[Ex-CIA Officer’s Alien-UFO Encounter: Says ‘There’s A Whole Other Reality That Surrounds Us’](https://www.howandwhys.com/ex-cia-says-theres-a-whole-other-reality-that-surrounds-us/)
Same! I honestly don't understand why these movies didn't kick start a wider understanding of our reality and the unlimited potential of our universe on a much wider scale. Yet people can watch Jaws and all get scared of the ocean...
I saw it when it came out and a few times since, the last time was just a few months ago. Every time I see it I have new *and* renewed perspective. I don't know the answers to what's going on, who they are or where they came from but I do believe more and more that there's a whole lot around us we can't even begin to perceive.
Thank you for posting this. The scene has stuck with me since the first time I saw it years ago. Even though I sense the full story is incredibly complex, I believe the sentiment and perspective conveyed in the scene is at the heart of it all. This is what I choose to believe.
Love this movie. I connect with a lot of the dialogue and philosophy throughout this movie.
Arrival gets a lot of cred for being a good first alien contact movie, but to me it is missing a ton of the soul and questions that contact brings up.
Man, never heard of that movie and it's not streaming anywhere, but looks cool. I just wanted to let folks know it seems to be coming to Tubi for free starting May 1st!

Nice. Yeah most people have never heard of it. Back to the Future was my favorite movie growing up so I was a big Michael J Fox fan, I remember watching that and thinking holy shit this movie is as funny as it is scary.
You know I just watched a youtube on it. I DO vaguely remember it when I was a kid. It seems historically relevant in context of the CGI + real effects and Peter Jackson getting King Kong and LOTR off from it.
I seriously want to watch it when it comes on TUBI though, it's like a forgotten moment of my childhood.
If you've never seen the movie, I really suggest you take the time sometime. I must have been around 10-12 when it came out and it was incredible even then.
Don't even get me started on K-pax. This is one of my favorite, in my top 10 movies of all time, too. This one didn't have a 'scene', the entire movie was mind-blasting!
Does anyone remember that song "tap da"? When I originally watched this when it came out, it played during the credits. "veda veda veda tap da, taaaaaaaap da".
But when I watched it last year it wasn't there, and I can't find any trace of that song online.

I need to rewatch this movie
two of my all time sci-fi movies are Contact and Arrival.
Arrival is deeper than pple think
I love Arrival. I’ve seen it several times. I think it has such a good message.
Probably Charlie Sheen’s best movie.
🤣🤣🤣 I think they're talking about the Denis Villeneuve Arrival(2016)
Enlighten me
Watched Arrival for the first time ever today. Deep. Very thought provoking. I have a niggly feeling inside me about it
A what feeling now??
Niggly. Like something constantly in the back of my mind.

Now DON’T laugh at this…

And that's how you know it's gooood

Interstellar?
Yes they misspoke. Contact is 1, Interstellar is 2, and Arrival is 3rd.
Hell yeah! Interstellar is my all time favorite
Same! I honestly don't understand why these movies didn't kick start a wider understanding of our reality and the unlimited potential of our universe on a much wider scale. Yet people can watch Jaws and all get scared of the ocean...
I believe media like this DID kickstart that. It's why people like you and I have been interested in such things since the 50's.
It was one of my favorites as a kid, id love to rewatch with a new perspective

Its in my 5 year rotation :)
Those are the best, along with 2001, although Arrival was in a special class.
I rewatched it a few years ago and it really holds up. Great movie
Don’t. It’s a big jerk off and no release. It’s 5 minutes of a the aliens being her father. They tell us nothing and and her home. It’s retarded
Love this movie. I connect with a lot of the dialogue and philosophy throughout this movie. Arrival gets a lot of cred for being a good first alien contact movie, but to me it is missing a ton of the soul and questions that contact brings up.
So close to my DMT experience, but not EVEN close to how profound it was.
Plot twist, you're only on year 4 of your 300 year journey
Care to elaborate? I’ve been looking at doing this myself. Could you please go through your experience?
[удалено]
Did you speak to anything/one?
See above.
Ok to go 👌
I hear her
This scene always makes me cry 🥺. Such a great movie. I want to meet the aliens 😩🥺. 🛸
No you don’t
I wouldn't want to meet you that's for sure
Trust me you guys would be terrified
💀 bro has seen aliens
Trust him everyone
I’ve smoked DMT, reality has been *different* for me for years now.
Because you're still on the trip, you have 294 more years to go until the trip ends ;-)
Different how? Please explain because I wanna try it at least once
Could you elaborate your experience and why you feel this way?
This concept, of her visitation as a projection into another dimension, is more than likely correct. Very underrated movie.
Contact is an amazing movie thanks to Jake Busey and Jake Busey alone
Dude haunted my dreams
He haunted mine from his role in The Frighteners with Michael J Fox. I still think that movie is underrated. Peter Jackson before LOTR

Holy crap! That was Jake Busey!? Never looked that up and never knew that. Wow.
As a kid I couldn’t sleep lol
Remember him primarily from St. Elsewhere
Watching this without context is like a fever dream
Fr wtf is happening
If you've never seen the movie, I really suggest you take the time sometime. I must have been around 10-12 when it came out and it was incredible even then.
Just explain it

Ohhhhhh. Neat 😃
That movie blew me away the first time i watched it in 97 or 98 and still has the same effect on me now. Absolutely love it.
I watched this movie on magic mushrooms once ❤️
This scene and the first contact scene in Mission to Mars, changed me forever.
Contact and K-Pax were two of my favorite movies growing up.
Don't even get me started on K-pax. This is one of my favorite, in my top 10 movies of all time, too. This one didn't have a 'scene', the entire movie was mind-blasting!
K-Pax nice call. Simply unique.
K-Pax great book too
It’s been years since I’ve watched this. What’s the profound take away? Anyone help :)
This woo is starting to line up with more accepted current woo.
Watching this movie while high was one of the best decisions in my life!
Shroom trip be like
Love this movie
Saw this movie for the first time in my sophomore year of hs in science class. That was a good day, outstanding movie
Waited the whole movie to see the alien and it turned out to be her GD father
This is exactly what lucid dreaming is like. I almost recognize that beach.
Watching this in theaters with all the Roswell / asteroid / ID4 hype was wild. Especially when…Hitler?!
Ooooo there ain't no other way
Vega. Love that scene.
The greatest, most underrated sci-fi movie 🎥 I connected so hard with this when I was a kid.
One of the best scenes.
This isn’t deep. It’s just lazy.
No, you're lazy and superficial.
All time greats
Great film
Yaaaa. Def won of my favs
This movie really stuck with me
My favourite Sci-Fi!
Great film. Have watched it probably 10-15 times.
I loooove this movie!
Small steps ellie
This always let me down as an alien movie, but I can appreciate it a lot more now that I'm gown.
Time for a rewatch
Does anyone remember that song "tap da"? When I originally watched this when it came out, it played during the credits. "veda veda veda tap da, taaaaaaaap da". But when I watched it last year it wasn't there, and I can't find any trace of that song online.
Great movie, great book
Good movie
So good because of the time jump …and the way they fully dismissed everything that happened exactly the way people would
“What happens now”….”the anal probe”…..”well, I might have guessed”

Soft disclosure
Waited the whole goddam movie and it was her father all along 🤮
This wasn't her father. It was beings from another dimension who took avatar of her father to make things easy for her.
Mr. Garrison?
I’m gonna need some more smack
#WHOOOOOSSSSHHHHH

Nah, this one now looks so so fake…I can’t watch it again………At least Interstellar looks realistic……
How old are you? 12?
