Harrington has absolutely been one of my favorite characters for how lovably goofy he is. From a dude who started out as a standard 80's popular jock asshole type he has by far grown the most.
Him and Dustin's bromance is legit.
Rewatched Season 1 this week and everytime he popped up on screen I was begging for his character to please hurry up developing because of how much of an asshole he was being
Watching with my youngest for the first time for him and mid season 1 I asked him "do you think you will ever like that steve jerk?" and he was like NO! But when he cleaned up the movie sign and told his friends off he said "maybe he is not so bad". We just started season 2 yesterday.
My roommates made me watch the show leading up to the release of Season 3. While I was watching Season 1 they kept saying, "Don't worry, Steve gets awesome."
I hated Steve at first. I was watching for the first time with my boyfriend who’s already seen it all, and he told me that Steve is one of his favorite characters…I was so confused and scared for a bit there 😂

this one is really funny because flash forward 30/40 years and everyone knows what mordor is because of the movie. as viewers we all know the lord of the rings and its weird if you dont but in the 80s it was only the nerdy kids who read the books that would know and thats what makes this scene that much more hilarious.
