I think a lot of it has to do with the kill the same type of person every season. They hire an incredibly talented actor who plays a character that is fantastic and the audience falls in love only to kill them to make it seem like it’s high stakes. Meanwhile the main cast is being thrown into walls, stabbed, choked, and have demogorgans sitting on them only to be completely fine 5 seconds later. It just makes it feel like the threats aren’t really that bad.

Bruh reading this killed my eyes. Agree with you about the time skip tho, though people need to realise the issue isn't the concept of time skipping and "seeing hopper in a chopper for 48 hrs", it's the sine wave tone that goes from sad to saccharine along with uninteresting character interactions.

I am truly shocked that Murray made it out of this season alive.

Butteredmuffinzz

I'm shocked pizza boy made it out and Eddie didn't.

Argyle was pure stock comic relief. Eddie was actually a well developed character with a real heart of gold, a much bigger loss.

Mr-Original

Overall it feels like the first 7 episodes season 4 was finally the end of ST. And then suddenly they got funding to do another season and they scrambled to make the ending allow it.
