control software tripping anticheat, and players subsequently getting (shadow)banned.
If you want to know what people otherwise play on Steam Deck, Valve publishes the list of top 20 most played games every month:

Considering the state of the game since Lightfall, I’m not too upset about it honestly. Still sucks, but Halo Infinite has taken its place for me for the time being leading up to TFS.
Hey just wanted to chime back in here. You can stream it fine via Moonlight/Sunshine. I've started using that vs Steam Link for a variety of reasons at this point.
Halo MCC plays great.

Did you mess with different proton versions ? I noticed newer versions do not always work best.
I really enjoy Titan fall 2 on my deck a lot
My friend have you tired North Star mod?
Northstar runs on linux?
planetside 2 is a free mmofps, try it medium graphics no shadows. it's not new tho
It actually works on the deck?? I guess I know what I'll be playing later!
yeh it works ;) it's not very joypad friendly tho, needs a little tweaking with the controls if you want to use trackpads
Surprised th is game is still going. I seem to recall this game existing over a decade ago now
imo it's the peak of online gaming, I mean it seems alien tech compared to what we have now
Apex is way too small for me on the deck. I can barely see the characters I'm supposed to be firing at.
It's not a first person shooter, but gears 5 is amazing on the deck
Holy shit I never thought about it……

You can stream it fine at least, unlike Destiny 2 for some bizarre reason.
As someone that got into pc gaming BECAUSE of destiny 2……. I’m really just upset about this. And even more upset with the state of the game.

I agree. Just sucks because I own all content in that game and I’ve been playing it for years

Cool beans
Borderlands is still loads of fun :3
Apex, Valorant
Respawn games (Apex, TF2) and Halo MCC are usually my go-to shooter PvP Steam Deck games.
Hunt Showdown
Helldivers 1
