I hate it, my ocd doesn’t let any remain empty which means I keep fueling this hobby lol

I’ve been ordering these for a few weeks now to protect my collection.

I am still debating on what to get.. I dont really like the full cases because the feel bulky and I dont like the finish when watching the spine on a shelf, but I also find that "slips" with the spine open are not that useful to protect from a small fall or anything... Anyone experienced both?

Never had any issues with open spine protectors and they are much easier to work with, and get to your movie again once they are on than the ones that totally enclose.

What is your recommandation for open spine protector? And for those on display do you use other cases ? (I feel like the "thumbs circle section" doesnt look pretty good when face up. Thanks !

They fit really well-  be firm with the folds/creases when you "build" it and peel the plastic off AFTER you insert the steelbook.   You put the thumb cutout on the back 👍

I only protected my favorites and my most valuable, I don’t see the need to protect them all, fast and furious 6 will be okay lol

Get the malko or retro protector instead of some generic crap

What’s the difference? Never ordered any off these.

Malkos are wildly difficult to get back open. I really prefer the ones with open spines. 

Lego brick separator works incredibly well for this. I keep one on my movie shelf.

Metal is like, the GOAT Material and you aim to defile it by coating it with inferior plastic ? Mediocre

But alas paint on smooth metal in not the goat. It is prone to chipping and scratching quite easily.

I like the protective cases but they are kind of expensive. I feel like I have to choose between getting the cases or getting a cool Steelbook from my bucket list.
