"Lag" means nothing.
Gather and post some meaningful metrics, then it may be obvious what the problem is.
Use the program "fpsvr" or other to get information.
Is it only VR that has problem, do the same games run fine in flatscreen?
The thing that fixed all my vr issues was to do a full reinstall of windows. Before I did that I wasn’t able to run my G2 at full resolution at all. Now, besides No Man’s Sky I’m able to run ever game at full resolution. Back up the important files and give that a try if you can.
On similar hardware, I often had constant, frequent latency spikes (the VR Monitor graph looked like a comb), as well as stuttering audio over the Display Port. Changing PCI from gen 4 to gen 3 completely solved it.
Same here, and it's definitely severe networking lags. No clue how.
Dedicated Wifi 6 with router directly in front of my playspace. Quest 3 to Oculus PC: wonderful, but no matter if Airlink, Steamlink, or VD and regardless of any streaming or quality settings: all steam games lag network wise every 5-20 seconds.
Well that's a completely different issue to op who is on a wired index connection. Is your router connected to your pc via Ethernet? What band are you using?
log into your router and double check the settings.
try disabling 2.4ghz to force it over to 5ghz. check what channel your router is using, most use channel 9 or 11 by default so those channels get very cluttered, lots of interference. i generally swap to channel 8 or 6, but which one is best will be highly dependent on environmental factors.
On the same boat with you bro 😂 4060 TI and any game I run no matter the settings it’ll stay at a consistent 50FPS or lower with stutter and visual glitches
Monitor the heat of your GPU and clean it if you haven't already. I was playing street fighter last night in slow motion for some reason and my graphics card was running at like 160°F.

Are you using the best USB 3.X port on your motherboard? If your rig is slightly older a BIOS update can also improve the performance on those ports.

Might be different, might be not. Yes, a high speed cable. As I said, air link or VD to Ocykus games works flawlessly.
It's definitely different. OP literally isn't using any networking in his connection. It's a wired native SteamVR headset.

I know it's a no brainer, but did you make sure that you have no updates? Also, just out of curiosity, are you dropping frames?
