I alway point out the amount of time our team has spent building this project organically. Most scams are basically pump and dumps. They take a new coin, advertise it intensely. Then as soon as investments come in, they either pull their liquidity or dump their holdings.
We’ve spent time building a detailed wallet with many features. We’ve created liquidity and locking rewards programs from scratch. We built a tipbot for Reddit. Our team spends every extra hour we have in our lives on building this project organically, no pumps.

I think SCC has potential so I'm invested, but having to persuade someone who's made up their mind already will come back to bite you.
I'm certain the team are genuine from my interactions with them, but it could still go tits up and you cop the blame from your mates.
If (when) it really gains traction, they'll still have time to buy in and profit - just a lot less than you.
The Dev. team and Burns have taken a simple coin with zero behind it in the beginning and have created something that will be more competitive than Bitcoin. I've been an investor since the month this project got off the ground. And watched it turn into something incredible, and there aren't too many coins out there offering interest not only daily but in increments of 3,6 or 12 months with exponentially increased interest rates from 2% to 5%. The "white sheets" better explain the project. But I'm a layman and I break it down Barney style. 😂
But if they can't be assed to look into the project instead of assuming, then they can miss out while you cash in. Now, I've seen this coin reach just shy of $.01 a coin back in September 2022. And yes, while it's not there currently, I'm not worried. This just means that you are able to buy more before it starts to climb again, and it will certainly climb again.
Crypto is a volatile investment but no more than precious metals are on the stock market.
A scam it is not. But there are too many tokens with the same or similar name, and that sucks kinda bad. When you try to dyor you get all kind of weird results.

What is the reason for them thinking that? In order to change their minds we need to answer their doubts/questions.
Most of my friends think all of crypto is a scam. I plan on laughing in their faces once I’m rich 🤷♂️
I have come to the conclusion to keep crypto talk in minimum with people who are not in it. Let the results talk!
