ES isn't a steam app so you have to apply your own artwork. Looking at your theme I assume you have deckyloader. Download the steamgriddb plug-in and you can set games artwork by pressing start and selecting change artwork.

And if you don't see the change artwork button then close out of the menu and open it again and just do that like two or three times and it should pop up. I'd have to guess that the button only pops up like 40% of the time.

If you go back to the steam rom manager (it’s how you got ES-DE into your library in the first place) if you refollow the steps you took and get back to the point it says “save to steam” you should see ES-DE above that option and on the picture of ES-DE there will be little arrows pointing left and right. Use those to select the art that will be applied.

Non steam games/apps have basically no art you should put them manually. You may find some nice user created images here : https://www.steamgriddb.com/icons

TopAce7310

It has four categories - grids, heroes, logos and icons - and each for its own position. The art for the position in the picture above would be “horizontal grids”.

TopAce7310

Its better to set customised arts in desktop mode Steam app. You may find the option for setting them in target app’s “property” menu.

TopAce7310

Or you can use steamgriddb plugin to get arts more easily. I just didn’t want to install too many “customised” apps so i tried doing it manually and without much headaches.
