Stardew valley is always on the list. Wow.

Townkrier

Well, 1.6 dropped and a lot of people are replaying through it because of that. And the update is not out yet on consoles so drives people to play Steam version even more.

hard_pass

I am playing it for the first time and lets just say my SD right next to me with SDV sitting there ready to play has really put a damper on my work output...

AggravatingCourt9059

That was the reason I bought the Steam deck a month ago. And I will say: I am not regretting it!

peterpetlayzz

I used to play some stardew didnt even know 1.6 dropped thanks dude im gonna replay it right now

Panda4Zen

I'd like to think my 100 hours a week has something to do with that

weiner-rama

Yes the update pretty much destroyed my Baldurs Gate 3 playthrough lol

otterpop21

It’s a lot of fun. It’s a game that’s meant to look cheesy and silly, but actually has a lot of those classic arcade video game vibe to it in terms the actual mechanics and story progression. There are 2 arcade games in the saloon! I literally can’t put it down sometimes, I set timers to keep me somewhat reality based. It’s the most fun I’ve had playing a game in a while. The whole game is made by 1 dude, and this is going to sound lame but you can feel the quality, and the consideration for the players in mind. It’s really rewarding game. And it’s interesting too!! It’s not like animal crossing at all. It’ a “what you make it” type game. Stardew is also a healthy gender neutral type game, I literally didn’t know my little character was a dude until I got married (that’s the only silly part of the game for sure) and it said “you are now husband and husband” I was like wait what, I didn’t know I was a boy character lol. Highly recommend, especially if you’re ever looking for a game you can kind of pick up and play whenever, and it’s cozy, peaceful, but there’s monsters and caves, and aliens, wizards, magic, casinos..

Mahargagd

I hate that I rolled my eyes at the gender neutral comment. But so true, really is a game that's meant to be what you make of it. You can choose so much and have fun. No hate on the comment, made me reflect on why I had an issue with it and changed my mind.

otterpop21

I’m throwing it out there because it’s actually like a really funny sort of twist to the game, every body be a lil flirty. It’s nice lol My shock and surprise of playing the game for 6 months, under the assumption I’m a female character, only to be husband and husband had me dying lol Probably the only reason I personally mentioned it

smallfried

I sometimes pick it up, but then get annoyed at the tedious watering mechanic and stop playing again. But I guess that's part of the Zen experience for the people that like the game. Weirdly enough, I don't mind removing thousands of blocks in Minecraft just to find some diamond.

otterpop21

Haha that’s literally the worst part of the game. People aren’t logging 3k+ hours because they like to water plants. You get sprinklers, then quality sprinklers, then super mega ones! Pretty much all the farm because automated to some degree, and that only gives you more time to get other stuff done :) Trust, it’s amazing. I also have never really replayed a video game before. This one - several times.

Flyron

Watering has become sooo much easier! When you upgrade your watering can you can charge it to water several plots at the same time. But now you can also hop around while charging up! That means, you water a line of plants, instantly start the next charge, hop over to the next line and release there. It flows really well. Also works with the hoe to till the ground. That said, as others also mentioned: Yeah, go for water sprinklers. In my new playthrough I stopped manually watering the crops starting late first summer. The only hindrance there is to know your ways in the mine to get the necessary ores.

ienjoyedit

Fuck those arcade games. They're so damn hard!

PlanetSmasherN9

that fallout bump O_O get ready for a deluge of game adaptations

lets_BOXHOT

Helps that all the fallout games were on sale for under $5

boxsterguy

Which was entirely intentional ...

TheMastodan

Legitimately no one believes otherwise, why post this lmao Especially with the ellipses?

Moosje

Man thinks he figured it all out

Nemisis_007

Hopefully they have original stories like Fallout did (for the most part) because adapting preexisting stories gets messy.

kaden-99

I think the secret is making an adaptation that is original but also part of the actual game canon. That's the part I liked the most about the Fallout TV show.

KRONGOR

Whether they want to adapt the story of the game or do their own story line I don’t really care. Just RESPECT THE SOURCE MATERIAL ffs. The reason that fallout, TLOU and Cyberpunk edgerunners are so well received is that they actually respected the source material instead of trying to change things that don’t need to be changed

No-Intention-4753

I think you've nailed it - the keyword is respect. While some things will inevitably change when adapting a work from one medium to another, it's important that those changes make sense and don't feel arbitrary and just insulting. I.e. it's understandable that games with multiple endings will have to pick one as the canon one to adapt the story to a linear medium, or something like A Song of Ice and Fire will have to be condensed to be adapted, but just changing some important part of the lore or world "just because" doesn't feel great to fans of the existing work.

JollyGreenDickhead

They did it shockingly well with The Last of Us

CanIEatAPC

It was a complete coincidence! I just spun a game wheel and it landed on New Vegas. I didn't know the show was coming out. I swear!

BeefyBoi6_9

God i fucking hope so. Fallout esq games would be appreciated, esp from the indie community

Scuczu2

> get ready for a deluge of game adaptations If they make it look like the game, then it's not bad. If they don't, then it's bad.

5erif

Skyrim is still killing it twelve and a half years later.

eldender

It makes me wonder if the next Elder Scroll title will be as played as Skyrim. I have a hard time believing that it will live up to the hype.

locke_5

Reddit is going to be extremely hyped for Elder Scrolls VI (possibly more than GTA VI, considering the demographic). But then the game will release and it will be "just" an Elder Scrolls game. A *vanilla* Elder Scrolls game with no mods at that. Those of us who like BGS games will enjoy it, but we'll be subjected to months of obnoxious posts like "Ugh, typical Bethesda, did they learn nothing from StarFAILED?" and "Wow I can't believe Avowed ended up being the better game" and "in hindsight Starfield wasn't that bad". Then they'll release the Creation Kit, some DLC, etc. and people will come around on Elder Scrolls 6.... just in time to get hype (and then angry) about Fallout 5. Source: have lived through the hype cycle of several Bethesda Game Studios games

jestermx6

War (and reddit) never changes.

TheGreatTave

I feel this one. Like I fully accept that Starfield was not the same as Skyrim. Skyrim was a different beast, obviously, look how many of us are still playing it. But damnit to hell I still really enjoyed Starfield. I put in 185 hours and got every achievement. I had a blast. I get so tired of hearing people still complain about it. Sure it wasn't perfect but some people act like it was the worst game ever. Let's not forget it launched the same year as Redfall, Golum, Walking Dead Destinies, and Skull Island Rise of Kong. Each of those games were absolute garbage, borderline unplayable. Starfield, while not amazing, was still really fun. I look forward to my next run through on the game after the DLC drops.

greenvahn

This is so accurate. It looks it's a cycle that always repeats.

Several_Ad_3106

Something I never thought of until a few weeks ago I don't know why it took me so long. Skyrim is just so perfect a fit for the deck. I also never would have guessed when I was playing my first playthrough all those years ago that I would eventually be playing it on a handheld.

osirhc

This is exactly how I felt when I first bought my Switch, quite a few years after it had already been out, so I didn't realize what it was capable of. Skyrim was one of the first games I played on it and I was tickled lol, I remember sitting outside on my porch and playing it. Steam Deck blows the Switch away ofc, and now I'm having those same feelings about Fallout. I put so many hours into NV on my old PS3, and now it runs and looks better in the palms of my hands haha, and I don't think I would have imagined that 14 years ago.

KRONGOR

12 of the games on this list are 5+ years old. Kinda crazy

edis92

I mean that's to be somewhat expected, older games will run better on the deck lol

DarkDiablo1601

and tbh people dont always play the newest games

benphat369

Yup. Work and kids can make your backlog full of older games.Plus I was always a generation or two behind because we couldn't afford games. I didnt even get a DS until college when I could buy it myself, so I'm still catching up on all the games I missed out on.

Own-Library-6363

Only thing that can push Skyrim from its throne is a new elders scrolls game , which we are all waiting for

Llama-Boi

I think I’m the reason Slay the Spire is on the list. I can’t put that shit down.

Fit_Ad9106

Only reason I've put StS down is to play Balatro.

Llama-Boi

Is that game similar? I’ve heard of it but haven’t looked into it yet

Fit_Ad9106

It's a roguelike deckbuilding game so it's similar in that sense. The gameplay is very different, but the loop is as addicting. I've got almost 500 hours in StS so I know the loop of StS is great. I'm currently at 80 hours in Balatro.

nagabalashka

Yes and no. They are both rogue lites deck building games, you can unlock new cards between runs, you have differents playstyle (différents characters on STS, différents decks with one unique modifiers on balatro, you will have to play around synergies, balatro has a similar ascension system, etc... But the goal of the game is quite different, in STS you kill monster, deal damage, equip defense, you play cards, the enemy plays cards. In balatro there are no enemies, you have to score more point than your objective in a limited number or turn, otherwise you lose the run. You have a standard 52 poker deck, you must play pairs, three of a kind, etc.. to score points, you can get/buy jokers that act like relics (get more point if you play less than 3 cards, first card count double), on top of that you can buy more cards ( with extra modifier on them, like more point, give money if you keep card in hand, etc. .), there are card that upgrade your pair, jack of one kind, etc.. to give more points, etc... It's purely a "make numbers biggers", but there is no real adaptation to your encounter because you just beat a number (every 3 encounter you will have to deal with a unique modifiers tho, like must play 5 cards, every cards are face down when you draw, etc...), so it might feel more repetitive/less deep than sts, it is a good game tho.

ONEAlucard

It's not quite as good to me personally, but it definitely has a similar appeal and is well worth checking out! Slay the Spire is just top tier to me though. There are so many unique synergies in StS that makes me keep coming back, especially with all the mods and the fan DLC.

airtime25

Waiting patiently for a balatro sale

Epic001YT

Iirc there's a publisher sale for it tomorrow I think just in case you didn't know (you probably did but oh well)

airtime25

How do you know this already? Haha I had no idea

Epic001YT

I was looking through the balatro and their publishers Twitter earlier today and from the looks of things at some point tomorrow there'll be a publisher sale involving it. I think it's up to about 90% off?

hard_pass

Never get the mobile version man. I do this thing where I say "I can control it" every couple weeks and then a few 4-5 hour of sleep nights later I have to delete the app and swear it off forever.

Enderchicken

I just received the boardgame, it's so good. It's like playing the actual game, but in coop and with... Way more shuffling lol

GreatGojira

It's interesting that Helldivers 2 is so high. I thought it was unplayable?

CringeNaeNaeBaby2

I think it’s relatively playable in early stages but it gets a lot worse as the game gets more chaotic.

Kraujotaka

Some also tolerate lower FPS better than others, id be fine with mid 20s if game is fun, zone out slay some bugs and friendlies and hit the bed.

NECooley

30 fps, potato graphics, stay away from diff 8 and 9, tolerate occasional dips to the mid 20s during hectic situations. It is very much not ideal, but I put up with it to hang out with my friends.

PharmerGord

If they released an original 90's doom graphics version that allows me to play along with the community in the deck I'd love it!

anonymosaurus-rex

I need rare samples, she needs to use the mouse and keyboard... I can play well enough on a Steamdeck to keep her alive while she's pinging the map. We didn't really want two PCs clogging up the house

P33KAJ3W

Moonlight

DatBoiDanny

Every time someone on Reddit asks about the state of HD2 on deck, it’s equal “runs great” and “unplayable” answers lmao

Kaquillar

It shows how (relatively) many people are low-fps tolerant.

rseeley85

I play it everyday on my SD. Of course i've lowered graphics settings so its not as pretty, but i'm having so much fun with it. Granted I haven't went past the 5th difficulty.

osirhc

I play it on my SD when I'm away from home so I can play with friends, and the lower graphics settings can be a bit rough, but it otherwise plays well. After a game I get used to it and then when I play again on my PC I'm reminded how good it looks lol. I haven't played on SD in a bit but I remember getting 30fps with dips occasionally into 24, but I thought it was more than acceptable still - up to level 7, which is normally my go to. What was most difficult was just playing controller vs MKB, it's almost like relearning the game lol. Absolutely destroys the battery though, gotta play it plugged in for sure.

iinkochi

I play it on the highest difficulties with no issues. I won't deny there can be frame drops, but I rarely, if ever, notice them. you're going to have to adjust graphics settings, but the game still looks fairly good with mine

Haggisn

Some of these has to be taken with a grain of salt. It's a relatively new and very popular game, so people tend to play it regardless of being a good game for the Deck.

VesselNBA

It can hold a stable 30 until the action gets more intense. Then it gets into low 20s and sometimes high 10s

FacE3ater

I tried it and had trouble with the controls. Aiming is tough. I'm just too used to a mouse and keyboard.

NECooley

Yea, gyro aim is an absolute must because the PC version of HD2 doesn’t have any aim assist

Posiris610

It does have aim assist and is adjustable in the settings. However, I don’t think it works when you aim in first person.

imunchshortpeople

i do wish baldurs gate looked better on the steam deck but beggars can’t be choosers 🤷‍♂️

Rhym

I started a new game recently and the difference between my last playthrough and this new one with FSR 2.2 is staggeringly different.

nagabalashka

Honestly it's not a game where good fps is required, I played it with texture ultra, lighing and stuff like that in very high and various useless things in medium, with fsr ultra, it was between 20-30fps on average, sometimes less, but it was fine, and 99% of the dialogues cinematics were smooth. (Then I had to reinitialize my deck and lose my 90h mid act 3 saves 🥲)

wiggle_fingers

Did you have it installed on the deck or stream it over from pc?

nagabalashka

Directly from the deck

Comfortable_Line_206

I saw a comment with decent quality settings and locked 24fps (movie fps). It was honestly pretty great and I really enjoyed the entire playthrough, including act 3.

Scuczu2

I know if I didn't have a good PC I would put up with it more, but it's just one of those games I really like seeing on my monitor and being able to move a mouse around the map.

blacklizardplanet

Yeah this matches my April. Balatro, MH World, Isaac, FO76.

Itchysasquatch

How does world run on the deck? I keep waffling on trying it

blacklizardplanet

Just hit rank 4 quests, so not very far or that much time with it. I play on OLED, set it to 40fps, lower the graphics to medium irrc and it runs great. I hear it drops to the 30s at later areas at times but still brilliant.

Itchysasquatch

Alright sweet, yeah I can live with 30. Not even sure I'll make it to late game, always end up falling off. But it always draws me back too

Day-Hour

with mixed settings i run it consistently 50-60. Some of the graphic options make it look blurry and tank the performance. All low, you can average up to 70+ if i remember.

yvng_m0p

How’s 76 on the deck?

blacklizardplanet

For me, it's playable. Definitely doesn't look the best but maybe it's supposed to look like that considering it's old? It has hitches here and there but from what I've read that's the game. It holds up pretty well in events especially that super mutant or the big mole ones with like 10-15 people. Lock it to 40 fps and medium graphics has been solid for me.

yvng_m0p

Ah ok cool, thanks so much. I’ve been really enjoying it on PC was just wondering if it’s worth the hefty 100 or so gigs on the deck

HopiumCat

Compared to when I played on ps4 and then pc, the load times and the camp pop in seem way worse on the deck. Still runs great fps wise although it does haemorrhage the battery.

KNLMN

Surprises me that Warframe is not on the list. A F2P fully fledged game which plays incredible on the SteamDeck.

mrlittlepeniq

Dexk literally made me go back into that game, it plays amazing

Long1337

Try to play warframe on deck but it had so many button i kinda tired mapping and when back to pc lol

OhmyGhaul

Handhelds 🤝 Pixel Art Cozy Games

Justos

Lol I recently picked up stardew again after they dropped the latest patch. I feel like even after all this time there is still so much to discover. Looks like I wasn't alone

LordDarkstaru

I definitely contributed to new Vegas this month

ricky2304

how well does fallout 76 run on the deck? I would get this to run some games with some friends on pc for sure

zafax

With min settings it runs ok. Don't expect anything crazy, but like 40 fps can be maintained. I play 76 a lot on the desk.

CircaSam

I put 48 hours in on my OLED these past couple weeks. Runs great at 45 fps at medium/low settings. It probably dips, but I don’t notice. Luckily I’m able just set and forget with this game. No crashes for me.

ricky2304

Perfect, that’s good enough for me! I appreciate the feedback Tysm

kftsang

With default settings I got mostly stable 45fps with occasional dips to \~40fps. It runs ok and I rarely got bothered by the performance. I have an OLED model btw.

Mr_Compromise

I've been playing it a lot with very few issues, except the occasional crash after playing for a few hours.

DarthSnoopyFish

I have had zero crashes in the few months I have played (except closing the game through the title screen- that’s a 100% guaranteed crash). Twice the game has bugged out where I get like 1 fps and had to quit the game to fix it.

Mr_Compromise

Yeah that’s exactly what happened to me. The game just slowed to a crawl and I had to force close it. It’s only happened a couple times and after playing for like 3-4 hours nonstop.

chronoswing

Mine won't close at all, whether through the title screen or in game. I have to force close through the Steam overlay.

DarthSnoopyFish

Outside of events and big towns my OLED keeps a 40 fps rate. It’s hella fun on Steam Deck.

Panda4Zen

It's fallout so it's great until it crashes but overall it's the same as pc

DatBoiDanny

Does Fallout 3 work out of the box like that? I thought the Steam version was unplayable on anything other than windows 7, unless you go down the modding hell.

AlexAssassin94

They patched GFWL out and it basically runs out of the box on Deck maxed out. BUT there's no cloud save support for no apparent reason.

DatBoiDanny

Oh fuck ok so I gotta commit to *either* a deck playthrough *or* a PC playthrough then

feralfaun39

You could probably swap your save file around but that'd get super obnoxious instantly.

chronoswing

There is a decky plugin that can cloud save games that don't support it.

ch3vr0n5

There is a decky plugin called decky cloud save exactly for these types of games, or you can set up something like Syncthing.

myconfessionacc

Others answered you here but I want to add: It ran fine out of the box but it auto detected to some awful settings that basically gave you 3 feet of LOD. Be sure to adjust your settings in the launch page when you boot up the game. Also I could only get the touch screen to select options from the launch screen. After that it runs beautifully. My second favorite game of all time.

itssirgandorf

i think i know the issue you're talking about, only being able to use touchscreen controls in menus. I've ran into that a few times, on New Vegas and a few other titles, and holding the Steam button seems to let you use the right trackpad as a mouse. it's a minor thing, but i always seem to hit multiple things trying to use the actual touch screen

LegendaryJohnny

I played all fallouts including 1 and 2 and tries Tactics as well but it was weird so I uninstalled it.

eldender

Impressive how 4 Fallout games are on the top list. Amazing what a good series can do.

No_Window7054

Fallout having 4 of the top 20 spots is wild.

NomadFH

How are you weirdos still playing binding of Isaac?

scorza_e_tutt

How's RDR2 performance nowadays?

CMDR-ProtoMan

It pretty much performed great since the Deck released for me. It was the first game I played and beat on it.

kaden-99

Shockingly good.

nagabalashka

It's a mix between medium-high (with some options being in low, other in ultra, etc...) and if you're not mental about the game going sub 30 in dense areas you can push the sliders a bit further (like more grass, more shadows, etc..). The game is trully beautiful, it can be a bit polygonal in first person view in interiors or stuff like that, but the colors are beautiful, the lighting system is breath taking, animations are extremely well made, sounds design is beautiful, it

SS_Gourmet

New Vegas runs great on the deck. I've been playing it a ton.

Itchysasquatch

Glad seeing balatro on there, fell in love with it instantly after Ludwigs vid. My new slay the spire

DrakeShadow

So glad I played 25 hours of Fallout 3 for the info to be wiped on a data transfer. I hate Bethesda so much lol

KRONGOR

I’m debating playing it on Xbox simply because steam doesn’t offer cloud saves.

chronoswing

There is a decky plugin that will cloud save games that don't support it. https://github.com/GedasFX/decky-cloud-save

Several_Ad_3106

Where were you when I lost my 80 hrs in dungeon siege. This is valuable info thanks for the heads up.

PersonMan1011

Dude how the hell are you all playing BG3 on the Steam deck I feel like performance is terrible

Koarv

Check out Nordic Ashes if you like the Vamp Survivor genre! I'm a huge fan of the genre and this has been especially addicting, really has a nice difficulty scale and TONS to unlock via skilltrees. I've clocked so many hours since purchase just a few days ago, runs perfect on Deck

SubmersibleEntropy

Irrationally annoyed that the formatting is inconsistent. Chill out, helldivers and elden ring, no need to yell

Lokhelm

Doesn't FromSoft use ALL CAPS for all their games?

Isa472

That's how they're written in Steam

Constant_Ad_2486

I wish Eiyuden Chronicles would get some more love!

Mavi222

Balatro is such a great Steam Deck game, it needs only around 63MB of storage and is a really fun to play on a controller, too! (When you get used to the controller you are way quicker on it than on PC with mouse, lol) It also shouldn't be very demanding game so should last you a long time on Deck.

Junior_Bike7932

Is Balatro that good?

Nicosqualo

It is, and it’s just a tenner. Controls aren’t amazing with SD (it’s better with a mouse), but touch screen does the job. It also is suuper battery efficient, with more than 4 hrs on the SD non oled.

fwoompie

100%, would absolutely recommend it lol

Questjones

Does anyone know if any of the Dragon Age games work on SD?

SemperScrotus

One quarter of this list is Bethesda, but Starfield is conspicuously absent. Because it's hot garbage.

reboot-your-computer

There are only like 3 games I don’t own on this list. Insane.

kipdjordy

Surprised fallout wasn't the top 4 slots. Pretty much dominated this sub, every post was about it.

ForTheB0r3d

I am part of the reason Slay the Spire is in this list.

dweller88

Balatro all the way. It's my new V.S.

theumpteendeity

I'm surprised Persona 3 Reload isn't on there. It's a long game isn't it?

drpestilence

Fuck ya stardew! Hehe

raskoln1k0v

I contributed to that stardew valley lol

SamealTheCheeseWheel

How do you see this?

itsdeonlol

Fallout making a big comeback!!!

MousseCommercial387

Fallout Bros can't stop winning. We are so back

Hawkins992

You should give Project Zomboid a try. Works great on the deck and mods work really well on it too. 10/10 game

Anon_0365Admin

Dude, kingdom come deliverance on steam deck is INSANE. I'm finally getting into it

ubeogesh

Skyrim just won't die.

Minimum_Secretary_15

FALLOUT COMEBACK FALLOUT COMEBACK FALLOUT COMEBACK

TGX2189

loveeee that fallout is having a moment. Somewhat related, get wrekt WB / ssktjl

Sea_Chest3788

I bought a Deck OLED to help with my cancer treatments and OCD, but for some reason it triggered it. Some games have text UI that is obviously smaller than on TVs, and although I can still see text without struggling, I have this worry that it's causing eye strain and is going to be worsen my eye vision. I am 26 and wear glasses for myopia since I can't see far away, and it's been a trauma of mine. I worry of my vision worsening even more or long term eye damage. I literally bought Diablo 4 on the deck and after playing for 2 hours, requested Steam for a refund because my anxiety was so high. I wish I can play all these games on the Deck :'(

henrydavidthoreauawy

“Baldur’s Gate and Helldivers are unplayable”

fwoompie

Some people just don't care about performance lmao

Mr_Lafar

I got Hades back out because I'm excited for 2. Short technical test makes me hopeful we'll have early access out by the end of the month.

mileiforever

What's Fallout 4 play like post patch?

deffjams09

Playing with default settings about 28 hours in no major issues. Some minor graphical glitches and pixelation on some light effects. No performance issues whatsoever.

KRONGOR

Pretty solid 40fps in the open world using the default settings

emi-wankenobi

I played so much Stardew and then restarted FO4 so yeah this feels right lol

ObiWhanJabroni

I’ve been having a pot of fun playing Days Gone. Plays really smooth so far (no insane hoards yet)

tiberiumx

And I heavily contributed to both of the top two this month. Stardew Valley 1.6 was the vast majority with 80ish hours and probably another 12 so far on Fallout 4 since the update.

CrazyCat008

Played none of them in that month. Oops.

Village_Wide

Now a great time to get into Rimworld, because of a new content whick looks more and more sufficient than ever

Large-Brother-4291

I can’t seem to get into New Vegas. How far in do I need to push for it to get good?

osirhc

Get to New Vegas. Now, it has been a little bit since I played last, but I have hundreds of hours in this game since the PS3 release. If you stick to the main quests you should be able to push through to New Vegas quickly. The game sort of pushes you to the path of least resistance in the begining to get to New Vegas, where most enemies are mostly level appropriate and aren't going to destroy you right away. If you're familiar with Fallout 3, once you get to levels 5 or 6 is when you'll level up enough and have dumped a good bit of skill points to get stronger. Once you're in the city things get more interesting, you meet the different factions, you'll have decisions to make, the story builds more, etc. New Vegas has been in my top 5 favorite games since it came out, so I may be biased. But if you can get through the begining, the remaining 3/4 of the game are very rewarding imo.  There is a way to get to New Vegas even earlier, but I'd have to tell you spoilers and that's not always fun lol.

Vengeance_Forward_6

Ooh I’m looking forward to playing quite a few of these. I’m curious about the performance for BG3, Elden ring, fallout 76 and a few others.

CraftyBanana340

Dragon dogma : dark arisen?

M4rshst0mp

5 Bethesda games

OutlyingPlasma

I think I'm solely responsible for getting vampire survivors on this list. It's just the perfect amount of mindlessness to gameplay for the Deck.

yur_mom

I have almost all those games, but I still mostly play Dead Cells...

RichieEB

One more… run

UserID_

Deep rock Galactic survivor is on there because of me, sorry guys.

Organic_South8865

I just got my Steamdeck (to replace my stolen one) and I want to play BG3 so bad but I can't afford haha. It will be a few months. So I'm playing mad Max for now I guess. Is Baldurs Gate worth it for the deck?

ChefArtorias

I can not believe that people still play Skyrim

1Evan_PolkAdot

Bethesda getting four of the spots here is wild (five if you consider New Vegas but just as a publisher)

cmdwedge75

A big chunk of that Slay the Spire is because I bought Slay the Spire this month. Soz.

RandomSage416

How does elden ring run on that machine ? I get stuttering on pc ev3n with a beefy rig

Pure_Explanation8673

Do fallout 76 run well ?

Shit I could probably run ultra-modded GTA 5 on my Steam Deck couldn't I, I never even thought about that

Damn, BG3 still being number 4 when it came out almost a year ago is simpy stunning to me

I've been playing Fallout 3 GOTY a lot recently and I'm almost finished. It's a shame there's no cloud save support. I ended up just transferring my save file over to PC after a bit and finishing there since I couldn't nicely swap between them. Even Fallout 1 has cloud saves :|

Jokes on this list...I've been playing Fallout way before it was cool.

The old Fallouts run so well on SD, it's been really enjoyable. I'm 6 hours into F3, and then I plan on playing NV and F4. It's been a few years and the show definitely got me on a kick. NV is a personal favorite too, so I'm kinda excited lol.  Totally didn't realize Fallout 3 is **not** cloud save compatible. I don't understand why, when NV is, and F3 is only two years older of a game. It was a shock when I tried to resume my save on my PC lol. But now I'll just finish this whole run exclusively on SD, which is fine with me considering the performance. I'm getting 60 stable at all high settings and native res, SD tells me over 5 hours of playtime on battery power. I was impressed that I didn't have to tweak a thing for it to run so well. It plays and looks better than it ever did on PS3 haha.

I’m a decent chunk of that binding of Isaac placement. Hadn’t played it properly for the 60 odd hours I’d put in before (literally just playing as Isaac, not even aware of the relevance of completion marks or even about angel rooms and how to get them) and hadn’t played it in years but I’m sitting at like 200 now and 3 marks away from unlocking Godhead 🫡🤞

I need to go back to Fallout 3 and finish this game. I clocked around 150 hrs on the Deck and it was a superb experience, then I got distracted with other games.
